Marvel's Psyker

Chapter 15 The Osborne Family

Half an hour later, Bud finally got ready for the opening of the store for the day.

Both Lynch and Ben Parker are special guests. In fact, Bud's shop is not open yet.

Just when Bud turned over the sign hanging on the doorknob to [open], a domineering stretched Rolls Royce suddenly stopped at the door of the restaurant.

"Dad! This is what I told you. Many students in my class have mentioned this store to me, so I just want to bring you to try it!"

The car door opened, and a handsome teenager jumped out of the car and pulled a middle-aged man out of the car.

"Harry, how many times have I told you, don't be so fussy."

Although the middle-aged man had a cold face, when he looked at his son, his eyes were very gentle. The words in the mouth are lessons, but more like a joke between father and son.

"I can't wait! Harry, why are you still in the car? Get down quickly, we're going to eat! You know, Dad doesn't have much time in the morning!"

The handsome boy named Harry poked his head into the car and urged the people in the car.

After more than ten seconds, a boy with fair skin but thin stature and timid appearance came out of the car.As soon as he got out of the car, he cowered and hid behind his father.

Looking at such a cowardly young son, Norman Osborn showed a trace of dissatisfaction on his face.

"Harry, did I tell you? Boys don't put on such a cowering look! Be cheerful, confident, and walk with your head held high. Are you afraid of something?"

"Yes... I'm sorry, father, I will definitely pay attention next time."

"Learn from your brother!"

As if he didn't want to disappoint his father, or was afraid of his father's majesty, a little boy named Harry walked out from behind Norman, trying his best to put his head up high.

But it may be because of his too thin body that Harry's current appearance gives people a sense of bluff.

Norman sighed, not wanting to say anything more to Harry, he turned around and led his two sons into the restaurant.

"Good morning! Everyone." Bud welcomed the three of them into the tavern.

Norman Osborn sat down at a random table with Harry and Harry.

"I'm the owner and chef here, what can I order?"

Bud walked up to the three of them with a smile and handed over the menu.

Norman Osborn took the menu and did not rush to order, but first looked around the surrounding environment.

Although Bard's tavern is well-organized, tidy and clean, and the items are placed in a reasonable way, there is no feeling of clutter or depression.

But after all, this is just a small shop with an ordinary price. Although the environment is thoughtful, there is an upper limit after all.

This made Norman, who had seen too many high-end restaurants, frown a little.

"Harry, how did you think of recommending such a place?"

Norman said this in front of Bud. Although there was no displeasure in his tone, there was still a faint sense of arrogance.

Harry was lying on the table and distracted, and he chuckled when he heard what his father said.

"Heh~ why?"

"Please! Isn't it because you have to rush back to the company soon? So you can only find a house close to the school!"

"You think I don't want to find a good restaurant where we can sit together and have a nice dinner? The question is, do you have the time?"

What his son said made Norman a little speechless and blushed.

"Sorry, child."

Harry curled his lips ungratefully, "You don't need to apologize, I've already gotten used to it."

Norman wanted to say something, but watching his son turn his head away, Norman finally just sighed.

Seeing his father's predicament, Harry gave Harry a slight push.

"Okay, brother, father is already busy with work, you don't know it! It's already time to squeeze us out of the gap to send us to school and have breakfast with us."

Compared to his father, Harry could listen to his younger brother's words, nodded, and said "Yes".

Harry turned his head to look at Norman, "Father, if you're really busy, you can go first after breakfast and let the driver take me to school."

Norman was moved, but he also knew it wasn't fair to the youngest son.

"Is it really possible?"

"Ah."

Harry nodded and gave Norman a sensible smile.

"it does not matter!"

Seeing the smile on the face of his thin and thin son, Norman was a little touched.

"Thank you, Harry."

"Start to order, father, don't make people wait."

"Okay!" Norman called Bud who had been waiting at the table. "Hello, please give us a..."

After memorizing the order, Bud started with all his strength in the kitchen, and quickly prepared all the dishes for the Osborne family.

"Your food is ready, please use it slowly."

There was a look of surprise on Norman's face when he cut a piece of steak and put it in his mouth.

Bud's Tavern is actually quite famous around here.

Although Bud does not do any complicated high-end dishes, it is just some home-cooked food. But Bud is very attentive, often studying in private, so that the food in the tavern is not inferior to the high-end restaurant in taste, and it also has a relaxing homely feeling.

Two teenage boys were enjoying themselves, too.

Sitting around a table and eating breakfast, the family quickly chatted.

"Look, dad, I said this store is great, right? You still looked disgusted this morning and didn't want to come." Harry swallowed the bread in his mouth, looked at his father, and said jokingly.

"Okay, okay, it's Dad's fault."

Norman smiled sheepishly, and changed the subject, "By the way, Harry, how are you doing at the new school?"

"I think everything is pretty good! Although it is a little different from what I imagined, I think the school atmosphere is not bad, and I get along well with classmates and teachers."

"Eh~"

Norman sighed, "Although this is your own decision, I still have reservations about your transfer to an ordinary high school. If you had insisted on it back then, I would not have agreed!"

Harry smiled mischievously, "Dad, you know me from time to time! I have fought with that bastard in the original class several times!"

"Although Dad, you are the school manager, the school won't give me a demerit. But the problem is, always staying in the same school with the enemy, and seeing each other without looking up all day, it's not a big deal!"

Harry put down the bread in his hand and began to complain.

"And I hate that school, the atmosphere is as depressing as an ice cave!"

"Everyone has the same face. They only care about their own interests. They always stare at the back of others. When they show their flaws, they open their mouths and swallow each other in one bite. It's cold and has no human touch. So where is it? A school is like a prison!"

"And! The courses in private high schools are really many and difficult! I'm not Harry, I was born to study. Sometimes I really feel that my spirit is about to be tortured by those textbooks to the point of collapse!"

Harry stuffed the remaining half of the loaf of bread into his mouth at once, chewing, and said vaguely:

"Honestly, Dad, I'm much happier in regular high school now! The classes are much easier, and it's easier to get along with people."

"Oh, by the way, Dad, I also met a very good friend in school. His name is Peter Parker. He is a very interesting guy, and he is very similar to Harry in some ways! If I have the chance, I will take him Let Dad see you!"

"Also, last time..."

Harry kept talking, and Norman and Harry listened quietly, echoing from time to time.

During the not-so-rich breakfast time, on a small log dining table, a family of three rarely sat together, enjoyed the food together, and enjoyed a good time of reunion together.
