[HP] The Last Demon King

Chapter 96 Showing Integrity

In the office filled with pink, a dark green flame was burning in the fireplace. On the flame was a clear human face, a gentle but confused human face.

"Dolores, do you have something urgent to tell me? Could it be Dumbledore..."

"No... what I want to tell you is another matter..." Umbridge looked around cautiously, lowered his voice and said, "I'm taking great risks to tell you this, you must Help me, Connelly..."

"What makes you so nervous?" Connelly in the fire frowned.

"It's the girl from Selwyn..."

Umbridge hadn't finished speaking when suddenly the green flame in the fireplace flickered and dimmed.

"Dolores, what's going on with you?"

"It seems that the floo powder has been burned..." Umbridge felt nervous. She looked at the ashes in the fireplace suspiciously, then got up and grabbed a handful of floo powder from the box on the fireplace. It was about to be thrown into the fireplace, but the green flame was completely extinguished.

There were two light knocks on the door, and Umbridge tensed her nerves and turned around to look, and at that moment, all the powder in her hand fell out of fear, whitening her pink sheepskin high heels.

"Good afternoon, Headmaster."

Eridins closed the office door with a calm smile.

"You...why are you here?" Umbridge said to Eredinth with forced composure.

Eridins leaned against Umbridge's desk, looking calm.

"I thought the headmaster wanted to see Alisa. Could it be that I guessed wrong?"

Umbridge froze for a moment, and completely let go of the Floo powder. The remaining powder scattered all over her, but Umbridge didn't notice it at all.

"Would you like me to see Alicia?! Where is she—?!" she yelled.

Eridins raised her index finger to her lips, and gave Umbridge a hush motion, with a hint of impatience in her expression, her curly black hair fell from her shoulders and fell down on her chest.

"I want you to see Alisa, but there is one small request."

"What request?" Umbridge asked urgently.

Eridins snapped her fingers lightly, and Umbridge's office was pushed away again, and a thin boy walked in with a mirror and bowed his head.

Umbridge was startled and angry when she saw him clearly. She forgot her position for a moment, and pointed angrily at the boy who came in: "Ledger—how dare you—!"

Before she finished speaking, a few flashes of lightning flashed on her outstretched fingers. Umbridge let out a cry of pain, and drew his hands back to cover his chest.

Eridins looked at her coldly, and Umbridge gritted his teeth to suppress the resentment in his eyes.

Ledger lowered his head and was about to put the double-sided mirror on the table, but Eridins raised her hand to stop him: "Take the mirror and stand over there." She glanced at Umbridge with a smile on her lips, Umbridge suddenly had a bad premonition: "...It's also convenient for our principal to watch."

"Dear headmaster, do you remember that I said there was a request?" Eridins' wand tapped lightly on the edge of the desk, making a rhythmic tapping sound.

"What do you want me to do?" Umbridge looked at her with disgust and defense.

"It's very simple," Eridins glanced at the double-sided mirror in Ledger's hand, "You can see it, just kneel down."

Umbridge's toad-like bulging eyes widened in anger for a moment.

"I don't want to? I don't want to be difficult, so forget it." Eridins stood up straight from the desk, and was about to let Ledger leave with the double-sided mirror, when Umbridge immediately shouted: "I Yes, I will!"

As if afraid that Ledger would leave, Umbridge immediately knelt down.

Eridins looked at her coldly, and wrote, "Give me the wand."

Umbridge showed obvious resistance to the order, expressing her resistance by clutching her wand tightly.

"Don't you want to see your daughter, Headmaster?" Eridins straightened up, and she saw Umbridge tense up.

Aridins left her desk and walked towards Umbridge, "I'll return your wand after you've seen your daughter, so what are you worried about?"

Umbridge gritted his teeth and took out the wand from his sleeve robe.

"Very good." Eridins smiled, and instead of reaching for it, she moved it to Ledger's hand with a levitating spell.

Ignoring Umbridge's resentful gaze, she nodded to Ledger.

Ledger withdrew his gaze from Umbridge. He lowered his head and looked at the double-sided mirror in his hand. His long black hair fell down to cover his eyes, and a smooth and cold cry came out of his mouth: "Alyssa , Alisa..."

The double-sided mirror naturally has two sides. The one in Ledger's hand belongs to Eridins herself, and the other side is what she asked for from Arnold, and it is now placed in the place where Alisa is imprisoned.

The two-way mirror in Ledger's hand flashed a white light, and first there was a scream, and then a scene: a blue curved stone wall, dim light, and a pink fleshy man tied to a rope hanging from above. After looking carefully, I found that it was an obese girl who was about to faint from fear, her face covered with tears.

