Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 183: Twinkle

Neville, who had turned into a canary, flapped his wings and flew around the tent restlessly. He made sharp noises and seemed to be very scared of his current appearance.

"What should we do? Will Neville be like this forever?" Hermione asked worriedly.

George quickly comforted her, "Don't worry, Hermione, the transformation will only last for a short time, Neville will be back soon."

Sure enough, not long after, the canary's body began to swell, and the golden feathers gradually faded away. Finally, Neville returned to his original appearance, but there was still a frightened expression on his face.

"I... I'm back..." Neville said with lingering fear. He touched his face fearfully to make sure that he was really back.

"I told you it's okay," Fred said proudly, "this cookie is very safe and won't have any side effects."

"It's just a little more expensive," George shrugged, "but there's nothing we can do about it. After all, we use a lot of precious raw materials."

Sitting on the sofa in the corner, Serena was watching the boys playing and playing with a smile when a house-elf suddenly appeared at her feet.

It bowed to Salina and said in a sharp voice, "Miss Swinburne, Mr. Diggory asked me to invite you to the kitchen. He wants to see you."

Salina was stunned for a moment, but still thanked the elf politely.

She stood up, straightened her clothes, and said to her friends, "Looks like I have to leave for a while, you guys enjoy yourself."

"Go ahead, Salina." Hermione blinked meaningfully.

Ginny was also laughing beside her.

Only the boys stopped smiling and looked at Serena's back thoughtfully as she left.

When Salina arrived at the kitchen, she found Cedric had been waiting for her for a long time.

In a small corner of the kitchen, it is decorated very warmly, with a soft blanket on the floor and a low table in the middle. The table is filled with a variety of delicious food, exuding tempting aroma.

"Thank you, Salina," Cedric immediately stood up to greet her when he saw Salina, with a grateful smile on his face, "Thanks to your reminder before, I can prepare in advance."

"You're welcome, we are friends." Salina smiled slightly and sat down at the table at Cedric's gesture.

Cedric pulled out a chair for Serena and introduced the delicacies on the table to her in a gentlemanly manner: "I asked the elves to prepare some food. I hope you will like it."

Salina looked at the dazzling array of food on the table, including roast chicken, sandwiches, fruits, cakes, etc. She couldn't help but salivate. She picked up a sandwich and tasted it, exclaiming, "It tastes really good!" Then she turned to the house elves and said, "Thank you."

The house-elves bowed excitedly, then turned around and skipped away.

Cedric also picked up a piece of cake and said with a smile: "Yes, they are all very capable."

The two of them enjoyed the food and chatted, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

Salina casually cast her eyes towards the wall, where a portrait was hanging.

The witch in the painting has a kind face, wears a pointed hat, a simple robe, and has her hands folded in front of her, like an elder who has experienced many vicissitudes of life but is still amiable.

Cedric followed Serena's gaze and introduced with a gentle smile: "This is the founder of Hufflepuff House, Helga Hufflepuff, and the first headmaster of Hogwarts."

"She looks so kind," Salina said softly, not wanting to take her eyes away from the portrait. "I can feel her love for this school."

"Yes," Cedric's tone was full of admiration, "She has devoted her entire life to Hogwarts. She made this school grow and prosper."

He paused, and continued, "She was the one who allowed Muggle-born children to enter school for the first time, against all odds. To do this, she exhausted her family's wealth and suffered opposition and resistance from many pure-blood families. But she never gave up, and her efforts were eventually rewarded, and they completely changed the landscape of the wizarding world."

"She is a true hero," Salina exclaimed sincerely.

"Yes, she is." Cedric nodded in agreement. "Helga Hufflepuff served as the headmistress of Hogwarts for life and was buried in the school after her death, but the exact location of her grave remains a mystery."

A slight noise came from not far away. Salina and Cedric turned their heads at the same time and saw the figure of a house-elf flash by at the corner.

It seemed a little hesitant, with only half of its head showing, and its pair of large, tennis-ball-like eyes rolled around, observing the movements in the kitchen.

"Dobby?" Salina recognized the familiar figure at a glance.

Hearing Salina's call, Dobby's eyes suddenly lit up. It rushed out from the corner, waving its two long ears excitedly, and trotted all the way to Salina.

"Ms. Salina! You still remember Dobby!" Dobby said excitedly, with a tremor in his voice, "That's great!"

"Of course I remember, Dobby," Serena said with a smile, "It's great to see you, how are you now?"

Dobby looked at Sharina gratefully, tears welling up in his eyes.

He sniffed and said, "Dobby is currently working at Hogwarts, helping out in the kitchens with the other house elves."

"Really? That's great!" Salina was sincerely happy for Dobby, "This place is much better than the Malfoys'. You will definitely like it here."

"Yes, Miss Salina," Dobby said happily, "The elves here are very friendly, and Headmaster Dumbledore is also very good to Dobby. Dobby is very happy to stay here."

"Oh! Miss Salina, Mr. Cedric, please follow me!" Dobby said excitedly, his brown eyes shining, "Dobby wants to introduce you to a new friend!"

He led Salina and Cedric through an archway into a more spacious and bright room.

The fire was burning, various tableware were clinking, the air was filled with the aroma of food, and a group of house-elves were busy working.

"Winky!" Dobby called towards a corner.

A thin figure poked her head out from behind a pile of plates. She had a pair of big watery eyes and was wearing a white apron that was clean but covered in oil stains.

"Winky, come here quickly," Dobby called out enthusiastically, "Look who's here?"

Shanshan walked over hesitantly. She twisted her fingers nervously and looked timidly at the floor, as if she didn't dare to look directly at Salina and Cedric.

"This is Miss Salina and Mr. Cedric," Dobby introduced, "They are both Dobby's good friends!"

Shanshan nodded gently. She glanced at Sharina secretly, then quickly lowered her head, a blush on her cheeks.
