Chapter 49 The Vampire Contract

It wasn't until Lester fell asleep that Freddy cautiously got up from his side, and saw Simo walking this way as soon as he left the bedroom.

"How is he?" Simo asked.

"It's okay, I'm asleep." Freddy glanced at the bedroom door, "Let him rest for a while, let's go to the living room, the war is over?"

"Yes." Xi Mo nodded.

"Congratulations." Freddy patted him on the shoulder.

"We lost." Ximo smiled wryly.

"What?!" Freddy was shocked when he heard the words. When he went to the battlefield before, the army of gods and demons clearly had a great advantage. How could he lose the war after just a few hours?

"We were about to win." Simo sighed. "But Prik's light magic is too powerful. At the most critical moment in the war, he used holy light to heal all the injured puppets, which turned the situation around."

"That damn guy!" Freddy gritted his teeth.

"The army of angels and demons has retreated to the camp to rest, and we will have a meeting tomorrow morning." Ximo stood up, "I'm going first, take good care of Lester."

"You're staying here tonight?" Freddy asked.

"I'll go back to the castle to see that little fool." Ximo smiled, turned around and disappeared in a teleport.

In the castle, Lin Jing was sitting at the table eating, when she suddenly saw Ximo falling from the sky, she was shocked.

"Why just eat this?" Ximo frowned looking at the chocolate sauce and toast on the table.

"Uh, the battle is over?" Lin Jing put down the bread in his hand and asked him.

"No, come back to see you first." Ximo wiped off the chocolate on his face, "Didn't you eat tonight?"

"I'm not full." Lin Jing wiped her mouth, "Are you still leaving tonight?"

"Don't go, stay with you." Ximo kissed him with a smirk on his face, "I just ate the baby, how can I leave it alone."

"Eat your sister!" Lin Jing's ears turned red.

"Don't eat too much at night, let's go to rest." Simo pulled him to stand up.

"Uh..." Lin Jing blinked at him.

"What's wrong?" Ximo scratched his nose.

"Our... don't go to the bedroom!" Lin Jing hesitated.

"Do you want to go outside?" Xi Mo thought he was shy, so he smiled maliciously.

"..." Lin Jing rubbed her nose, but she didn't object, she was very obedient.

"What happened?" Xi Mo frowned.

"No." Lin Jing shook her head violently.

Xi Mo turned around and walked to the bedroom.

"Hey!" Lin Jing chased after him.

When he reached the door of the bedroom, Xi Mo stopped in his tracks.

"...It was just an accident, I'm fine." Lin Jing looked at him cautiously.

The soft and comfortable big bed in the bedroom had turned into a piece of charred black stone, and the hexagram on the ceiling was also blown into pieces.

"What's going on?" Ximo's face was gloomy, and he turned to look at the butler standing aside.

"When you were away a few days ago, someone from the Realm of Light came to attack the castle." The steward replied.

Lin Jing was sleeping in the bedroom at the time, and was suddenly dragged out of the bed by Feili and Tete by the sleeves. Before she could wake up, she heard a loud noise around her. His life has long been lost!

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Xi Mo's eyes were cold, and his voice was full of danger.

"I didn't let them talk about it." Lin Jing tugged at Xi Mo's sleeve, "Don't blame him."

"Why didn't you tell me?!" Ximo growled with bloodshot eyes.

"I'm fine, and you're on the battlefield..." Lin Jing said in a low voice, "I don't want to cause you any trouble."

"You idiot!" Xi Mo was furious.

"You are the idiot." Lin Jing muttered softly.

Ximo couldn't laugh or cry, did this guy have a brain?

His teeth itch with hatred, but he is unwilling to do anything to him.

Lin Jing felt that she was so noble! Why are you still being scolded! So very angry.

Ximo wanted to be angry too, but seeing Lin Jing rummaging through boxes and cabinets to find pillows and going to sleep on the sofa, she had no choice but to surrender.

"There's nothing I can do about you." Ximo pulled him back and pressed him down. He lowered his head and wanted to kiss him, but felt that he was really annoyed, so he bit his cheek gently, leaving a row of teeth print.

Lin Jing wiped her face and decided not to argue with him!

"Don't hide anything from me in the future, you know?" Xi Mo urged.

"En." Lin Jing nodded perfunctorily.

"The enchantment on your body can't completely protect you." Xi Mo shook his hand, "If you encounter a very powerful enemy, you will still be in danger."

"What is the concept of being very powerful?" Lin Jing asked.

"The magic level is equivalent to one-tenth of mine." Ximo replied.

"...Are you sure you're not praising yourself in disguise?" Lin Jing was speechless.

"I'm not kidding." Ximo frowned, "You are human, so I can only use one-tenth of the magic to create an enchantment to protect you, too much and you will be in danger of being backlashed."

