Hogwarts from another world

Chapter 15 Banquet (please recommend)

"Come, come," Miss Gyalma Farley shouted excitedly, "The principal is here."

It wasn't just her. With the appearance of the light blue smoke, the atmosphere in the entire auditorium instantly became extremely enthusiastic.

Many people around were like Miss Farley, cheering, applauding, and even banging the goblets on the table.

They were like stars holding the moon, welcoming their respected and beloved Headmaster of Hogwarts.

Gellert Grindelwald

As the light blue smoke dissipated, a familiar face appeared in the center seat of the guest of honor.

Professor Grindelwald is almost identical to his chocolate frog.

He waved his hand gently and effortlessly controlled the atmosphere in the auditorium, making the entire auditorium quiet.

He stood up, looked at the hundreds of students in front of him with a smile, and opened his arms. Nothing seemed to make him happier than seeing so many people gathered together.

"Welcome, welcome back to Hogwarts to start your new school year." A rich voice echoed in the auditorium: "Looking at your eager faces, I only have one thing to tell you now, and that is"

"The party begins"

The principal sat down again, and everyone was clapping and cheering desperately.

"Has Professor Grindelwald always been so popular?" Matthew asked Farley hesitantly.

"Of course" Farley said without any doubt: "He is undoubtedly the greatest wizard in the world, both in terms of magical ability and charisma. Would you like some pork chops, Matthew?"

Just as they were talking, the golden plates on the long table were already filled with food.

Roast beef, roast chicken, pork chops, lamb chops, sausages, steak, boiled potatoes, baked potatoes, potato chips, Yorkshire pudding, pea shoots, carrots, gravy, tomato sauce

The Slytherin students around him were already in action.

Vincent Crabbe picked up two sausages, and Gregory Gower grabbed four chicken drumsticks in both hands. No wonder they were so big at such a young age.

Matthew poked a piece of pork chop in front of him with his fork, and glanced at a circle of various potatoes.

To be honest, the taste is just average.

Sure enough, you can’t have too high expectations for British food.

But the best thing is to have enough.

At this moment, several screams came from the surrounding students.

Most of them were sent by the first-year students, because on the wall behind them, about twenty ghosts suddenly appeared.

These translucent guys were sliding around the auditorium while whispering and discussing something.

Matthew was not surprised, because he kept looking at the guest of honor seat as if nothing had happened.

He noticed that when these ghosts suddenly appeared, Professor Grindelwald had an obviously unhappy expression on his face. However, after Professor Rosier gave him half a grilled sausage, he quickly smiled and smiled. The other party nodded.

"Ouch" Draco Malfoy was suddenly frightened and breathless.

Because a scary-looking ghost appeared next to him. Empty eyes, thin face, and silvery blood stains on the robe

The surrounding Slytherin students took a few steps back, including Prefect Gemma Farley.

Matthew slowly raised his head, because he discovered that the target of this ghost was actually himself.

"Hello, Sir" Matthew said calmly. If he guessed correctly, the other person was Slytherin's resident ghost: Bloody Barrow.

"Hello." Ghost frowned: "Freshman"

"Yes, my name is Matthew, Matthew Wakefield."

"Sorry, I almost thought you were the new ghost." Bloody Barrow's voice was so soft that only Matthew could hear it.

After all, it passed through Matthew's body, which gave Matthew a terrible feeling as if he had just been poured a bucket of ice water.

"Are you okay?" Gemma Farley asked with some concern.

Matthew took a few deep breaths: "Are you okay?"

"It's best to stay away from ghosts in the future. Contact with them is not a comfortable thing, especially Mr. Barrow's temper has always been weird." Farley said kindly.

"Well, thanks"

The banquet is still going on.

Most people have opened their bellies and filled their bellies.

With the possible exception of Matthew, who seemed to have a bit of an appetite.

The rest of the food disappeared from the plate, and the plate became as clean as ever.

But before long, the pudding came again.

There are all kinds of ice cream flavors, including apple pie, syrup pie, chocolate sponge cake, fried jam donuts, wine-soaked jam pudding, strawberry, jelly, rice pudding

Matthew took a piece of syrup cake, and I have to say, the dessert tasted pretty good.

The classmates around started chatting about family matters.

It was obvious that Draco Malfoy was at the center of the chat. Many of the upperclassmen came to him, surrounded him, and even complimented him.

It seems that even in this world, the Malfoy family is still second to none in the wizarding world.

Of course not everyone is involved in this topic.

For example Matthew.

And the girl named Lestrange.

She walked towards Matthew, but her target was the plate of rice pudding next to Matthew.

"Excuse me, do you still want to eat this plate of pudding?"

Only then did Matthew notice that she had long, waterfall-like silver hair that almost reached her waist. Her big blue eyes looked at Matthew, while revealing a set of white and neat teeth.

Matthew was indeed the only one around who was still eating pudding.

"Okay, take it." Matthew handed the plate to the girl.

"Thanks, my friends and I enjoyed this."

She carefully carried the plate back to her previous seat.

Matthew's eyes returned to the guest of honor seat.

Ten minutes later the pudding was gone too.

Professor Grindelwald stood up, and the entire auditorium returned to silence.

"Oh, now that everyone has eaten and drank enough, I think there are some things that I must say." Professor Grindelwald's voice was very gentle, and at the same time it had a somewhat unquestionable flavor.

"First of all, I am pleased to welcome a new teacher to our team, Professor Troca, who has graciously agreed to fill the gap in the subject of Transfiguration."

A sparse round of applause gradually sounded. It was obvious that after such a banquet, many people had no energy left.

The pale Professor Troca also stood up, bowed lightly in all four directions, and grinned at the same time.

Matthew frowned.

Because he noticed that Professor Troca's canine teeth were very sharp.
