Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 175 The 4th Warrior

"How about it, guys?" Fred shook the bottle in his hand proudly. "An ageing agent. Just a few drops can help us cross the age line. How about it? Do you want some?"

"Are you crazy?" Hermione said in a low voice, "This is against the rules!"

"Don't worry, Hermione, we have studied the rules carefully." George said confidently, "As long as we successfully submit our names, no one can do anything to us!"

They obviously didn't notice that Professor Dumbledore was standing not far away, his sharp eyes closely watching their every move.

Fred confidently crossed the age line and threw the parchment with his name on it into the Goblet of Fire. The Goblet of Fire did not react and Fred's name disappeared in the flames.

Just as Fred was about to cheer and celebrate, an invisible force suddenly bounced him backwards.

Fred fell awkwardly in the crowd, and the crowd burst into laughter.

Before Fred could react, something even more terrifying happened. His originally red hair turned white at a speed visible to the naked eye, and a long white beard grew on his face, making him look like an old man in his seventies or eighties.

"George, run!" Lee Jordan shouted in horror, "There's something wrong with the aging drug!"

George was obviously frightened by the scene before him. He turned around and tried to escape from the age limit, but it was too late. He was also bounced out by an invisible force and fell heavily beside Fred.

Like Fred, George aged rapidly. His once youthful face was now covered with wrinkles, and his hair and beard had turned gray.

The crowd laughed even louder, and Fred and George were so ashamed that they wished they could find a hole to crawl into.

Professor Dumbledore walked up to them with a serious look on his face and said sternly: "I have warned you long ago not to try to challenge the rules!"

Fred and George lowered their heads, not daring to refute.

"Fortunately, you didn't cause more serious consequences." Professor Dumbledore's tone softened a little. "I suggest you go see Madam Pomfrey. Maybe she can help you get back to normal. If there are other students who try to break the rules, go with them."

After saying this, Professor Dumbledore turned and left the hall.

Fred and George followed the crowd towards the auditorium dejectedly, and suppressed laughter could still be heard from the crowd from time to time.

Salina looked at her friends, smiled and followed the crowd into the auditorium.

The lively dinner is about to begin, and the finalists for the triumvirate competition will be announced tonight.

Golden lights filled the entire auditorium, and four long college tables were filled with excited students.

While tasting the fragrant pumpkin juice, they excitedly guessed who would be the warrior.

The air in the auditorium grew warmer with anticipation, and the aroma of barbecue wafted through the air amidst the laughter and chatter.

Professor Dumbledore stood up, his eyes sparkling, and his voice resounded in the hall: "Ladies and gentlemen! The exciting moment has arrived! The Goblet of Fire is about to make its choice!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the countless candles that had been lighting up the auditorium seemed to be blown away by an invisible wind, and the flames were extinguished one after another, plunging the entire auditorium into a suffocating darkness.

The students held their breath and waited nervously.

The next second, the Goblet of Fire placed in the center of the teacher's seat suddenly burst into a dazzling blue light, illuminating everything around it.

The color of the flame kept changing, finally settling on a deep red, like boiling blood.

A piece of charred parchment slowly rose from the flames and spiraled into the air.

Professor Dumbledore reached out and took the parchment steadily, unfolded it, and read the name on it aloud: "Viktor Krum!"

The students from Durmstrang burst into thunderous cheers. Krum stood up expressionlessly, walked through the cheering crowd, and entered the next room amid congratulations.

Karkaroff's face was filled with smiles, and he patted Krum's shoulder excitedly, as if he had foreseen his glorious victory in the Triwizard Tournament.

Then a second piece of charred parchment struggled out of the flames, swirling and trembling, and finally landed in Professor Dumbledore's hands.

The professor's face was solemn. He solemnly unfolded the parchment, cleared his throat, and read in an unusually clear voice: "Fleur Delacour!"

The students of Beauxbatons burst into cheers. The beautiful Fleur stood up gracefully and walked into the next room with a confident smile under the gaze of everyone.

The flames surged again, and the third piece of parchment flew out of the flames impatiently. Professor Dumbledore caught it steadily, unfolded it, and announced loudly: "Cedric Diggory!"

A deafening cheer erupted from the Hufflepuff table, and Cedric, surrounded by his friends, walked to the next room with a hint of shyness and determination.

The Goblet of Fire was silent for a moment. This time, it became more violent than ever, and the color of the flame became unpredictable.

A piece of parchment suddenly shot out from the flames, with a scorching temperature, and fell into Professor Dumbledore's hands.

The entire auditorium was silent, and you could hear a pin drop.

Professor Dumbledore stared at the parchment for a long time without speaking.

His expression was serious and confused, as if he had seen something incredible.

Finally, he took a deep breath and read the name on the parchment in a trembling voice: "Harry Potter!"

The name was like a bomb, exploding in the silent auditorium.

Everyone was stunned. They looked at each other, unable to believe their ears.

Harry Potter? The fourth grader? How could he be a Triwizard champion?

Harry felt his heartbeat drumming in his ears and his mind went blank.

He sat in the chair in a daze, even forgetting to breathe.

The whispers and exclamations of disbelief around me seemed to come from across a layer of water curtain, distant and unreal.

He saw the mocking smile on Draco's face, the worry and confusion in Ron's eyes, and the anxious look in Hermione's eyes.

"I didn't sign up," Harry whispered automatically, but his voice was drowned out by the noise around him.

Professor Dumbledore seemed surprised by this result as well. He frowned and his eyes moved back and forth between the parchment and Harry.

He exchanged a few words in a low voice with Professor McGonagall, who looked serious and worried.

"Harry Potter!" Professor Dumbledore raised his voice, his voice penetrating the noise of the hall and clearly reaching everyone's ears.

"Please come to the front!"
