Starting from the Dragon Tribe
Final words
Saw it.
When I wrote the last three words that completed the book, I felt an unreal feeling.
To be honest, I was a little reluctant to part with it.
I didn't expect this book to be so long at first, but it felt too short at the end.
As for the final chapter, it actually seemed like there were some foreshadowings that I wanted to tie together, but I didn’t pick them up after final consideration.
In fact, the Ancestor of All Tribulations should also have a story that tells the relationship between the Sea of World and the Continent of All Tribulations. Only by explaining the origin of everything clearly can it reach the final conclusion.
But then Xiang thought about it, and maybe it doesn’t need to be that complicated. This book may have a few in-depth short stories, but the main theme is just a story about a cute reckless man who travels through the world and reaches a perfect ending with his friends.
When the story reaches the end, there are actually many unconventional and profound endings to choose from, but after much thought, I chose the most conventional and direct way to achieve the perfect ending.
Because I remembered the original intention of writing this book. I did not want to tell any profound story, nor did I want to explore the deep philosophy of human nature. I just hoped to make up for the regrets and hope to have a happy and happy ending.
It’s vulgar, I admit it.
But when I think of Lu Chen's last family sitting by a lake in a certain world, admiring the scenery, with birds fluttering across the lake, and the breeze ruffling their hair, I feel that it's not so vulgar, and there's nothing wrong with it.
As Lu Chen said when he traveled around the world, maybe this is the best.
At the end of the story, it seems that many supporting characters were killed, but Lu Chen's behavior almost directly 'hinted' that these people were not dead. In fact, it is emotionally conflicting from the reading point of view.
Maybe some brothers will think that since those people won't die anyway, isn't it unnecessary to write about them fighting hard?
But Xiang felt that it would be too perfunctory if he didn't explain anything and went straight to the finale and let Lu Chen hack all his opponents to death, and it would also make the struggle of the ancestors of past generations look cheap.
Yes, maybe they will be resurrected, or they may not die at all, but they are determined to defend their homeland with death, and I think this determination is a brilliance of human nature and should be written about.
Instead of simply saying that certain people died, the final ending said that XXX was resurrected.
As Lu Chen said, it highlights the disrespect for life. I don't want the final glory of those important supporting characters to be perfunctory, so I gave some words.
Lu Chen's final victory was by no means his alone. Without the fierce battles of the past generations and the hard work of his friends of the same generation, he would not have had time to reach the final state, so Xiang focused on portraying the supporting characters in the last chapter.
Another question that I thought about when writing the ending was whether to resurrect those strong men who died in the battlefields outside the boundary. Originally, I didn’t want to write about resurrecting those people, because it would feel like playing house after being a member of the group. The ancestors' determination to fight to the death became a bit strange.
But then I thought about it, and not all strong people died on the battlefield with noble determination without regrets after experiencing a wonderful enough life. Those strong people who were coerced by the general trend and had regrets and nostalgia for the world There are also many people, and it is unfair for them to be involved in this war caused by irrationality beyond common sense.
There are very few people with high consciousness. There is nothing wrong with wanting to live. If they desire a new life, they should also have this power. Therefore, Lu Chen will ask. He has not revived all the people in this ancient and modern war without distinction. The strong person only revives the part that wants to return.
In general, the dead should be respected, and it is not shameful to hope to live. The choice does not belong to Lu Chen, but to those strong people. This is the greatest respect that I think Lu Chen can give to the ancestors.
Some people also ask me why the source of all calamities is absolute evil. Does this thing have any meaning?
If I must say it, the source of all calamities also has a metaphor. The 'evil' that has existed from ancient times to the present, and which generations of heroes have fought against, and ordinary people are also fighting against, is the source of all calamities. Of course, what this thing is is a matter of opinion.
Now that I’ve finished talking about the final chapter of this book, let’s talk about other things.
In fact, as an infinite flow novel, this book is obviously different because each copy of it is too long. This is related to Xiang's writing style and limitations of writing power.
Many brothers may think that Xiang is studying hydrology, which is why he has such a word count. However, after finishing the book, Xiang is also reflecting on whether Xiang is really studying hydrology.
The answer is not sure, because the elephant has no hydrological meaning subjectively, but the outline is placed there, and sometimes it expands as I write. And because there are too many words updated every day, there may be some extra words inadvertently. Unnecessary padding.
