The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao and Dao Yin sensed a strong force coming from the place where the teleportation array had exploded. The two exchanged a glance and when they were about to contemplate it they heard a voice from behind them, "Seems like the Daemon Lord cannot sit still anymore."

The person appearing behind them was Laohu Bai. Yang Dao asked, "Big Sister Bai, who is this Daemon Lord?"

Laohu Bai said, "A person who has integrated the Void in himself. His strength can compete with the great Dao, however, he is imbalanced in his mind. The first Daemon ever."

Dao Yin asked, "What is his name?"

Laohu Bai said, "No one knows, Daemons do not have names, he just has a designation among them. What we know about him is that he is not any different than a normal human, he is capable of emotions, and has a biological family."

Yang Dao was surprised and asked, "But Daemons cannot reproduce, was that not the prohibition?"

Laohu Bai said, "He can create his offspring by using his blood. Cloning is a proper term."

The dao children had a solemn expression at this moment. They were not surprised after gaining back their memories. However, they could guess what will happen to the immortal plane if this creature was allowed to spread his net everywhere.

Laohu Bai said, "We still have time to beat this thing up. Come on. We need to help the people resettle."

The two nodded and followed her in silence. Suddenly, a glittering gust blew and Ushi stood in front of Yang Dao's nose. She held the nose and said, "Meanie master, how are you going to make up to me. Answer me or I will complain to someone."

Yang Dao chuckled and said, "Yes, I will give you handmade candy when we get back home."

Ushi snorted and said, "If you did not, then I will shave your head." with that said she dived inside the shawl of his hair.

Dao Yin smiled and said, "The spirit of the wind."

The two came back to the palace, and all the spirit beings they had released were gathered by their sides now. The people in the palace would give them a way and kneel down to express their gratitude. The young girl, who was said to be the only survivor of the domain lord family, knelt and knocked her head in their direction, nine times.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin did not say much, they just waved their hands to use the wind to lift them up. The young man said, "This freedom and life could only be protected because of your people. Those who gave their lives before we could arrive and those who did not shrug away from the responsibility of protecting those weaker than them. Please raise your heads."

Dao Yin nodded and said, "Please raise your heads."

The people stood up and the girl said, "I cannot thank you enough. Please tell us if we can do anything for you in return."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin looked at Laohu Bai, who pretended to look at the scenery. The couple sighed and Dao Yin said, "If you wish to do anything for us, then please stand up and get stronger. Do your best to reach a level where you can stand for not only yourself but the people around you, people who need help."

Yang Dao nodded to her words. Laohu Bai said, "Shen, you should relax. You will need a lot of energy to build this world from scratch."

Shen nodded and said, "Thank you, senior. I will do my best."

Laohu Bai nodded and with a wave of her hand a portal opened and the three people went inside. They went back to the holy land. Yang Dao asked, "Why did you not open the portal when we came here but used the teleportation hall?"

Laohu Bai said, "That is because of the restrictions. One can only get out of the holy land when they use the teleportation arrays, however, to go back, you need to be either an elder or the instructor. I am the chief instructor. It works like this, the teleportation arrays are like a door you can use to drop you randomly close to your destination. However, they are so random that they cannot pick you back up."

Dao Yin clicked her tongue and said, "This system is messed up. No matter how you put it."

Laohu Bai wanted to hide away at this moment. She could not just tell them that one time when she was angry she kicked the core formation plate which changed the rules of entering and exiting the holy land.

So embarrassing, that dusted, the people went back to the holy land. Yang Dao got busy with his spirit beings, and Dao Yin was the same. Laohu Bai came to her pavilion and Zen asked, "What happened?"

She has never seen the white tiger blush. Laohu Bai said, "Nothing happened, what can happen?"

Zen pinched her chin and said, "Let me guess, Ummm, did they ask you about something you could not admit?"

Laohu Bai subconsciously nodded but then shook her head like a rattle. Zen chuckled and said, "Oh, so it is the doorway system."

That was the only thing Laohu Bai had twisted in this place. Looking at the tomato sitting in front of her. Zen said, "Do not worry, I will fix it for you."

Laohu Bai raised her head and asked with squinted eyes, "Zen, you are my best friend. You are the best sister."

Zen gave Laohu Bai a stink glare and said, "Have some dignity, also, nothing is for free."

Laohu Bai asked in an indifferent tone, "What do you want?"

"I will be taking the two children to Shelter Celestial Empire for the upcoming trip. You are to stay here." stated Zen.

Laohu Bai opened her eyes wide and then grit her teeth. Zen was standing in front of her with a smug expression. When the holy lands were created, Zen was the one to arrange the formation plates, these plates carried the rules of how things will be inside the holy lands. Only she was able to fix them.

If Laohu Bai was to refuse, then she will be mocked by the two masters. She did not mind it, but the others will grill her. Just when she was getting anxious, Zen said in her oriole-like voice, "Nothing lost, nothing gained. You do know that, right?"

Laohu Bai stood up and with a snort, she said, "Do as you wish, meanie Zen."

Zen chuckled and said, "I thought I was your best sister."

"You are the same as sister Yun, meanie." then with a scoff she left the pavilion.

Zen covered her mouth and laughed at her. Laohu Bai would act like a child when she was at peace. She had just played a song for the two masters and they had unlocked their true selves, of course, she was happy and peaceful.

Days passed and Zen restored the formation plates hidden in the pillar of the four holy beasts. Yang Dao and Dao Yin were cultivating and comprehending the different laws of Dao. They had not been in touch with the laws in a long time so they needed to brush off the dust.

The laws will empower their elemental control and powers. Zen did not come to find them so quickly. She waited patiently. Finally, after a week, the two people left their seclusion. They raided the kitchen and began to cook.

Zen came to find them and stopped after smelling the delicious aroma of the food. Yang Dao opened the door and beckoned her inside. He gave her a bowl full of noodles, and asked, "Any special reasons that bought you here?"

Zen nodded and when she wanted to speak, Dao Yin said, "We can talk after you finish eating, Sister Zen."

Zen chowed down on the food like nothing else. Ushi watched her and said, "She reminds me of your friend master, Icarus was it?"

Yang Dao smiled and said, "I wonder, how they are doing. After things settle here, we should take a vacation there."

Ushi nodded. All this communication was happening mentally. As the two were reminiscing about their past. Zen finished her food and she said, "We are going on a trip to the Shelter Celestial Empire. Get ready."

The two people were surprised. Zen explained, "The emperor needs to be healed. While there is a rebellion going on in the capital. The prince is the culprit and has fallen into the dark ways. So, try and salvage him if you can. Also, think of it as an experience."

The two people nodded, they finished eating and stood up. Soon, Zen waved her hand and a space portal was opened. She looked at the surprised reaction and said, "We fixed the rules."

The people nodded and then they stepped into the space portal. The scenery in front of them was shocking. It looked as if they have stepped into a fairy tale. (Wait they are a fairy tale)
