[HP] The Last Demon King

Chapter 84 Arthur's Marriage

There was also Mr. Malfoy and six or seven Death Eaters in the hall, and they seemed to be discussing business just now.

Arnold and Arthur went up and knelt down to kiss Voldemort's robe in turn, and then walked down to stand beside the other Death Eaters. Eridins was hesitating, not knowing whether she would also go forward to express her respect so blatantly. At that moment, Voldemort spoke to her: "Come to the center, my daughter."

Aridins walked into the middle of the aisle, surrounded by Death Eaters on either side.

She took the lead in crawling down, "Father, I have some information to report to you, and I hope you will forgive me for my self-assertion."

"Oh, what is it?" Voldemort's body leaned back, his almost thin lips pursed into an arc.

"While at Hogwarts, I managed to get close to Harry Potter, and you can expect me to gain important information from him in the future."

The information Eridings has deduced so far shows that she must take the initiative to confess to Voldemort the fact that she had contacted Harry Potter. Thinking that she had contacted Potter in an ambiguous position many times under Voldemort's gaze, Eridings Si felt cold.

"So you haven't obtained valuable information now?" Voldemort's smile widened.

"Father, although Potter did not disclose important information to me, I have been trying to separate him from Dumbledore. I believe that in the future..."

Before Aritins could fully reveal her words in the air, Voldemort raised his wand at her: "Crucio!"

A piercing pain ran through Eridins' body, and her body twitched violently on the ground, like a shrimp bouncing on a frying pan.

A few seconds later, Voldemort raised his wand, and Eridins seemed to be sucked out of her whole body by a machine. Panting, she put her trembling arms on the ground and slowly raised her body.

"It is not good to lie, my daughter," whispered Voldemort from the dais, and no one in the hall dared to gasp aloud. "Especially to me."

"Harry Potter told you he was very close to his godfather, why didn't you tell me?" said Voldemort.

"Sorry, father, I thought it was not important." Eridins paled and looked straight at Voldemort: "I definitely didn't mean to hide from you on purpose. If it can help you, I am willing to do anything."

"It is up to me to decide whether it is worthwhile. All you have to do is tell me everything you know." Voldemort said coldly.

"Yes, father."

"Is there anything else you want to tell me?" said Voldemort.

Does he know about that?Eridins and Potter had veiled about Parseltongue, but did Voldemort know?Could he see Potter's every move 24 hours a day?Or, could he be viewing Potter's past memories directly through his mind?

"No, father." Eridins lowered her head to the ground and chose to take a gamble.

"Go back to your place," said Voldemort.

She won the bet—

Eridins stood up with a bit of strength and went back to Arnold.

"Arnold," Voldemort suddenly pointed out Arnold's name, and Eridins saw Arnold, who had been bowing his head, look up, "We just decided to attack Azkaban next month, and you can lead this operation ?"

Arthur eagerly said loudly: "Dark Lord, I am willing to share your worries!"

"Yes, of course you have to fight, Arthur." Voldemort said, Arthur looked at Voldemort with a face of honor, "but the leader of this operation is Arnold, will you obey your brother's arrangement?"

Arthur showed a hint of reluctance, but he replied immediately: "Yes, as long as you order, Dark Lord."

"Dark Lord, for this operation, I..." Before Mr. Malfoy could finish, Voldemort interrupted him: "No, Lucius, I have a more important matter that I need you to lead. I'm sure you won't let me down after the prisoner succeeds, right? This is the chance you've been begging to make up for."

Voldemort smiled cruelly: "Only once."

Mr. Malfoy paled for a moment. He seemed to want to speak, but Voldemort didn't give him the chance.

"Arthur, I heard that Arnold searched the genealogy of all pure-blood families in order to find you a good marriage?"

"Oh...yes..." said Arthur blankly, obviously wondering why Voldemort was suddenly talking about his marital problems.

"If you don't like what your brother introduces, how about I be your second match?" said Voldemort.

"Master—Arthur has already—" Arnold's face darkened, but before he could say a word, Arthur had already stood up excitedly: "My honor! My honor, master!"

The look in Arnold's eyes indicated that he wanted to tear the idiot out on the spot.

"Arnold, you don't look too happy." Voldemort rested his hand on his chin and looked at Arnold coldly.

"Master, you misunderstood. Because I have already made a verbal agreement with another family, I am worried that this sudden change will destroy the relationship between the two families."

"They'll understand. Tell them the matchmaker is the Dark Lord." Voldemort's red eyes turned to Arthur. "How about Bertha Bulstrode?"

"Bulstrode?" Arthur stared wide-eyed: "But...their family has always remained neutral?"

"Not anymore," said Voldemort, his red eyes seeming even redder at that moment, "since I visited them."

The Death Eaters laughed silently, and Voldemort continued, "I will arrange for you to meet sometime."

"Everything is at your disposal!" cried Arthur.

Voldemort smiled with satisfaction, and Arthur seemed proud of it, pushing his chest high.

After walking out of the mansion, Arnold didn't say a word, but his tightly clenched fists showed his inner emotions, and Arthur was still babbling and educating Eridins as if he didn't notice anything: " You should have told the Dark Lord before you came into contact with Harry Potter, the Dark Lord is far wiser than us, and he will tell you what is the right thing to do..."

When they returned to their own house, Anna was sitting in the living room waiting for them. Arnold strode towards her and asked softly, "Have you had dinner yet?"

Anna shook her head, and said in a cold voice from her pale and chapped lips: "I want to wait for you."

"Okay, come on, let's have dinner now." Arnold helped her up carefully, and Arthur said with a complicated expression on the side: "Now I finally know why your relationship has been so good."

"What?" As soon as Arnold's gaze turned to him, it turned into contempt.

"You are female compatriots!" Arthur looked like I had grasped the truth.

"Female compatriots?" Anna looked at Arthur with foolish eyes, and Arthur said, "Stop pretending! I already know that Arnold likes men!"

Anna looked at Arnold, and Arnold sighed at him and shook his head. The two didn't say anything, but Anna understood. She looked at Arthur with pity, and shook her head with Arnold.

"What? What do you mean!?" Although Arthur didn't know what they were thinking, he still obviously felt insulted.

"Let's go eat." Arnold ignored him and said softly to Anna. Anna nodded, and the two siblings ignored Arthur and walked towards the dining table.

"What do they mean?!" Arthur said angrily, turning his head to Eridins.
