Chapter 104 Meeting Hagrid

Harry trotted along, his heart almost in his throat.

There was an old witch who wanted to talk to him just now, but he didn't think that person looked like a good person, so he could only rush forward anxiously.

"Harry! What are you doing here?"

Harry's strained ears finally heard a familiar sound, and he looked towards the end of the alley, only to see Hagrid—the burly gamekeeper striding towards him, with bright beetle-like black eyes, in front of him. The beard is shining brightly.

"Hagrid!" Harry finally could let go of his throat, and he shouted hoarsely, "I'm lost... Floo powder..."

Hagrid wasn't listening to Harry at all.He grabbed Harry by the nape of the neck, dragged him away from the group of old witches, and quickly left the dark alley.

"Look at you!" Hagrid said gruffly, and vigorously flicked the dust off Harry's body, so heavy that he almost stuck the breath Harry had just sucked in in his throat.

"I saw that too..." Harry saw Hagrid flicking the dust for him again, and hurriedly dodged, "Tell you I'm lost—what are you doing there?"

"I'm looking for a cure for flesh-eating slugs," said Hagrid, bearded and glaring. "They're killing my school cabbages. You're not alone, are you?"

"My cousin Dudley and I lived at the Weasleys' house, but we got separated," Harry said puzzled, always feeling that his memory seemed to be a little messed up.

He didn't know where he came from, it was as if in the blink of an eye, Floo fan threw himself onto the dark street of Knockturn Alley.

He couldn't figure it out, and he didn't want to either.Following in Hagrid's footsteps, he said, "I have to go find them. Cousin Dudley will be worried if he doesn't see me."

While talking, Harry and Hagrid had already been walking forward, and quickly left that dark Knockturn Alley.

"Why haven't you replied to my letter?" Hagrid asked puzzled, Harry trotted beside him and followed his footsteps.

Harry told him all about Dobby and the Dursleys, though he didn't know who sent that house-elf?But Cousin Dudley was already trying his best to fight for his freedom at home, so he didn't dare to go too far and ask for correspondence with Hagrid.

Seeing Harry's silence, Hagrid thought that the pair of Muggle relatives must have messed something up again, and he said angrily: "Those hateful muggle claws! Can't their Slytherin sons think about you? You But his cousin?"

"Without Hagrid, Cousin Dudley helped me a lot. Now Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia are much kinder than they were four years ago, all thanks to Cousin Dudley." Harry explained, and seemed Thinking of a better memory, a happy smile appeared on his face: "Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia just don't want to attract the attention of other neighbors. After all, there are owls delivering letters every day, and everyone will feel very strange."

"You're still too kind, boy. But it's a lot like your mother." Hagrid ruffled Harry's messy hair, and the two of them were in the street at Gringotts Bank in no time.

Harry looked up to see Hermione Granger standing on the white steps of Gringotts Bank. She trotted down to meet them, her shaggy brown hair flying behind her.

"What's wrong with your eyes? Hello Hagrid... oh, it's so good to see you two again... Are you going to Gringotts, Harry?" Hermione looked a little nervous, after all, it was the first time she saw To the dirty Harry Potter, it looks like Harry rolled around in a dusty place.

"I'll have to find Cousin Dudley and the Weasleys before I go," said Harry, patting the stubborn gray dust on his head.

"You don't have to look for it for long." Hai Ge said with a smile.

Harry and Hermione looked around, following Hagrid's gaze.Sure enough, he saw Ron, Fred, George, Percy and Mr. Weasley running quickly from the crowded street.

Harry circled around, asking Ron in surprise.

"Where's Dudley?"

I saw Ron grinning and said, "He's in the owl store. I just described it to him. I want a more majestic owl. He's looking for it now. He'll come to the bookstore to find us in a while."

"Harry," gasped Mr. Weasley, "we hope you missed an oven door..." he went on, wiping his sweaty brow.

"Molly's going crazy—she'll be here in a minute."

"Where did you come from?!" Ron asked curiously, and reached out to brush the dust off one of Harry's upturned hairs.

"Knockturn Alley." Hagrid said with a bitter face.

"It's great!" Fred and George exclaimed in unison, with small expressions of envy in their eyes. They have long wanted to go there for a stroll, but their parents would never agree.

"The adults never let us go." Ron said enviously.

"I don't think you'd better go," Hagrid warned. And looked at Fred and George, the twins had tried their best to find some treasures in the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts. He can't guarantee it all, the two kids want to explore Knockturn Alley.

At this time, Mrs. Weasley hurriedly ran to this side, the handbag in her hand was swinging violently.Ginny took her other hand and struggled to follow.

"Oh, Harry - oh dear - we almost thought you were lost?"

Mrs. Weasley spoke out of breath, and took out a coat brush from her bag, and began to brush off the remaining dust on Harry's body.Mr. Weasley took Harry's glasses, tapped them lightly with his wand, and returned them to him after the cracked lenses were intact.

"Well, I have to go," said Hagrid, his hand being held tightly by Mrs. Weasley.Mrs. Weasley was thanking him for saving Harry from Knockturn Alley.

Hagrid waved his hand: "See you at Hogwarts!" He strode away, taller than anyone else by a head and a shoulder, and quickly disappeared into the street.

The rest of the journey was to go to Gringotts Bank to withdraw money and get on the Mercedes-Benz cart. Harry was very thankful that Dudley wasn't there, otherwise the trip would have been quite strenuous.

Dudley seldom saves money in the bank. Every year when he goes to school, he takes twisted coins to Gringotts Bank to exchange them. This is obviously much more convenient than they have to go to the vault to get it.

It's just that every time you go to withdraw money, you have to experience the thrill of flying like lightning, which is very worrying.

After withdrawing the money from Gringotts Bank, Mrs. Weasley asked everyone.

"Gather at Lihen Bookstore in an hour and buy textbooks for you." Mrs. Weasley explained and left with her little daughter Ginny. Then he stopped suddenly, turned around and shouted at the twins, "Don't go to Knockturn Alley!"

The Weasley twins nodded under their mother's menacing eyes, watched Mrs. Weasley leave, and hugged each other to play.
