Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 133 Oliver and Percy
The lively atmosphere of Christmas slowly faded away. The snow on the hillsides surrounding the manor had not completely melted and there was still a hint of chill in the air, but Salina had already embarked on her journey back to school.
Platform 9 and 3/4 was crowded with people. The air was filled with the smell of farewell and expectation, mixed with the smoke from the steam locomotive. Salina couldn't help but take a deep breath.
Donald's warm smile seemed to still be in front of her eyes. Salina tried hard to suppress the sadness in her heart, waved her hand vigorously, and said goodbye to Donald who was standing in the crowd.
She dragged her heavy suitcase through the bustling crowd, her ears filled with farewells in various languages and the sound of the suitcase wheels rubbing against the ground.
Salina saw Ginny and Colin from afar. They were standing at the connection of the Hogwarts Express carriages, waving at her.
As soon as she stepped onto the Hogwarts Express, Salina heard Ginny's clear voice: "Salina, you're finally here!"
Sharina smiled and quickened her pace, dragging her suitcase through the crowded crowd and walked in front of Ginny, "We thought you would miss the train!"
"How could that be? I'm always on time." Salina said with a smile as she stuffed the suitcase into the luggage rack.
The Hogwarts Express slowly left the platform and after a journey, arrived at its destination - Hogsmeade Station.
This semester, Salina has become even busier. Not only does she have to complete all her courses, but she also has to participate in Quidditch training during her break time.
Every morning, when the first ray of sunlight shines into the dormitory, Salina has already gotten up and started a day of study and training.
She absorbed knowledge eagerly, whether it was the complex formulas in Potions class or the spell practice in Transfiguration class, she took it seriously and strived to do her best.
The Quidditch training in the afternoon was even more arduous, as she practiced various difficult moves again and again in the strong wind. However, she never complained. Instead, she trained even harder, hoping to be able to play in the game and achieve good results.
At night, when other students had fallen asleep, Salina was still reviewing her homework under the dim light, and she fell asleep exhausted late at night.
Although it is hard work, Salina enjoys it because she knows that only by putting in more effort can she achieve her goals.
……
The afterglow of the setting sun fell on the Quidditch field, giving the green lawn a golden edge.
The bell for the end of training had just rung, and the team members walked to the sidelines in twos and threes, talking tiredly but contentedly about the results of today's training.
Serena untied her wrist guard and tucked the broom under her arm, her hair fluttering gently with her movements.
Oliver's figure appeared in front of her. He was against the light, and his tall figure seemed to be coated with a layer of gold.
"Salina, you did a great job today!" Oliver's voice was as energetic as ever. "That sweeping seven-star move was beautifully done!"
Salina smiled slightly and said modestly, "Thank you, Captain. I still need more practice."
Oliver's eyes fell on Salina's sweaty forehead. "You've worked very hard, Salina." He paused and took out a handkerchief from his pocket. "Here, wipe the sweat off your face."
Salina was stunned for a moment. Oliver's handkerchief had a faint minty scent, which was her favorite scent. She gently took the handkerchief and said, "Thank you."
The light of the setting sun became softer, making the two figures look particularly slender. Salina noticed that Oliver's ears also had a slight blush.
"Salina, I..." Oliver seemed to want to say something, but suddenly stopped.
"Hmm?" Salina raised her head and looked at Oliver with clear eyes, with a hint of doubt in her eyes.
As their eyes met, time seemed to stand still. The noisy sounds on the court gradually faded away, leaving only the sound of each other's heartbeats echoing in their ears.
Oliver took a deep breath and said, "It's nothing. Go back and rest early."
He turned around and strode towards the locker room, leaving Salina standing there alone, the afterglow of the setting sun illuminating her profile.
……
When Salina returned to the Gryffindor common room, it was still very lively.
The flames in the fireplace danced warmly, illuminating the room with a cozy atmosphere.
Groups of students sat around the table, discussing their homework or sharing their experiences of the day.
Salina looked around and found an empty seat at a table near the fireplace.
She sat down gently, resting her broomstick against the table leg, and pulled a small vial and bandages from her robe pocket.
She carefully rolled up her sleeves, revealing a few tiny scratches. A faint smell of blood mixed with the fragrance of herbs wafted away.
At this time, Percy was holding a thick book on History of Magic and was about to cross the common room when he accidentally caught a glimpse of Salina's actions.
Salina accidentally touched the scratch on her arm, and the pain made her gasp slightly and make a slight "hiss" sound.
The subtle sound caught Percy's attention. He was concentrating on the Potions textbook in his hand. After hearing the sound, he immediately raised his head, his eyes passed over the top of the book and fell on Salina.
Only then did Percy notice that there were several scratches on Salina's arms. The bright red blood had already coagulated, looking particularly glaring on her fair skin.
"How did you get hurt?" Percy's tone was filled with worry. He quickly put down the Potions textbook in his hand, not caring about the "snap" sound when the page closed. He walked around the table, walked to Salina, bent down, and carefully checked her wound, his eyes full of concern.
"I accidentally fell during Quidditch practice." Salina explained, and in order not to worry Percy, she added: "It's okay."
"Why are you so careless?" Percy gently scolded, with a hint of pampering in his tone, "Luckily it's just a scratch, but it's inconvenient for you to do this. Let me help you apply the medicine."
He stood up, walked to the corner of the lounge to get a glass of water, then returned to Salina and gently wiped the blood around her wound with clean water.
His movements were as gentle as if he were treating a fragile treasure, as if he was afraid of hurting her.
Sharina looked at Percy's focused expression, his brows slightly furrowed, as if he was the one who was hurt, and a warm feeling surged in her heart.
The dancing firelight in the fireplace shone on the side of his face, casting a layer of warm halo.
"Hiss..." When the cool ointment touched the wound, Salina couldn't help but gasp, even though Percy tried to be as gentle as possible.
"Does it hurt?" Percy raised his head, his eyes full of concern. "Bear with it, it will be fine soon."
He carefully applied the ointment on Salina, and his fingertips accidentally touched her skin. Salina felt a tingling sensation and her cheeks unconsciously flushed.
Percy seemed to notice this as well, his ears turned slightly red, but his hands became gentler.
