dancer on the knife

Chapter 1 Preface

The year 2013 happened to be the tenth year of graduation, and I wanted to write something to record the life I had experienced, which was a gift for my tenth year of graduation. With such a heartbeat, I started the creation of this novel.Writing stopped and started, and it was not until November 2020 that the novel was finally finished. This is a writing journey that constantly challenges myself. Loneliness is like a poison, devouring every writing day.

In fact, everyone's experience is a novel. It's just that most people hide it in their hearts, and they may also think about writing something, but they have never implemented any action except for the idea, or there is no follow-up after action for a period of time. From 2016 to 2020, for more than four years, this novel has never been written again.Until one day, I suddenly felt that this unfinished project on the writing road should be finished, because it has become a major pain in my writing life.I can't wait any longer, because waiting can also be said to be a stumbling block on the road to growth.

All of this novel comes from real life, and it records the details of more than ten years from school to society to entrepreneurship.I am a person who is unwilling to recall, because every memory is like tearing open the scars of the past, and it hurts again. In order to pursue the authenticity of the details of the article, I consulted my diaries and blogs for many years in detail.

The whole novel is divided into four chapters:

The Youthful Years chapter records the experience from looking for a job to finding a job that suits you. In just a few months, I changed several jobs. When I was looking for a job, I was hit hard, which hit my self-confidence. Nothing, and finally went to the hotel to work as a waiter. After all, only by surviving can we talk about the future.

Workplace Struggle, which records my own experience of getting into a management position through working overtime in my favorite work platform, and finally choosing to resign because of office politics and unwilling to give in.From the basic salary of more than 600 yuan to becoming the top seller, there are too many ups and downs in it.

A taste of freelance work, which records the experience of how to survive on the computer network. In this duckweed-like day, a world has been opened up through the Internet, but there are also countless times of hesitation.Trying to write articles on behalf of others, recruit students for courses, and train brokers, all just to survive.

The growth chapter in entrepreneurship records the life experience of being "deceived" to start a business, from a life without any brand awareness to serving countless Fortune 500 companies. In the more than ten years of entrepreneurship, the taste can only be described as "knocking out teeth and swallowing blood".The experience of borrowing money and chasing money is unforgettable. It was an extremely dark period. In the end, I stumbled all the way to find a suitable development path.

Life is the best material for writing, making words come alive.Looking back on the past, I don't regret my decision. Although I also have regrets, isn't it more interesting because of this regret?

In this novel, there are no gorgeous words, only ups and downs of life experiences. Here is a record of a stunned young man's experience of growing into a veteran in the industry, and there are a lot of summaries of workplace and life in it.

Along the way, I got the support of many relatives and friends. Every time I couldn't bear it, it was these people who gave me a hand. That's what kept me going.I am grateful to life for allowing me to go through all of this; I am grateful to my relatives and friends for their help, allowing me to overcome difficulties again and again.Life will continue, just like the motto I believe in: there is no past that cannot be survived, and there is no future that cannot be earned.
