Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 54 Request and First Meeting

"I have never seen a patient with a family curse. If I want to treat this curse, I may need to make some changes. Can I meet the patient?"

Aiden made the request, and Arsenault was overjoyed.

"Then I will be waiting for you at the family home."

Afterwards, Arsenault slowly walked away and Aiden returned to the banquet hall.

"Does the Greengrass family need your help?" Dumbledore came over and asked gossipingly.

"Yeah, he wanted to see if I could help him find a solution to his family curse," Aiden said.

"Oh, that's great. If there are any results from the research, would you mind going with me to meet someone?"

Dumbledore was being mysterious.

"Let's wait until the results come out." Aiden rolled his eyes.

Since Dumbledore came over and attracted a lot of people's attention, Aiden could no longer remain invisible.

He could only stand there with a wine glass in hand and deal with the wizarding families who came to make friends with him.

"Oh, it's an honor to meet you, Mr. Prewett, I'm the patriarch of the Malfoy family, Lucius Malfoy."

Lucius Malfoy, dressed in impeccable robes, came forward.

If you look closely, he is just an enlarged version of Draco.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy, I have some acquaintance with your son."

Aiden gave Malfoy a compliment, and Malfoy looked pleased with himself.

"The Malfoys are somewhat related to the Prewetts, so I'll just be bold and call you Aiden."

Malfoy paused, then continued,

"I must remind you, my dear child, that not everyone has noble blood and a bright future like you.

Some families are great and noble, destined to be at the top of the wizarding world. Others, well, just rely on a bit of luck and cunning to stay there. "

He paused, as if giving Aiden some time to think, and then continued,

"I know you're a smart man, Aiden. You can't fail to see the true colors of those Weasleys, can you?

They appear to be noble on the surface, but what is the reality?

All they think about is how to climb up the social ladder and curry favor with powerful people."

Having said that, Lucius smiled disdainfully, then stood up again and resumed his superior posture.

"So, Aiden, I advise you to stay away from those Weasleys. Isn't it obvious who will bring you benefits and who will bring you trouble?"

Lucius' words were full of provocation and discord. He believed that with a little guidance, he could make Aiden suspicious and distrustful of the Weasley family.

After saying that, Malfoy left quickly, leaving Aiden standing there not knowing what to say.

"Oh, it seems our Ravenclaw genius really likes socializing, why not join Slytherin?"

A voice with a dull tone came from behind.

"But they came to me first, Professor. Everyone has some unlucky relatives." Aiden joked.

"Instead of wasting time on these insects, you should spend more time on your Potions.

Otherwise, if you take my notes but still mess up your Potions, it will tarnish your reputation as a genius."

Snape insulted Aiden openly and secretly, but Aiden shrugged.

"I will, Professor."

The banquet ended in a riot of joy.

.........

The next day, Aiden was invited to the Greengrass family.

The Greengrass family's manor is located in a quiet valley, surrounded by lush forests, like a piece of emerald carefully carved by nature.

The main building of the manor is a magnificent Gothic castle. Its stone exterior walls have stood the test of time and appear steady and solemn.

The castle's pointed towers soar into the clouds, as if touching the stars in the sky, while the intricately carved window frames reveal a classical elegance.

"Welcome to Greengrass, Mr. Prewett."

Arsenault greeted him at the entrance of the manor with a house-elf.

"You're so polite, just call me Aiden," Aiden said.

"Okay, I'll be welcome then." Arsenault gave a friendly smile.

Aiden followed Arsenault through a winding cobblestone path and arrived inside the castle.

The interior of the castle is decorated luxuriously and tastefully, with portraits of successive Greengrass family members hanging on the walls.

Arsenault took Aiden to the reception room.

"Please wait here for a moment. I'll call my daughter over. If you need anything, you can tell Xiaote."

Arsenault pointed at the house-elf and left.

Aiden looked around at the decoration, and soon Arsenault came over with two girls.

“Aiden, let me introduce you, this is my second daughter, Arthursie Greengrass.

This one is my third daughter, Astoria Greengrass.

Arthursie will go to Hogwarts this year, and Astoria next year."

"You are what my father called a genius." , "Hello, Mr. Prewett."

The two girls have different personalities and choose different attitudes towards Aiden.

"Arthursi, please pay attention to your manners," Arsenault scolded.

Arthursie reluctantly greeted Aiden.

"Aiden, this is my daughter, look at this..." Arsenault continued to say to Aiden.

"Well, how about we find a secluded spot and let me investigate?" Aiden said.

"Okay, please follow me."

Arsenault brought the three of them to a room filled with many instruments. This seemed to be where Arsenault studied magic on a daily basis.

"Ladies, please extend your hands," Aiden said.

Arthursie and Astoria held out their hands, and Aiden took out his magic and drew a rune on each of their hands.

Silver magic power flowed out from the runes on the hands of the two men, flowing through their blood vessels, and eventually formed a circulation that allowed Aiden to sense the status of the two men.

"Mr. Arsenault, can I cast a dispelling spell on them?" Aiden said.

"Of course, please feel free to do as you please." Arsenault raised his hand.

"Guard the ban."

Aiden waved his wand and two silver halos appeared on the two girls.

A faint red smoke came out from them.

Through the perception of magic, Aiden felt that the family curse had indeed weakened, but the effect was not great.

“Sure enough, you have a variation of this spell.

I have tried many times before, but I could only weaken the progress of the curse, not eradicate it."

There was weariness in Arsenault's voice, and it was clear that he was saddened by the curse on his family and that he could do nothing about it.

"This is indeed a problem. I need the blood of the two young ladies, and also, does the Greengrass family have any research records on curses?"

"Yes, the Greengrass family's library is open to you, sir. The blood will be given to you later."

When Arsenault heard that Aiden had decided to do research, he excitedly used the honorific.

"The timing is perfect, Aiden, please allow me to entertain you."

Arsenoliu Eden had lunch at the Greengrass household.

In the afternoon, Aiden entered the Greengrass family library and began to look through the research records of the Greengrass family ancestors on the blood curse.

Because long-term illness makes one a good doctor, and coupled with the long history of the family, the Greengrass family's records of this curse are quite detailed.

In their records, Aiden discovered that a family curse refers to a familial curse that is passed down through the maternal bloodline and can also be inherited from one generation to the next.

The subject's vitality continues to be robbed for the duration of the curse.

The curse will also destroy the recipient's immune system, making the recipient weak and sickly.

At the same time, the curse will delay the recipient's own recovery ability, and finally it will be a dream torture. The recipient will be troubled by the power of the curse every night, and the repeated experience will lead to nightmares.

"This is a bit tricky." Aiden stared at the book in his hands in a trance.
