Chapter 20 The Owl Room

Entering the owl room, as expected, Qiu saw Galois standing beside the white owl graciously.

"Look," she pointed at Galois, "that horned owl is mine, his name is Galois, and he is pursuing the white owl next to him recently."

Harry stared at the direction of her finger with wide eyes: "That white owl? That's my Hedwig, she's a snowy owl."

The two of them looked at each other, not knowing what to say for a while.

"So your owl is chasing my owl?" Harry asked.

"I think so." She nodded, feeling that her own owl was very discerning, and immediately fell in love with the best friend of the Savior boy.

"Well...but Hedwig..."

"What? Harry? Do you think my Galois is not good enough?" She began to clear the obstacle of 'father-in-law' for her owl: "He is very good at sending letters, and, look at his feathers, they are thick And smooth, he is definitely a super handsome guy in the owl, what else are you not satisfied with?"

"Uh..." Harry was still struggling.

"Don't even worry about your owl falling in love, Harry." She patted him on the shoulder: "Come say hello to Galois."

So Harry called Hedwig softly as he usually called Hedwig: "Galois."

Galois was holding a dying vole in his mouth. When he heard the call, he froze, frightened, and threw the vole away.

The vole didn't expect to be able to turn around before it died. Feeling the preciousness of life, it exploded with unlimited potential. It scurried out of the owl room and disappeared at the door.

The surrounding owls laughed cooingly, and some even flapped their wings a few times. Hedwig moved a few steps to the side, looking very disgusted.

"I think your owl is—perhaps a little silly?" Harry pointed out Galois's shortcomings mildly.

"Uh, I think, maybe, I've never called Galois so tenderly." Qiu said hesitantly, "You scared him, Harry."

After she finished speaking, she called out "Galois", just like her usual tone, very kind, but not gentle at all.

Galois looked left and right, obviously a little confused who his master was.

Hedwig poked her head in doubt, trying to figure out why her master went to the owl room to find another owl.

"We knocked them both out." She looked at the two silly owls rather amusedly.

"Hedwig." Following Harry's tone, she saw Hedwig flying towards her, landed firmly on her shoulder, and rubbed her head against her hair.

"So cute, your owl." She smoothed Hedwig's feathers with her hands.

"Hedwig is a nice girl." Harry said, looking at his owl. He tried to stroke Hedwig's head, but she pecked her.

Qiu beside him laughed gloatingly.

Galois flew down from the shelf and landed on Harry's shoulder. Harry looked at the rather robust-looking owl curiously.

He scratched Harry's face with his wings, making him laugh. "Your owl is very good, too."

"Don't let him fool you," she said. "He wakes me up at six every day this summer."

"why?"

"Because—because I was chasing him on a broomstick."

"Why are you chasing him on your broomstick?" Harry asked in surprise.

"Because he chased the goblins at home to play."

"Owls still chase goblins?"

"Maybe, just follow others and learn." Qiu said vaguely.

"So why are you chasing goblins at home?"

"To practice Quidditch. Why do you ask so many questions, Harry?" She felt that the topic could not continue.

"Okay, then I won't ask." Harry blinked his eyes, she thought it was so weird looking at her face and making that look to herself.

"Hey, Harry, hey, Cho, what are you doing here?" came two identical voices behind them, and they knew without turning their heads that it was Fred and George.

"Let's see the owls," said Cho. "I see Cho's owls are courting my Hedwig." She touched Hedwig on the shoulder.

"Really?" said Fred, "how does an owl court an owl? Send her flowers?"

"No, it's the mice," Harry replied.

"Are they going to fly out and have a mouse-hunting date?" George asked.

"I don't know, because Galois hasn't chased Hedwig yet." Harry answered honestly, but was pecked angrily by Galois.

"It seems that Galois is very unhappy with you, Cho," Fred said to Harry.

"Hedwig likes me very much." Qiu showed off beside him, and Harry watched helplessly as she showed off with her own owl.

She looked at her watch, and it was almost time: "We should go, bye, Fred." She greeted the redhead closest to her.

"It's Fred," said the one a little further away.

"Goodbye, Fred and George." Harry bid them farewell.