In the final analysis, it is inevitable that quantity is guaranteed but quality is not guaranteed, but Xiang believes that he is still telling stories well.
Later in the story, Xiang actually had a plan for another world, but it was eventually cancelled.
On the one hand, this is because the book has been written long enough, and Lu Chen's combat power is already very high. With his previous growth rate, it seems that there is no problem in rushing directly into the finale. If he has one more world to experience, it will be more powerful. It doesn’t feel invincible enough, which means it doesn’t feel exciting enough.
On the other hand, it is because Xiang is indeed impetuous, and maybe the reading brother Meng is also the same. After all, a book is so long, and after two years of chasing it, many brothers may just want to know the ending in the end, which can be regarded as a kind of belief. In support.
As early as the second time I entered the hometown world, the author discussed with me that actually based on the outline of this book, it can be written to more than 10 million words. Anyway, the data is not too bad, why not go to more How about writing something to eat?
Of course I want to do something like this, but I have been writing this book for a long time, and it is really emotional. Except for the new coronavirus disease and the heavy rain in Zhengzhou for two consecutive years, Xiang has not stopped updating it. I insist on it almost every day. To be honest, sometimes The dream was all about Lu Chen.
I have been writing this book for a long time, and I am confused, but I also feel that this book is like my own child, and I should treat it with care.
Therefore, the meaningless routines extend the length, and it seems that it is not what you want to do, and the ending will be the ending, and everything will be more enjoyable.
As a fledgling author, of course there are many shortcomings in writing this book, but persisting in finishing it and bringing it to a successful conclusion, I think, is also a kind of ethics and responsibility for my own book.
I have also grown a lot in the process of writing this book. I will summarize the good parts and reflect on the bad parts. I hope to write better works in the future.
All in all, "Starting from the Dragon Clan and Across the World" is a work with many shortcomings, but it can still bring happiness to everyone. It is officially finished today.
Someone asked me what idea I wanted to convey in this book, but it is actually as simple as what I wrote at the end of the book.
I just hope that everyone can firmly believe that there is always good things waiting for you on the road ahead, and don’t be defeated when facing despair and difficulties. We don’t have the strength like Lu Chen, but we can have that kind of courage and perseverance.
I wish all book friends can live a happy life and find their own beauty on the road ahead.
Here, Xiang once again thanks all the book friends who have always supported this book. It is your support and reading that gives Xiang thousands of motivation every day.
Two years and eight million words, I persisted because of the faith you gave me.
Thanks brothers (^o^)/
Finally, let’s talk about the extra story and the new book.
As for the extras, they will be updated from time to time in the future. Most of them are about daily life and the funeral affairs of the Lu family who are pretending to be cool in space (local dog warning (ω))
If you want to see whose extra chapter you want to see, and the general direction of the content, you can leave a message in this paragraph and this chapter. I think we will give priority to those with the most likes.
Oh, of course, no one is just thinking about the extras in More Complete Skirts, right? No way, right?
As for the new book, I think I already have several ideas, which I have been imagining while writing this book, and I have been wanting to write it for a long time.
It is very likely that it will still be infinitely streamed, but it will be written in the form of a short copy, and the style may be similar to Thriller Park (maybe?).
As for the background, I want to set it in modern society (definitely not the earth!), um, because Xiang found out that he quite likes to write about the dragon world view, an organization like Kassel Academy, and there may be one in the new book.
The combination of urban and super power weirdness seems to be Xiang's strength. After all, most book friends may also think that Xiang writes the best chapter on the Dragon Clan.
The dungeon combines various historical weird legends from reality, and it feels cool to imagine the protagonist walking through the city and hunting extraordinary creatures, so a new idea was born.
As for the female protagonist, there should be no female protagonist or single female protagonist, well, mainly because I can’t write a harem.
Of course, the plan for the new book is still under consideration. Maybe this paragraph is just Xiang's random thoughts, and I will definitely have to take a break before starting to write.
After all, my body has been in poor condition since the COVID-19, my waist is not good, and my lungs are not good (coughing all the time). I need to take good care of myself for a while. During this time, I also read a lot of books and various movies to recharge and find inspiration.
After the new book is released, we will inform everyone in the group as soon as possible. If you are satisfied with the book, you may wish to support it again.
Finally, I would like to thank many book friends again for their continued support.
I wish every handsome and beautiful girl (except Susu, do I really have female readers?) be happy every day, everything goes well, be healthy, and all your dreams come true!
