Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 72 Awakening, 1 Nothing

After Aiden's treatment for a period of time, Oliver, who had been in a coma for half a month, woke up from his deep sleep.

"What a strange ceiling. Where am I?" Oliver opened his hazy eyes.

"Ah, Father..." He sat up suddenly in bed.

"You finally woke up."

Oliver looked in the direction the sound came from and saw Aiden leaning against the door frame.

"Aiden, my father, how is he..."

Although Oliver asked the question, he already had the answer in his heart.

"Oliver, all resurrections in the world are false. Life and death are irreversible. Anyone who tries to challenge this will inevitably pay the price."

Aiden lowered his brows and did not directly answer Oliver's question.

"Aiden, there must be a way, magic, yes, there is still magic, or my father's way..."

Oliver seemed a little crazy and he pounded his head hard.

Aiden walked up and hugged Oliver to stop his behavior.

Oliver was in Aiden's arms, his whole body was in a daze, his sad emotions were tainted with magic, and black particles appeared in the air.

This time Aiden did not use soothing because the system's reminder was still in front of him.

"Unexpressed emotions never disappear, they are just buried alive... huh?"

Aiden used hints to induce Oliver to carefully stir up the sadness in his heart, allowing his emotions to subtly radiate outwards.

Oliver finally reacted, tears kept flowing out of his eyes, and finally he burst into tears.

Outside the house, the sound of Arthursie and Rada having fun could be heard from time to time; inside the house, Oliver's crying echoed all around.

The world was divided into two parts by a thin glass window.

When Oliver had cried enough, Aiden hypnotized him and calmed him down.

"Sensen, please prepare some easily digestible food." Aiden said to Sensen.

"Okay, Master Aiden." Sen Sen disappeared into the room.

Aiden took Oliver to sit in the living room. After Oliver calmed down, he looked dejected.

Outside the house, after having enough fun, Arthursi brought Rada back into the house.

"Oh, this gentleman doesn't look well," said Arthur.

"He had a little accident, which is related to that." Aiden replied.

Arthur looked confused: "Which one is that?"

"Didn't your father tell you?" Aiden felt a little strange.

"He, he only thinks about how to acquire wealth and power every day. He treated Astoria and me just to sell us for a good price.

The only thing we were taught was how to dress up and make friends with men.

Girls from big families are all like this, aren't they?"

Arthursie looked like she had discovered a new world, it turned out that there were things Aiden didn't know too.

Aiden: “…”

This made Aiden, who had never been a girl, a little confused.

"Do all your families teach this? What about Prewett? What did Aunt Molly learn?"

"Okay, tell me what that is. I'm quite curious." Arthur asked.

"If you don't know, then I can't tell you. You can try to go back and check Greengrass's collection of books, but remember that you will be under a contract if you read them." Aiden said seriously.

At this time, Sen Sen came out of the kitchen with a tray of food.

Aiden warmly invited Arthuri to sit down and eat, but Oliver did not respond.

Arthur looked at Oliver's distraught look, thoughtful.

After dinner, Arthursi made an excuse to leave and sneaked into the study.

She searched for information about "that" on the bookshelf, her heart filled with curiosity.

"Cough cough." Aiden coughed.

Arthur looked up and saw Aiden standing in the doorway.

"Hehe, what's wrong, Aiden?" Arthurie acted cute, trying to get away with it.

"You are so curious about the truth." Aiden said helplessly.

"You're just curious. Just tell me. My father never tells me these secrets. He always asks me to remember who are the pure-blood families every day."

Arthursie pleaded.

"Okay, follow me and take the oath. You will know after the oath." Aiden said.

"Hehe, big brother, are you trying to trick me into signing a weird contract?" Arthuri rolled her eyes.

"Sign it or not." Aiden rolled his eyes.

"Okay, okay, why don't I go with you?" Seeing Aiden was about to leave, Arthur hurried.

"I swear to the Slate of Silence that I will perform my duties conscientiously, maintain the peace of the two worlds, and fight to the end." * 2

After the oath was completed, an invisible wave surrounded Arthuri, and it seemed that the contract was established.

Then, Aiden gave Arthursi the record of his experiences in the deep world to read.

“Ah, this is…”

As Arthur was about to speak, Aiden covered her mouth.

"I've given you the truth. Now that you know it, you're probably scared."

Aiden put on a sly smile, which combined with his delicate features revealed an otherworldly beauty.

"Humph, I'm not afraid."

Arthur said stubbornly, but was also dazzled by Aiden's smirk.

"It's getting late, I should go back."

Arthur said goodbye to Aiden. Although she knew a great secret, she was still happy because she appreciated the beautiful things.

When they got to the living room, only Aiden and Oliver were left.

"Oliver, what are your plans next?" Aiden asked.

“I don’t know. If I go back to London, I’ll probably be sent to an orphanage.

I have nothing now, no family, no home, and even no past."

Oliver's eyes were empty and tears began to flow as he spoke.

"Well, Oliver I have a suggestion, you stay with me for a while until you find a new place to go." Aiden said.

"As for the records of the Muggle world, I will help you erase them."

"Aiden, I, I actually feel guilty. My father probably wanted to kill you..."

Oliver stumbled.

"Okay, Oliver, it's over." Aiden interrupted Oliver forcefully.

Oliver's heart was very complicated. He felt extremely sad and empty because he not only lost his loved ones, but also lost the meaning and purpose of his life.

At the same time, he felt confused and fearful about his future, and angry and confused about his father's departure.

“By the way, the Kingsport incident was characterized as a tragedy caused by improper management of public facilities.”

Aiden took a sip of tea and continued,

"The gas supply company paid a large sum of money for this. The compensation is with me. You and Sen Sen can go and get it later."

"Thank you Aiden."

After saying that, Oliver fell into silence.

Since Oliver woke up, he was no longer as lively as before and became silent and taciturn.

Aiden didn't know how to comfort him for a moment and could only let time heal his wounds.

Finally, it was late at night and the two went to rest.