"Goodbye, Cho," said Fred and George at the same time.

At this time, Qiu at the door suddenly said: "I am Qiu, you have misunderstood the person." Then he pulled Harry up and left quickly.

"Finally I can say this in front of the two of them." In the room of Response, Qiu waited contentedly for the compound potion to expire: "I have been hearing them say that I recognized the wrong person since the first grade, and today is finally my turn." I said it."

"Aren't you worried they'll find out?" Harry asked.

"The two of them will never tell when they find out, because I know they have more violations of school rules." She didn't care.

The Polyjuice Potion started to wear off, and she felt her long hair slowly returning.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief beside him, he was finally free of his long hair and was very satisfied with the short hair on his head.

"Can I tell Hermione that this house exists?" Harry looked at her expectantly.

"no problem."

They changed their clothes and happily walked out of the Room of Requirement.

One day in January, Hermione mysteriously called Cho out of the common room and took her to the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor.

"Harry told me about this place, and he said you told him," said Hermione.

"I told him. What do you want from me?" she asked.

They went into the Room of Requirement, where Harry and Ron were already waiting, discussing something around a black notebook.

Qiu saw the black leather notebook at a glance, and her heartbeat suddenly accelerated. This is the most evil black magic product, a horcrux that can be made by killing people, and a place where Voldemort's soul resides.

"Qiu, you're here." Ron raised his head and looked at her: "Take a look at this, we haven't researched the use of this book until now."

They turned over and over at the blank notebook.

"Where did you get such a notebook?" she asked.

"In the bathroom where Myrtle was," said Ron. "We wanted to catch the Heir of Slytherin, so we used to go around there every now and then. One day we heard Filch complain about his procrastination." We dragged around all night to find Professor Dumbledore, so we went upstairs and found this book in the bathroom." He shook the notebook again, trying to see if it might fall out of something.

"But there's nothing on it, I've used Rush Appearance and the Appearance Eraser, but nothing happened." Hermione added regretfully.

"Okay, let me explore this book." Qiu glanced at the Horcrux, feeling excited, and then a table and a glass of water appeared in the Room of Requirement.

"Let's see," she opened the book, poured water on it, and the water disappeared quickly: "It can absorb water."

"Wow, amazing book," said Hermione. "How much water does it hold?"

"I don't know," Qiu said, and a large bucket of water appeared on the table in the Room of Requirement, and she threw the Horcrux into it: "Let me try."

She floated quietly in the water, thinking of young Voldemort swimming in it.Can he feel himself in the water in the book?

She took it out, and beads of water slid off the cover.Opening the diary, she found that the pages inside were still neat, without any wrinkles from being soaked.

"Amazing," Harry murmured, staring at the diary.

"Let's try something else." Qiu said, a cup of yellow-green liquid appeared on the table.

"Ah, that's disgusting," said Ron. "What's this?"

"Pubber's ichor," Hermione replied.

"What do you want this for?" Ron asked, frowning.

"Try to see if this diary can absorb it." Qiu said, dropping a few drops of this strange-smelling liquid onto the diary.

The diary was absorbed as usual.

"Amazing." Ron marveled at the clean pages of the notebook.

They tried several different liquids, all of which were absorbed by the diary.

"Now, let's try the next item." Qiu said, putting her hand on the edge of the diary page, she was a little nervous.

With a hiss, she tore off a page.

God, she thought, staring at the paper, I'm not going to tear off one of Voldemort's arms, am I?Or one of his ears? And then Voldemort has since become a cave listener?

She put the torn piece of paper into the water, and saw that the paper wrinkled, absorbed enough water, and sank to the bottom.

"It seems that the paper that has been separated from the notebook is no longer protected by the magic of the diary." Hermione thought.

They tried burning the pages again, but the pages were still intact. In the end, Qiurang Room of Requirement provided a bottle of ink and a quill, ready to expose the fact that it can talk to people, so it is very dangerous and needs to be handed over to the professors in the school.

"I am Mary Sue," she wrote on the first page of her diary.

The author has something to say:

I changed the heroine to an owl, because I found that the snowy owl is about 60 cm long, and my Galois is not big enough, so it doesn't fit well...
