Daisy didn't really want to see it.

She remembered that she had left her father in the hall, and she wanted to go back and feed her old father with a new lollipop.

But little Harry had his own ideas, and wanted to put them into action.

"I'm going to warn Lin not to hurt the professor again." The little boy said, "otherwise she will face the anger of the whole school, and none of us will let her go."

"You can't fight." Daisy said, "OK?"

"I'm too lazy to fight with her." Little Harry said angrily.

Since Daisy didn't want to go with her, he swooped across the corner and single-handedly settled with "Lin" who dared to hurt Mr. Xavier.

Daisy floated in mid-air with nothing to rely on, poking her head in the direction where little Harry left. On the way, there were two big girls passing by the corridor with books in their arms. She shrank her neck shyly, and flew back to the hall to find her father.

Daisy's memory is good, and she recognizes the way very accurately. She turned around and saw Tony still talking to Alex.

"father!"

Tuanzi smiled and threw himself into Tony's arms, with sweat dripping on his forehead, he held up a lollipop and said, "This is for you."

Tony took Daisy's candy, looked behind her, and asked, "Where's that kid you were playing with?"

"He's looking for Lin." Daisy said.

She enthusiastically used her little fingers to help her father remove the transparent plastic wrapper on the lollipops, but unexpectedly, Alex, who was on the side, changed his expression instantly when he heard this.

"Harry went to find Lin?!" Alex squeezed the drink can, as if he had seen someone pierce the sky with his own eyes, and hurriedly asked, "When?"

It seems that if a child is disobedient, nine times out of ten it will cause trouble.

"Just now." Tuanzi was taken aback and told the truth quickly.

"Can't go into Lynn's room right now—" Alex turned and ran, calling, "Professor!"

Even if Tony didn't use his intuition, he knew something was wrong just by looking at Alex's reaction. He hugged his daughter who was in a daze and didn't forget to unwrap the candy wrappers, and followed Alex away.

Lin's room is at the end of the corridor.

When the two adults arrived, little Harry screamed and jumped out of the open door. Seeing Alex who came to rescue him, Harry whined, "There's a lion!"

Daisy was placed by her father at the corner of the corridor not far away.

She obediently obeyed the adults, and did not get close to danger. She was leaning against the wall to see how bad Lin was, and when she heard the shout, she stretched her neck even longer.

Charles Xavier secretly kept lions at school.

Accompanied by little Harry's shout, a beautiful white lion really jumped out from behind the door.

Beautiful is beautiful, but the white lion was disturbed and was slowly bowing in defense at the moment. Every skin on its body was tightened. Its big eyes were fixed on the intruding little Harry, and its fangs were sticking out, looking very fierce.

Little Harry was still shocked, and quickly hid behind Alex. In just a few seconds, the white lion had already prostrated on the ground with its fingers and claws, and was almost about to pounce.

In the nick of time, Alex yelled, "Lin!"

He sounded like a spell to fix the body, and then he saw the white lion's jumping movement froze in place, and the light in his eyes faded away.

Daisy, who was leaning against the wall, was the first to hear the sound of chair wheels turning behind her, and when she turned her head to see, it was Charles who rushed over anxiously.

The two fingers of his right hand rested on the temple on the side of his head, apparently using his thoughts to block the movement of the white lion, in order to avoid an unnecessary injury.

Little Harry is going to be scolded now.

"Harry shouldn't have come," Charles said.

When he saw Daisy with wide eyes wide open, he comforted him softly, "Don't be afraid, no one will be hurt."

"The lion has come out." Daisy told the professor, pointing to the front.

"Okay." The anxious look on Charles' face eased a bit, the wheelchair drove past the baby without stopping, "Just stay here and don't run around, okay?"

Daisy was still standing there.

Charles rushed to the crowd, and before he let go, the white lion kept up that uncomfortable and difficult movement.

This lion looks beautiful at first glance, but it is actually very thin. There are many shocking wounds hidden under the fur that flew up because of the big movement. Most of the wounds are scabbed, and they look like dark red centipedes.

"Professor!" Seeing the headmaster arriving, little Harry lowered his head in a low voice, sticking his toes together.

"I said before, you can't go near Lin's room without my permission." Charles shook his head, "Do you remember, Harry?"

"I remember," Harry said.

At this time, he felt remorse for what he had done wrong, took out a handkerchief from his pocket, and silently wiped away his tears.

"Lin certainly doesn't want her appearance to scare you." Charles didn't blame the five-year-old child too much, "You have to give her enough time."

Tony heard the clue from the side.

He stood beside Alex and asked in a low voice, "Is this the 'little girl' you said?"

Alex stroked his forehead: "She doesn't usually look like this, she only turns into a lion when she gets angry."

"Lin's mutant ability is veterinary, and she can't control it very well, especially when she is emotional." He sighed, "Her parents were lost, and she was sold on the black market. She couldn't be resold because of her injuries. There were a lot of fights, and no one was trusted."

