The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao and Dao Yin waited for the two people to come inside, and after a few seconds, two old men wearing robes came inside the room. They bowed their heads to the emperor on the bed and said, "Your lordship, we heard that two geniuses from the holy land have come to solve the trouble so we came here to pay respects."

The emperor nodded and pointed at the two people and said, "These two are the geniuses in your mouth, Sir Yang and Madam Yin."

The two men looked at the couple and they nodded, however, the minute flash in their eyes did not escape the two when they looked at Dao Yin. Yang Dao frowned and the old man in silver robes asked, "Sir Yang, have you found the source of the trouble?"

Yang Dao ignored the old man and turned to face the emperor he asked, "May I ask who was the person responsible for laying out this palace?"

The emperor was confused but the old man in a silver robe said, "My ancestors were responsible for building this palace the way it is, why do you ask sir?"

Yang Dao looked at the old man with a condescending gaze and said, "So, the next question is for you. Did your ancestor have any deep enmity with the emperor?"

The people were shocked, the old man was one of them. However, he recovered his expression and said, "Hahaha, you surely jest, Sir Yang. What enmity can my ancestors have with the emperor?"

Dao Yin replied, "We do not know, but from what we have investigated, the whole palace is built to flush the fortune at the point where lay the throne, however, what we do not understand is why is the misfortune also flushed at the same point."

The old man's face became ugly. He said, "I have no idea of what you are saying."

He turned to the emperor and said, "Your Excellency, will you allow these kids to spout all this nonsense and throw mud on my ancestors?"

The emperor had already been told by Yang Dao and Dao Yin about all this and he was confused at this moment. After all, one was the person who had been by his side all his life and on the other side stood two people he had specially called over to solve the troubles.

Dao Yin said, "Your excellency, if you choose to believe these old people, then you will be singing off your life to them and at the same time, the future of your lineage. You will be the last of your line and given your condition, you will not be able to give birth to any offspring. The choice is yours, whether to be prosperous or to be the sinner."

She dropped the emotional card at the moment when the logic was blurring. Nobody expected her to use this card. Yang Dao smirked and said, "Your excellency, you do not have to feel forced by us. You can just say that you do not need us, and we will leave. However, the results of our departure will display what the truth is. The emperor still did not speak and Yang Dao glanced at Dao Yin. The latter nodded and then the two people turned to leave the room. They had just reached the threshold when the emperor said, "Wait, Sir Yang."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin turned around with a smile and they waited for the emperor to speak. However, the old man in silver robes tried to interrupt but before a sound could leak out of his mouth, Dao Yin said, "Shut up."

The old man froze in his place, his mouth wide open. The emperor said, "I trust you, please help me."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin smiled and they waved their hands. The rules of space were played and the people appeared in the sky above the palace. The emperor, his younger brother, the eunuch, and the two older men.

Dao Yin said, "Yang, I send other people in the palace outside too."

Yang Dao smiled and said, "I know, my love. Shall we begin?"

The girl nodded with a slight blush over her face. The next moment they used the source energy of the earth and the building of the palace began to change. The people saw the palace being visible twisting and turning. They looked at the scene with eyes wide open, words were not enough to describe the feelings they were experiencing during this moment.

The loud noise from the palace attracted attention all over the city. Then they spotted Yang Dao and Dao Yin in the sky. The people did not care about the rules at this moment and they began to fly up in the void to look at what was going on.

They saw the imperial palace changing, it was as if clay was being molded. Yang Dao raised both his hands and said, "Yin, the spirits."

Dao Yin nodded and then she whispered a few words and then they both released the spirits. Yang Dao said, "Ushi, go rectify the wind."

Ushi smiled and said, "Will you give me sweets after this master?"

Yang Dao gazed at her and Dao Yin smiled as she said, "I will get you a whole trunk full of sweets."

Ushi giggled and said, "Mistress you are the best."

Yang Dao rolled his eyes, as the sylph vanished from their sight. Plume appeared in the void and flew around the two people. It said, "Master, the people are getting closer."

"Hmmm.", hummed the boy, as he focused on the building below.

Plume took the command and immediately completed a round in the wider range and then a ring of fire appeared out of nowhere. The approaching people quickly backed off. They were scared to the depth of their beings. It was not only the immortal soul realm cultivators but even the true immortals were scared shitless at this moment.

The reason was the intensity of heat they faced from the ring of fire. When some experts wanted to go through the fire, they heard a cold voice in their minds, "I will not even leave your ashes, dare you to step inside the boundary."

This was enough to deter the crowd. They all watched from the side. Yang Dao said, "Yin, almost done."

Dao Yin nodded and let out a deep breath. The palace that had turned into a puddle of clay turned into a glorious building. The outside of the place was built in a square while the inside of the palace was made in a circle.

Four holy beasts were engraved on the four pillars at the corner of the four sides. In the center of the palace were a pond and a rock garden. The people had no idea of what these two youths have done but the palace was completely changed. Yang Dao said, "The throne room is made below the pond and the rock garden to show you the balance of providence."

More than the changes in the palace the people were shaken by the changes in the two old men in the void. They have changed into young men. Both of them have changed into dashing youths, so charming that the women in the city could not take their eyes off. Yang Dao said, "The situation has been rectified. You can deal with these traitors by yourselves."

The emperor bowed to Yang Dao and said, "Sir, the Xu empire will be indebted to you and madam Yin forever."

Dao Yin smiled and said, "Do not put us on a pedestal, Your Excellency, we just did what the holy land asked of us."

At this moment, the four spirits came back to them and they melted in their bodies. Yang Dao and Dao Yin said, "We now need to take our leave. The task has been completed."

The emperor nodded and said, "Sir, Madam, in the future, you will be treated as the honored guests of the empire and can come to the palace whenever you wish. If you ever need us for anything, please do command."

Yang Dao smiled and said, "Your excellency, since you are so keen on paying your gratitude to us, we will give you the last gift."

He turned to face Dao Yin and the two people raised their hands. They pointed their index fingers at the heads of the two brothers and then a light flew to the foreheads of the two. They have just imparted cultivation techniques that could be passed down to the future generations.

Dao Yin said, "This will keep the cultivation base from being stained and passed on. The Xu emperor will not fall in the hands of crooked people."

Then the girl took out the talisman and tore it. The portal appeared in the void and the two people vanished. Yang Dao and Dao Yin bowed to the place where the two vanished, and then they gazed at the old men in silver robes. The Xu empire changed and the events of what happened here were like fire in the dry woods. The entire inner plane slowly got to know about Yang Dao and Dao Yin.