Lin Jing nodded, she was a human being... suddenly felt a little blocked.

"What's wrong?" Ximo was very sensitive to Lin Jing's emotional changes.

"Will you never grow old?" Lin Jing asked him.

"Well, the blood race is immortal." Xi Mo nodded.

Lin Jing let out a muffled "Oh", bowed her head and stopped talking.

"Fool." Instantly understanding the reason for his awkwardness, Ximo reached out and hugged him in his arms.

"Then after I'm gone, can you think of me for a few more years before looking for someone else?" Lin Jing felt wronged and sad.

"Don't think wildly." Xi Mo rubbed his head.

"Otherwise, otherwise, you can also turn me into a blood race." Lin Jing hesitated.

"What?" Xi Mo was surprised.

"If you become a vampire, you should be able to live forever, right?" Lin Jing lowered her head and dared not look at him.

"...Little fool." Xi Mo's heart was about to melt.

"Is it okay?" Lin Jing asked in a low voice.

"No." Ximo hugged him tightly, "Not everyone is suitable to become a blood race, the night of first embrace will be very painful, and there will be danger, I am not willing."

"I'm not afraid of pain." Lin Jing fought hard.

"What's so good about being a blood race?" Simo took his hand and put it on his cheek, "Without a heartbeat, no body temperature, never seeing the sun, dying without blood, and being spurned by the world, how could I be willing to let my baby become a baby?" Like this."

"But vampires can live forever." Lin Jing said in a low voice, "I will go and convince my parents—"

"You don't need it." Ximo interrupted him.

Lin Jing stopped talking, her eyes were a little red.

Ximo kissed his forehead, but it felt cold.

"I really want to be with you." Lin Jing's nose was sour, "Although you are a jerk, I just don't want you to be with others, not even for a second."

"Baby, don't do this." Xi Mo looked at him distressed.

"After I die—"

"You won't die!" Ximo hugged him fiercely, losing all his reason to love, "I have a way, you don't have to become a blood race, you can stay with me forever and ever."

"Really?" Lin Jing couldn't believe it.

"...Yes." Ximo hugged him and sat up, "But I want you to promise that you will never leave me."

"You don't believe me?" Lin Jing felt a little cold.

"Of course not." Xi Mo shook his hand and looked at him with a wry smile.

"Look at what?" Lin Jing was awkward.

"I'll just bet this time." Ximo put his hand into his arms, his voice muffled, "You must not let me lose the bet."

"What do you mean?" Lin Jing didn't understand.

"Let's go baby, I'll take you somewhere." Ximo pinched his face and didn't answer his question.

Passing through the dark corridor, the two arrived at a cold and damp place, facing a small door that looked dilapidated.

"Why did you come here?" Lin Jing shivered, and leaned against Xi Mo involuntarily.

"Don't be afraid." Ximo pushed open the door and shook Lin Jing's hand, "Be careful not to fall."

Behind the door is a stone step. It seems that no one has walked by it for a long time. It is covered with green moss, wet and slippery. If Xi Mo hadn't been dragging it, Lin Jing would have almost sat down several times.

At the end of the steps was a room with simple furnishings, only a table with strange figures drawn on it, a few chairs, and a large box.

"Sit down baby." Ximo helped Lin Jing clean a chair.

"What is this?" Lin Jing looked at the pattern drawn on the table and asked curiously.

"Family crest." Xi Mo took out a few things from the box and put them on the table.

"What are we going to do?" Lin Jing asked.

"Sign the contract." Xi Mo lit a candle.

"...give my soul to the devil in exchange for eternal life?" Lin Jing had a rich imagination.

"Are you afraid?" Xi Mo raised the corner of his mouth to look at him.

"...Will you live forever?" Lin Jing asked hesitantly.

"Yes." Ximo replied firmly.

"...Alright then." Lin Jing gritted her teeth.

"Little fool, I lied to you." Ximo couldn't help laughing, "You can only give me one of your souls, don't even think about it."

"What kind of contract is that?" Lin Jing breathed a sigh of relief and asked curiously.

"Blood contract." Ximo spread out a piece of parchment on the table, then pricked his finger with his canine teeth, dripping a drop of blood on it.

"What is the blood contract?" Lin Jing was still asking.

"Baby, use this drop of blood as ink to write your name." Xi Mo handed him a quill pen.

"Oh." Lin Jing nodded and followed her advice.

As soon as the last stroke was finished, Lin Jing suddenly felt that something that did not belong to her seemed to surge into her body in an instant.

"What's the matter... What's the matter with you?" Lin Jing originally wanted to ask Xi Mo what was going on, but when she turned around, she saw that he seemed to be in pain, so she was taken aback.

"It's okay." Xi Mo wiped off the blood from his lips, looked at Lin Jing's mouth raised, and leaned slightly with his right hand on his chest.

"Hello, my respected little master."
