windy woman

Chapter 15

"Where are we going?" I asked suspiciously.

"An airport."

"Aren't you going to Seattle again?" Last time Han Tang took me to Seattle to watch a musical on a whim in the middle of the night, but I don't know what to play this time.

He laughed. "No, Maggie, we're going after Dawn." He turned to look at me, and the navigation system told him to turn right. He stopped in front of a large white building marked Herlong Airport.

gliding! Are we going to go paragliding?

He turns off the engine.

"Ready?" Han Tang asked gently.

"Are you coming to fly the plane?"

"Correct."

"Ready." I said without hesitation.

He smiled, bent down and gave me a quick kiss.

"Another first time." He said, opened the car door and walked out.

He walked around the car and opened the door for me.The sky seemed opal, glowing softly behind childlike clouds.Sunshine hangs high in the sky.Holding my hand, Han Tang led me to the apron next to the building, where some planes were parked.Waiting there was a well-groomed man with wild eyes, and...Taylor.

Taylor!Did Han Tang take him everywhere?I cast a glance at Han Tang, who was smiling gently at me.

"Mr. Han, this is your driving assistant, Mr. Mark Benson." Taylor said.Han Tang and Benson shook hands, and then chatted for a while, which sounded very professional, about wind speed, direction and environment.

"Hi Taylor."

"Miss Xia." He nodded politely to me.

"Maggie," Han Tang called me, "come here." He held out his hand to me.

"See you later." I smiled at Taylor, who waved to me and walked to the parking lot.

"Benson, this is my girlfriend Xia Qingyou."

"Nice to meet you." We shook hands. Benson gave me a charming smile.

"Me too."

Holding Han Tang's hand, I felt myself gradually getting excited.Whoa... gliding! We follow Mark Benson to the runway. He and Han Tang have been talking, and I understand the gist.We are going to take the Blanik L-23, which is obviously safer than the L-13. Benson would drive the PiperPawnee. He has been flying a glider for four years... These conversations are meaningless to me, but just looking at Han Tang like this, I am so excited, I want to fly!

The body is long and slender, pure white with orange stripes. The cockpit is small enough to accommodate two people, one in front and one behind. The plane was attached to a small single-propeller plane by a long white rope. Benson opened the glass dome on the cockpit for us and let us climb in.

"You're going to use this," he said, handing me a heavy cushion.

I frowned. "What is this for?

Han Tang said, "This is to increase the weight, because you are obviously lighter than 150 pounds."

"Oh."

"Climb in." Han Tang ordered.Domineering guy.

I want to climb into the back seat.

"No, sit in the front. The driver sits in the back."

"Oh...but then you can't see it."

"I'll see." He smiled at me.Although domineering, but very happy.

I got into the cockpit and sat on the heavy seat, which was quite comfortable.Han Tang leaned over and tied all kinds of safety gear all over my body, tightening every buckle.

"It's locked, so I can't run away. Umm... You are wild like this." He whispered, and kissed me quickly, "It won't be long, 20 to 30 minutes at most. The sky is beautiful at this time It's heart-palpiating. Are you happy?"

"Excited." I smiled at him.Why do I keep giggling?

"Fine." He smiled too, touched my face, and walked away.I could hear him crawl into the back seat.He strapped me so tight I couldn't even move to look back at him... We were so close to the ground. In front of it is the instrument panel and joystick.

Mark Benson came over, with a smile on his face, and checked my protective gear.

"First time flying?" he asked.

"Correct."

"You'll love it."

"Thank you, Mr. Benson."

"Call me Mark." He turned to Han Tang. "Okay?"

"Well, let's take off."

I'm so glad I didn't eat anything, I'm crazy with excitement.Once again, I gave myself completely into the hands of this man. Mark puts the glass dome back on, walks to the front plane, and climbs inside.

The single propeller plane took off and my heart was in my throat.God, I really want to paragliding. Mark walked slowly down the runway and when the ropes tightened we suddenly moved...and we took off.I can hear the call from the tower behind me, it should be Mark talking to the tower, but I can't hear what he is saying. Mark was picking up speed, and we were getting faster and faster. The turbulence was severe and the plane in front was still on the runway.Wow, my heart popped out of my mouth and fell to the ground - we were in heaven.

"Maggie, we're taking off!" Tang Han yelled at me from behind.

Wandering in the sky, just me and him.I could hear the whirring wind coming from the front propeller, and I gripped the seat so hard my wrists turned white. We're heading west, away from the sun, higher and higher, over fields and villages... oh.What a nice view.Above us, there is only the sky.The lighting is perfect, with warm colours. When dawn broke, I was in it... together with Han Tang.

We flew higher and higher, and the ground became farther and farther away. The sky is so peaceful.I totally understand why he would like to hang gliding. He can get away from his BlackBerry, and everything else.

The voice from the control tower sounded again, and Mark said that we flew to 3000 feet.Damn, it sounds like it's high... I can barely see anything on the ground.

"Let's play." I heard Han Tang say into the intercom.Suddenly, the front plane disappeared, and the ropes holding us were gone, and we started to glide... which was great. Our plane turned around and flew in the direction of the sun.

halo, halo, halo, God... so beautiful... I'm flying towards the sun, he's with me, he's carrying me.I take a deep breath. We flew and flew, and the sky in the morning was extraordinarily magnificent.

"Hold on!" he yelled, and we descended suddenly, the whole plane flipped over, and I was head down, looking through the glass at the ground.I screamed, my arms flailed involuntarily... and he laughed.Asshole...but his smile was so contagious that I couldn't help laughing too as he straightened the plane.

"I'm glad I didn't have breakfast," I yelled at him.

"Yes, from this point of view, you are right not to eat, because I have to do it again."

He turned the plane over again, and this time I was ready.I relaxed and giggled like a fool. After a while he straightened the plane again.

"Is it exciting?" he asked me.

"Stimulate."

"I want to drive, I want to learn!"

"I knew you liked excitement. Master Ben will teach you personally today."

We continued to fly, drawing a bright arc in the sky.Oh... the peaceful morning and the gentle sound of the wind. What can my husband ask for?

"See that joystick in front of you?" he called again.

I stare at the joystick that moves from time to time between my legs.

"hold onto."

Wow, he wants me to drive...!

I hold it, this should be used to adjust the pitch and heading...

"Hold tight, keep it steady. See the dashboard in front? Keep the needle in the middle."

My heart hung in my throat again.God, I'm flying a glider.Whoa, I flew!

"Great." Han Tang sounded very happy.

"I can fly a plane," I yelled back at him.

"You'll be even more surprised what I'll let you do later. Pay me back now."

The joystick suddenly moved, I let go, and we descended a long way.The ground is getting closer and closer, as if it is about to hit it.

Wow, so cool and enjoyable. ?