Below the girl, there is a weird and terrifying gray-white big snake. The thickest part of its body is seven or eight inches. The cold-blooded and cruel snake has red eyes. Like a girl, staring eeriely above.

Umbridge hardly had time to wonder what kind of strange snake this was, her mind was already completely occupied by her weeping daughter.

"What do you want to do to Alisa?! You promised me not to hurt Alisa!" Umbridge shrieked, looking almost mad.

"Did you forget, Headmaster. I said 'If you try to ask the Ministry or someone else for help, I won't send you a barrette, but a lovely hand'."

Umbridge's back slumped limply, and now she seemed to be kneeling limply on the ground.

She stared blankly at Eridins, "How did you know...how could it be so fast..."

Aridins would not tell her that she had her own rune on her fireplace, the sound of the wand hitting the edge of the desk stopped, and the smile on her face disappeared, leaving only apathetic grimness, "Now it is It's time for me to show my integrity."

Umbridge panicked, she seemed to get up, but then remembered that Aridins had made her kneel on the ground, so she knelt and moved a few steps to grab Aridins, but Aridens avoided her. Opened her outstretched fat palm.

"I didn't say anything at all! You can't do that to my daughter!" Umbridge's face was full of horror.

"Really? How did I hear you mention me to the Minister of Magic?" Aridins sat down on the raised armchair a little beside Ledger.

Umbridge froze for a moment, then said at once, "I can't do it anymore, forgive me—forgive me! Don't hurt Alisa, please—!"

Eridins looked at her indifferently: "Principal, are you teaching me to be a dishonest person?"

She raised her left forearm, and Ledger immediately said to the mirror, "Let's get started."

The girl's screams and cries suddenly became more intense, and the rope that hung her began to descend slowly, and the gray-white snake underneath stopped swimming, and stood upright to stare at Alisa.

"Please—don't hurt Alisa, don't hurt her—punish me, take my palm—! It's none of her business, don't hurt her—!" Umbridge's tears flowed from her Her swollen eyes came out, and she tried to move to Eredines again, but Eredins held out her wand to stop her.

"Didn't you think about the consequences when you made up your mind to inform Fudge?" She looked at Umbridge with an untimely faint smile.

"Please don't hurt Alyssa, I'd do anything! Take my palm! Please—I promise never to do it again, let Alyssa go—"

Eridins looked at Umbridge who kept begging her without dignity, "Are you willing to be punished instead of Alisa?"

"Yes, punish me - let her go, she's only ten, please -" cried Umbridge, breaking down in tears.

After looking at her for a few seconds, Eridins said, "Stop."

Ledger immediately carried out her order: "Stop."

I don't know who is controlling the opposite side, the descending rope stopped immediately.

Umbridge seemed to have lost all his strength, and could no longer hold on and sat slumped on the ground, only tears still pouring tirelessly from his eyes.

"Hold out your hand." Eridins looked at her calmly.

Very slowly, Umbridge extended her trembling left hand bit by bit.

A flash of white light flashed, and Umbridge screamed. Her fat palm fell to the ground, and a fracture the size of a bowl appeared on her wrist, and blood was gushing out fiercely.

Two bottles of dark liquid rolled down in front of Umbridge, who was screaming while clutching her wrists. She looked up with cold sweat on her face, and saw Eridins saying, "Bone water and rebirth water don't need me. teach you how to use it?"

Umbridge picked up one of the bottles with difficulty with his other hand that was shaking with pain, bit the cap off with his teeth, and eagerly drank it down.

"Shut it off," Eridins said to Ledger, who cut off the two-way mirror, took a step back with the mirror in his arms, and looked at Umbridge contemptuously, the way he deserved it.

"Before the palm grows out, you should know how to avoid people's eyes and ears, right?" Eridins looked at Umbridge who had already finished another bottle of potion, "My kindness is only once, I hope Don't make it a habit."

Umbridge was panting heavily, and he didn't even have the energy to speak.

"You rest for a while, then write a letter to Fudge, tell him your fireplace is broken, and you are looking for someone to fix it, and then tell him what you just said-Dumbledore wants everyone to think that I am Voldemort's daughter, but I didn't cooperate because I was a loyal supporter of the existing Minister for Magic... to reassure him, to make up for your mistakes—"

"Umbridge, you're a smart man—you know what to do." Eridins stood up, looked down at her, her expression indifferent: "This is your last chance with Alyssa, don't let I'm disappointed."
