Hogwarts from another world

Chapter 8 The Lost Chapter

Malfoy Manor in Wiltshire is undoubtedly a famous place in the wizarding world.

As the mansion of the Malfoy family, a wealthy and ancient pure-blood family, Armand Malfoy, the first member of the family to come to England, used the land given by the Muggle King William the Conqueror to build this manor. So far, it has A full ten centuries have passed.

Over the past thousand years, the Malfoy family has been using their wealth and magic to maintain more or less influence in the British wizarding world.

Today's Malfoy Manor can be said to be magnificent. At the main entrance, there is a fountain spraying water; the surrounding corridors are wide, the stone floors are covered with gorgeous carpets, and the overall decoration is quite luxurious; and behind the fountain A proud white peacock struts on top of a neat yew hedge

Various evidences indicate that the current owner of the manor is a wizard who is accustomed to a comfortable and luxurious life.

But now, he walked quickly from the path outside the manor with a hurried look.

The midsummer sun shines on the narrow path, and at the same time it shines on Lucius Malfoy's hurried face.

He moved forward quickly, through dense low weeds and through tall hedges blowing in the wind, his robes flapping against his ankles from time to time.

The tall ornate iron door blocked his way, but he did not stop and continued walking forward. Just when he was about to hit the iron door, something wonderful happened. He walked straight through the iron door easily, and the black metal seemed to be just a cloud of smoke.

Finally, he returned to the manor.

Judging from his anxious expression and impetuous movements, he has long lost his usual elegance and calmness.

Lucius Malfoy glanced around, and then shouted a name angrily: "Dobby"

Only a crisp explosion was heard.

Then, a short monster appeared in front of the wizard. It has two big bat-like ears and a pair of protruding green eyes the size of tennis balls. It is a house elf, a house elf loyal to a pure-blood family.

"Master," it lowered its head humbly and asked, "I wonder what you have to do with Dobby?"

Lucius Malfoy seemed to be suppressing the anger in his heart: "How many books are there in total that I asked you to give to that gentleman?"

"There are six volumes in total, Master." The house elf Dobby glanced at his master with some fear and replied softly.

"Damn it," Lucius roared viciously, and then he flew up and kicked the house elf like a ball to a granite edge a few meters away.

At the same time he shouted: "Punish yourself"

Dobby nodded, then jumped up suddenly, banging his head against the stone beside him, shouting: "Bad Dobby is bad Dobby"

"That's enough." A few minutes later, Lucius seemed to vent his resentment when he saw the house elf smashing his head until his head was bleeding.

"As you command, Master." The house elf finally let go of his grip. At this time, it was even a little unsteady on its feet.

"Now, tell me if you lost one of the volumes on the way to take it out," Lucius asked with a sullen face.

"When Master Dobby took them out from Flourish and Blotts Bookstore, there were only six volumes." The house elf suddenly shuddered: "When he took them out, there were only six volumes."

"Lies, liars, liars," Lucius roared angrily, "continue to punish yourself."

The house elf had to start banging his head against the rocks again.

"Bad Dobby is better than bad Dobby"

Its head has been bruised and bloody, and its breath has gradually begun to weaken.

Lucius Malfoy's family seemed to be attracted by the noisy sounds here.

"What's wrong, dear?" His wife Narcissa Malfoy came over quickly.

Seeing the house elf in front of her who was almost knocking her to death, she frowned and said, "That's enough."

Upon hearing this order, the house elf finally stopped and collapsed on the ground like a dead fish.

While helping her husband adjust his collar, she asked gently: "What on earth happened, my dear?"

"Because of those books, those books that the Lord mentioned." A look of fear suddenly appeared on Lucius Malfoy's face: "I have asked Dobby to hand them over to the Lord, but today, The Italian guy suddenly wrote to me and said that there were seven volumes in total; but what Dobby got was only six volumes."

"Dad, why do you let a stupid and stupid house elf do such an important thing?" Lucius's son Draco Malfoy also came over. This 11-year-old boy will leave in a few days. Manor, went to Hogwarts to study.

After kicking away the house elf blocking his way on the ground, Draco looked at his father curiously.

"Because those books are contraband that is most strictly controlled by the Ministry of Magic." Lucius Malfoy explained: "They could not pass the inspection of the Department of Mysteries. The Italian guy mixed them in a pile and sent them to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore. The Magical Self-Defense Guide has just arrived in the UK."

"So I asked Dobby to steal it out and give it to the lord, so that even if the deeds were revealed, it would not affect us; otherwise, just being charged with possessing those books would be enough. I'm spending the rest of my life in Azkaban."

Draco Malfoy nodded in understanding.

"Does that adult know exactly how many volumes those books have?" Narcissa asked in a low voice.

"This" Lucius was suddenly stunned, then shook his head and said, "He probably doesn't know."

"Since he doesn't know yet, why not hide it from him first? I'm afraid he won't be able to contact the Italian guy." Narcissa suggested in a low voice.

"This is the only way." Lucius Malfoy had to agree: "I'll hide it from him first, and I'll go to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore to inquire and see if I can find the whereabouts of the missing volume."

"What does that book look like?" Draco Malfoy asked curiously: "Maybe I can see it, and then I can help Dad find it."

As he spoke, he patted his chest.

"Draco" Lucius Malfoy's expression suddenly changed, and he looked at his son with an extremely serious face: "Remember, that kind of thing is not something you can touch at all."

"Even if you encounter that kind of ancient and mysterious book, never touch it, let alone use it. Otherwise, death will be waiting for you."

"Or worse, everyone goes crazy."