"It's not her fault."

Tony fell silent.

Charles moved slowly to Lin.

He was about to withdraw his mind control over Lin, but Alex noticed it and hurriedly stopped him: "Professor! Let me lock her into the room first..."

"Then she'll be even angrier," Charles said.

He gently lowered the hand that was resting on his forehead, and stretched out to caress the top of the white lion's head. The tentacles were soft, as if brushing a gentle wave.

The white lion quickly came back to his senses, swayed unsteadily, almost fell backwards, and then found that there was an extra person in front of him, baring his fangs, even more ferocious.

"Harry wants to apologize to you." Charles said, "He didn't mean to break into your room, he didn't know you were resting."

If the communication was effective, there would be no need for such a scar or two on his arm.

The white lion flicked its tail violently, jumped up again, and was about to pounce on Harry, who was behind Charles on the left. As if he had anticipated her movement, he manipulated the wheelchair to one side, and the claws that caught the wind almost knocked him out. He was caught.

A ten-year-old girl, transformed into a white lion, is not small. If it is really a lion, she can hunt independently on the prairie, but if she wants to really slap Charles, the crispy professor may have to be sent to the hospital on the spot .

"Lin!" Alex said anxiously, "Are you still going to hurt the professor!"

He has been devastated by the injuries suffered by Professor X recently, and his hairline has moved back. I am afraid that he will go to the Mediterranean Sea before this matter is resolved.

I can forgive once or twice, but Lin's vigilance remains undiminished, and Charles seems to be a masochist, taking risks again and again.

Really balding.

Fortunately, Alex's yelling method worked this time. Lin failed to hit Charles, and didn't intend to hurt Charles any more. She backed away slowly, and the professor's pair of blue eyes were reflected in her pale pupils.

There was light in his eyes, but she didn't.

The white lion quickly rushed back to the room and closed the door vigorously.

Alex let out a sigh of relief and pulled the professor's wheelchair to his side: "It's really scary."

Charles waved his hand, signaling that he needn't be so afraid.

"I don't have as good a mental quality as you, Charles." Alex said.

Little Harry, who disturbed Lin, was soon dragged by Alex to read poetry silently in the library, and he was not allowed to come out until he finished reading a thick book.

The five-year-old boy used to laugh at Scott, who was often punished by the professor for copying, but now he may not be able to laugh anymore.

Daisy was carried by her father and walked down the corridor with the professor.

After Lin's door was closed, it never opened again, and there was no movement at all. If she hadn't seen her go in with her own eyes, she would have suspected that it was a room with no one in it.

"Is Lin a lion?" Tuanzi asked his father.

Tony looked down at her, and said, "She knows magic, and turns into a lion if she likes it. This is a secret and cannot be revealed."

Another secret is carried on the immature shoulders of a three-year-old child.

"Sorry, Mr. Stark." Charles said to Tony, "I just invited you over for lunch."

"I thought you were going to blame me for watching the fun." Tony raised his eyebrows.

"If Lin lives in a secretive way, it may be more difficult to integrate into school life. To be honest, I am very worried about her." Charles said.

Seeing that it was time for get out of class to end, the castle was full of children, running and laughing, but it was hard to talk, so the professor invited Stark and his daughter to go for a walk in the woods behind.

"Many of the trees planted by my grandfather have fallen over the years for various reasons." Charles laughed at himself, "but the canopies of the remaining trees are so large that the sun can't get in, but it's very shady."

Tony's doing as he pleases.

He said, "Alex looks worried about you, too."

As he spoke, he glanced at Charles's bandaged forearm.

Charles just laughed: "Lin is not a bad child. She can tell right from wrong, but no one has ever given her a sense of security. More often, she doesn't know how to express her emotions."

He raised his hand and said to Tony: "She scratches me occasionally, but the strength is actually very small, the wound is very shallow, and it will heal quickly. I just..."

Charles put down his hand, and lowered his eyes by the way, looking at the sparse light and shadows falling on his legs, which were faint and floating slightly, looking stubborn, but actually very fragile.

"I just hope to get a chance to hear her speak." He said, "She is always reluctant to speak."

Looking at the two grown-ups walking into the woods from the castle, they regarded the grown-ups as little people, not much bigger than a grain of rice.

The window of Lin's room in the farthest corner was originally drawn with heavy curtains, preventing light from entering.

Then I heard a small "crash", and the curtains opened in response. Standing by the window and looking out, it was a thin and white girl.

She is really white, from hair to skin, like unmelted snow.

The scabbed wound was even more shocking.

Lin pressed her forehead against the window.

Her gaze followed Charles in the wheelchair into the woods, until she could no longer see the professor, she slowly retracted her gaze, and looked down at her hands.

The shock and anger caused by Harry's interruption had dissipated. She remembered Charles' gesture of showing his injured arm to Tony, and she didn't know what to think. .

"Charles." She chewed a few words in a low voice, as if her pronunciation was difficult, "Charles Xavier."
