Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 184 July

"Hello, Shanshan." Salina smiled friendly, "Nice to meet you."

"Hello." Cedric also smiled and nodded to her.

Shanshan bit her lips nervously. She seemed to want to say something but didn't dare to open her mouth. She could only twist her fingers nervously, and the apron on her body was full of wrinkles from being crumpled by her.

"Don't be afraid, Winky. Miss Salina and Mr. Cedric are both good people. They treat house-elves sincerely, just like Dobby!"

Dobby saw Winky's timidity and quickly comforted her. He explained to Salina and Cedric, "Winky is new and arrived at Hogwarts only a month ago. She worked for the Crouch family before, but because the Dark Mark appeared in the sky during the Quidditch World Cup, Mr. Crouch determined that it was Winky who did it and fired her!"

Dobby said indignantly, "How could Winky be so cowardly as to dare to place the Dark Mark? Mr. Crouch must have made a mistake!"

"Poor Shanshan," Salina looked at Shanshan with heartache.

Seeing Winky looking uneasy, Dobby enthusiastically pulled her over and introduced her to Salina and Cedric, "Winky is the most skillful house-elf in Hogwarts, and the berry pie she makes is the best in the kitchen!"

Winky lowered her head even lower, blushing and whispering, "Dobby, stop talking..."

Dobby puffed out his chest proudly and said, "Sparkling, I told you, we are free elves now, we should have our own ideas and pursuits!"

"But, but..." Winky seemed to have difficulty understanding what Dobby said. She twisted her fingers in confusion and whispered, "It is the duty of a house-elf to serve the master. We should not ask for compensation..."

Salina and Cedric exchanged surprised glances, and then they noticed that there was a shiny badge on Dobby's apron with a strange symbol engraved on it.

"Dobby, what is this?" Salina asked curiously.

Dobby proudly patted the badge on his chest and said, "This is the badge of the House-Elf Rights Promotion Association! We are fighting for the legal rights of house-elves, including reasonable pay and rest time!"

When Winky and several other house-elves heard Dobby's words, they all looked embarrassed. They lowered their heads and pretended to focus on the work at hand, as if Dobby's topic had nothing to do with them.

Salina couldn't help laughing, "Dobby, you are really different."

"Of course!" Dobby said proudly, "I am no longer the house-elf who was at the beck and call of others. I now have my own ideals and goals!"

"I do have an idea," Salina said with a smile, "You should go find Hermione. She should be very interested in your idea."

"Hermione?" Dobby tilted his head and thought for a moment, "Are you talking about Miss Granger?"

"Yes, that's her," Salina said with a smile, "She is a witch with a strong sense of justice. I believe she will support you."

Dobby's eyes lit up immediately, and he said excitedly, "Yes! Why didn't I think of that? Miss Salina, you are so smart!"

As it spoke, it disappeared in a flash.

……

December arrived quietly, and the grass on the hillside outside Hogwarts Castle was already covered with a thin layer of silver frost.

The biting cold wind howled from the depths of the forbidden forest, hitting the ancient city walls, making bursts of whimpers.

A blazing fire burned in the fireplace inside the castle, dispelling the cold and spreading warmth to every corner.

Ripples appeared on the surface of the Black Lake, and Durmstrang's huge sailing ship was shaking violently in the strong wind, as if it would be swallowed by the violent waves at any time.

Most of the students at Durmstrang chose to avoid the bad weather. Some of them gathered in the warm library, burying their heads in books; others came to the Slytherin lounge in groups of three or five, enjoying the warmth brought by the fireplace and chatting with friends.

In stark contrast to the students at Durmstrang, the handsome men and beautiful women from Beauxbatons didn't seem to care about the cold weather.

They still wore their exquisite silk robes and moved gracefully through the corridors of the castle.

Of course, most of the time they still liked to stay in their gorgeous and comfortable carriage, tasting delicious French food and admiring the snow scenery outside the window.

For the students of Hogwarts, the cold winter cannot stop their passion for Quidditch.

The Gryffindor common room was always bustling with activity, with everyone sitting around the fireplace, enthusiastically discussing the upcoming Quidditch match.

Of course, the most popular one is Gabrielle Delacour.

This little girl from Beauxbatons quickly won the love of Gryffindor students with her sweet smile and lively personality.

The biting cold wind was mixed with snowflakes. Next to Hagrid's Hut at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Harry, Ron and Hermione were standing in a messy pumpkin patch, shivering.

Hagrid drove ten skrewts laboriously out of their huts, preparing for their last "fresh air" before hibernation.

These creepy creatures are up to six feet long and are covered in a blue-gray carapace that's as tough as armor.

Their long tentacles are covered with sharp barbs, which make a teeth-grinding scraping sound when waved.

Despite Hagrid's best efforts to calm them with the remaining whiskey in the barrel, the skrewts remained restless and attacked each other.

"Merlin's beard! Why are they still so aggressive?" Ron dodged in fear, as a blasting-tailed skrewt's tentacle nearly hit his head. "I've told you, Hagrid, you should get rid of them all!"

"Shut up, Ron!" Hermione glared at him. "Hagrid is doing his best to take care of them!"

"I'm just worried they might hurt somebody, or..." Ron trailed off, "or hurt Hagrid."

Hagrid sighed, his thick arms covered with scratches from the blasting-tailed skrewts.

"I know, Ron. I'm worried, too. But I have to take responsibility for them."

He pointed to a pile of large wooden boxes not far away and said, "I have prepared boxes for them to hibernate in. We just need to drive them in."

"That's easier said than done!" Harry felt his scalp tingling as he looked at those frenzied blasting-tailed skrewts.

Just as he finished his words, a blast-tailed skrewt suddenly turned towards them, let out a piercing scream, and rushed over.

The blast-tailed skrewt was incredibly fast. It crouched low and rushed towards them like an arrow.

The sharp tentacles scraped across the ground, making a harsh sound and raising a cloud of dust.

"Be careful!" Harry pushed Ron and Hermione away, but he himself was unable to dodge and was about to be hit by the blasting-tailed skrewt.
