Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 132 A Scarf for Donald
Diagon Alley soon welcomed a special shop opening day.
Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, a sign with red letters on a gold background sparkled in the morning sun.
The shop is not big, but it is very lively. There are a wide variety of colorful magic tricks and merchandise, filling up the small space.
George and Fred, wearing brand new wizard robes, with irrepressible joy on their faces, greeted every customer enthusiastically.
The opening fireworks exploded in the air, scattering countless red and golden confetti, adding a unique vitality to the ancient Diagon Alley.
Salina and Harry came to visit the store together. Looking at the curious smiles on the faces of the little customers, they couldn't help but recall the excitement they felt when they first stepped into the magical world.
Sharina's eyes swept over the dazzling array of goods on the shelves, each of which was filled with Fred and George's whimsy.
She picked up a singing teapot and shook it gently. The teapot made a funny song, which made the little customers around her laugh.
"How is business? Is it good?" Salina said to Fred and George with a smile.
"Thanks to you, it's great!" Fred said excitedly, "Our products are very popular, especially those prank candies. We can't keep up with the demand!"
George added, "Thanks to your initial investment, we were able to open the store, and business is so booming. We will definitely return your investment to you as soon as possible!"
Salina waved her hand, "Don't worry, I believe your business will get better and better."
Harry also smiled and said, "Yes, your creativity is great. Even I want to buy a few to play with."
Fred and George looked at each other, then suddenly took out a beautifully packaged box from under the counter and handed it to Salina.
"This is our gift to you. Thank you for your continued support," George said sincerely.
Salina took the box with some surprise, and when she opened it, she saw an exquisite silver pendant box inside, which could play her favorite music when opened.
"Thank you, I like it very much." Salina said with emotion. Fred and George are always so thoughtful and always bring her surprises.
"As long as you like it." Fred said with a smile, "You are always welcome to come and play."
Salina and Harry walked around the store for a while, feeling the festive atmosphere of the opening, until night fell, then they said goodbye to Fred and George and left Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.
……
The shop windows on both sides of the street are decorated with glittering lights and colorful ribbons. The rich festive atmosphere permeates the air. Before we know it, Christmas has quickly arrived.
In the fireplace, the flames danced happily, filling the entire room with warm light.
Outside the window, heavy snow fluttered down like goose feathers, turning the entire manor into a fairy tale world covered in silver.
Serena was curled up on the couch in a soft red sweater, holding a steaming cup of cocoa.
Donald sat on a chair beside her, holding a thick book in his hand, occasionally looking up at her with eyes full of doting.
"Miss, what are you thinking about?" Donald closed the book and asked with a smile.
"Nothing, I just feel that such ordinary days are also very happy." Salina put the empty cup in her hand on the coffee table beside her.
"Me too." Donald stroked Serena's hair gently. "Seeing you grow up day by day and gradually become able to stand on your own, I am really happy."
Sharina smiled slightly, took out a beautifully wrapped box from her pocket and handed it to Donald, "Merry Christmas, Donald."
Donald took the box and opened it gently. Inside was a hand-woven scarf, dark blue with delicate silver patterns embroidered on it.
"Miss, did you knit this?" Donald asked in surprise, gently stroking the soft wool with his fingertips, feeling the remaining warmth on it.
"Do you like it?" Salina asked shyly, "I didn't use any magic."
"I like it, I like it very much." Donald wrapped the scarf around his neck, and a warm current instantly spread throughout his body, not only physical warmth, but also a touch of the soul.
"I wanted to knit a sweater for you, but I didn't have enough time." Salina said a little embarrassedly.
"It's okay, this scarf is enough." Donald gently hugged Salina into his arms and kissed her forehead. "Thank you, Miss Salina. This is the best Christmas gift I have ever received."
Outside the window, snowflakes were still falling quietly. Inside the house, the two people, like grandparents and grandchildren, snuggled up to each other, enjoying this warm and peaceful Christmas Eve.
……
The next morning, warm sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the living room. The huge Christmas tree in the center of the living room was hung with sparkling stars and colorful lights, and under the tree were piled all over with various gift boxes. Colorful wrapping paper and ribbons intertwined together, creating a scene full of festive atmosphere.
What Hermione gave her was a thick book on magical herbology, with beautiful words of blessing written on the title page, hoping that she would succeed in her studies in the new semester.
Ron gave her a big box of Bibi Multi-Flavor Beans with the most diverse flavors. The various strange flavors made her laugh and cry, but she also felt the thoughtfulness of his gift.
Ginny gave her a handmade necklace with a red gem on it, which was shaped like the Gryffindor emblem - a lion.
Neville gave her a beautiful pot of Golden Snitch cactus. It is said that the flowers of this cactus are shaped like golden snitches and sparkling.
Percy gave her a thick volume of "History of Magic" in the hope that she could gain wisdom from history; Wood gave her a limited edition photo album of Quidditch stars with autographs;
As expected, Fred and George sent a large box of their latest magic gadgets;
Harry gave a brand new set of Quidditch equipment; Draco gave an ancient book on the Dark Arts;
Colin gave her a large box of self-developed photographs; Terence gave her a box of exquisite chocolate balls and a pair of gold earrings;
Adrian gave a hair ornament made of nightingale feathers; Lucian gave a hardcover illustrated book of magical creatures;
Cedric gave her a collection of ancient magic ballads; Michael gave her a hand-painted portrait, which was delicate and lifelike.
……
Salina opened the gift with surprise, a happy smile on her face.
She carefully sorted and put away each gift. The magic books were neatly placed on the bookshelf, and the magic props were locked in the cabinet. As for the exquisite little gifts, she placed them one by one on the display cabinet, ready to appreciate them slowly.
