This is his great supernatural power. Avalokitesvara can hear the round light of the ten directions and pervade the ten directions.

The Buddhist verse says: Wonderful voice of Avalokitesvara, the sound of Sanskrit and the sound of the sea tide, is better than the sound of the world, so we must always recite it.

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is also a supernatural power, and is good at saving the world with great supernatural powers, so people often recite his name, because he can hear every recitation.

The compassionate Bodhisattva, as long as the sentient beings in distress chant his name, the Bodhisattva will immediately hear their voices and go to save and liberate them.

This is because Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva once made a great vow that if there are sentient beings suffering from various troubles and terrors, if they can remember themselves and chant the name of Avalokitesvara, they will be freed from such suffering and troubles.

Therefore, Amitabha and Guanyin Bodhisattva are the most famous "Buddha names". Monks like to recite them whenever they have something to do, and even ordinary people like to recite them.

Like Amitabha, people recite his name just to seek his protection.

Monks like the Buddha and Bodhisattva of the same lineage of supernatural powers the most, because as long as they recite their names, they can get benefits, so their names are praised.

But is this really what the Tathagata wants?

The more Li Qi understands Buddhism, the more he feels the situation faced by the Tathagata.

Imagine...

When a person says "Buddha", is he thinking of the Tathagata or "himself"?

If he thinks of the Tathagata when he says "Buddha", then Buddhism is not Buddhism, and all the Buddhism that the Tathagata has obtained has become a worldly shackle.

Buddhism is not supernatural power.

Buddhism pursues "enlightenment", and "Buddha" means the enlightened.

Why can't the enlightened be themselves, but must be a great supernatural power?

When all sentient beings think that others are the enlightened ones, and others are the "Buddha", then... it is indeed time for the Buddha to die.

Thinking about this, Li Qi finally arrived at the current dojo of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

But he saw countless precious lights, pouring down on the dust in the ten directions.

The forests, trees, and ponds all played the Dharma sound, and the light intertwined like a precious silk net. This was unprecedented for all the people, and all of them obtained the Vajra Samadhi. At that time, the sky rained hundreds of precious lotus flowers, blue, yellow, red, and white, intertwined and mixed, and the ten directions of the void became seven treasure colors. Only the dust lands in the ten directions were seen to merge into one world, and the Buddhist chants were sung.

Li Qi looked around, and then saw Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in front of him.

Sitting cross-legged, with a plump and dignified appearance, a gentle and elegant demeanor, wearing a jeweled crown on his head, wearing a heavenly robe, sitting on a cattail leaf seat and a lotus stamen, with his hands clasped in front of his chest, and twenty hands raised on each side of the left and right. In the forty raised hands, they held Dharma instruments such as the sun, the moon, the pure bottle, the vajra, and the Qiankun belt.

Then, he sighed: "So... Bodhisattvas are also like this."

The reason for this sigh is that Li Qi clearly saw the infinite "response body" of Avalokitesvara.

The upper Avalokitesvara, manifested by the Samadhi of the universal manifestation of the color body, has thirty-three bodies.

It is also called the "thirty-three Avalokitesvara".

The thirty-three Avalokitesvara are not various images, but different appearances of Avalokitesvara himself. Thirty-three is actually a classification of imaginary numbers, and there are far more than thirty-three bodies.

Moreover, these "bodies" are also different. Simply count them, there are the body of the voice-hearer, the body of the Brahma king, the body of the self-reliant god, the body of the general, the body of the Vaiśravaṇa, the body of the small king, the body of the elder, the body of the householder, the body of the Upasaka, the body of the boy, the body of the girl, the body of the celestial being, the body of the dragon, the body of the Yaksha, the body of the Gandharva, the body of the Asura, the body of the Garuda, the body of the Kinnara, the body of the Mahoraga, the body of the Vajrapani, the body of the animal, and so on.

This is not a transformation technique, but a real ‘body’. These different bodies are actually ‘independent’.

Completely independent, all minds exist independently, there is no entity at all, all faces are her entity.

This is actually very similar to Li Qi’s form.

Li Qi is like this now.

His countless fragments, like Guanyin’s ‘33 bodies’, are all independent, and when they are combined, they are still independent.

How to say it... It should be difficult for mortals to understand.

For mortals, a person’s body is a unified whole, so the soul should also be unified.

However, for great supernatural powers like Li Qi and Guanyin, their minds and souls are never unified, and they may not even have "commonalities".

Mortals often observe the world and themselves through very naive, simplified, and lies-filled colored glasses, especially when observing themselves.

But in fact, even mortals are not like this.

Because on the surface, all people seem to have an innate and inevitable need. They must imagine themselves as a whole, so that they can maintain their own consistency and will not have the shakes of "I am me".

Although this kind of enthusiasm is often shaken by huge shocks, it can always recover as before.

It's like a person and his companions standing on the sky tower, staring at the abyss below. At a certain moment, he found that he had the feelings, abilities and possibilities of a murderer in his heart.

He would want to push his companions down, or jump down himself.

But this thought will only appear for a moment, and the sense of division will only last for a moment. He will soon become a whole again, a rational person again, turn back to his own body, and control his behavior.

Few ordinary people realize that they are actually composed of multiple properties, and it is difficult for them to get rid of the illusion of unity.

They cannot perceive that they are actually composed of many selves.

If they consciously feel this separation, they may be locked up and diagnosed with schizophrenia to prevent them from doing bad things.

But no one is a pure monomer, not even the most naive and childish people. Each "I" is a very complex world, a small starry sky, a chaotic kingdom composed of countless chaotic forms, stages and conditions, heredity and possibilities.

Everyone strives to see this chaotic kingdom as a single whole, and the tone when talking about the self gives people an illusion that the self is simple, fixed, and has clear outlines.

However, after admitting that consciousness and the universe itself are chaos...

Just like Li Qi and Guanyin Bodhisattva, they have realized the complexity of themselves and even the entire universe.

The universe has never been simple, and a single thing can be described, just as they themselves are not the same.

"I never thought that Guanyin Bodhisattva would have the nature of Taiyi." Li Qi looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva and said so.
