Myriad Paths

Chapter 380 The Real Buddha Country

Li Qi finalized the itinerary.

And on the other side——

——————————

In the endless realm.

In the boundless space, thousands of Buddha lights ripple.

A statue of the Buddha who is hundreds of millions of miles tall is sitting cross-legged here, holding the Buddha's kingdom in his palm, holding the fingers in one hand and smiling on his face.

With such a huge Dharma form, there are actually dozens of world groups revolving around this Buddha Dharma form.

Each world group has millions of worlds.

But even comparing the size of the world to this Dharma, it seems like the difference between a giant and dust.

Even at the speed of light, it would probably take tens of thousands of years to run from the top of this Buddha's head to the soles of his feet.

Such a huge and magnificent image of the Buddha is shining with light.

The body emits immeasurable light, illuminating thousands of worlds. There are roars of lions in the sky, and there are many Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and lay people holding Dharma drums, blowing Dharma conchs, law enforcement swords, building Dharma pillars, shaking Dharma thunder, shining Dharma lightning, and sending Dharma rain. , perform Dharma, and use the sound of Dharma to enlighten the world.

All the miraculous powers of Buddha Dharma have reached hundreds of thousands of billions of nayutas of Buddha lands.

The light illuminates the immeasurable Buddha land, and all the worlds are subject to six kinds of vibrations, all rising up, with endless waves. In the world illuminated by the Buddha's light, all things are pure, pure, beautiful, unique in shape and color, so subtle that they cannot be weighed.

Look at the Buddha's kingdom in the palm of his hand. The Buddha's palm holds the endless earth. From the earth to the sky, there are palaces and towers, ponds and flowing flowers and trees. Everything in the land is composed of countless miscellaneous treasures and hundreds of thousands of incense. The decoration is wonderful, surpassing all gods and humans, and its fragrance permeates the world in all directions.

Those dozens of world groups, hundreds of millions of worlds, are all bathed in the light of the Buddha, and they all have achieved the pure and liberating samadhi.

Countless worlds and countless sentient beings, under the light of the Buddha, they will not have thoughts of desire, anger, or harm, and will not have any color, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharmas. They will achieve endurance and will not care about the sufferings. They will be satisfied with few desires and be free from tainted hatred and delusion. Samadhi is always peaceful, and there is no false or flattering mind.

This is a real Buddha.

A genuine Buddha with the properties of "infinite light", "infinite lifespan" and "infinite wisdom".

His name is Amitabha Buddha.

However, the appearance of this true Buddha does not look very ‘healthy’.

Indeed, because there was endless darkness dragging his body, the immeasurable Buddha's light was blocked and lost the nature of "reaching the world of the ten directions, like a Buddha's land".

In this darkness, countless demons sink and emerge.

Amitabha did not take action to destroy these demons, because that was meaningless, and no matter how many they killed, they would never be able to finish them off.

Because the number of demons here is 'infinite'.

Literally infinite.

However, infinity does not exceed the boundaries of this world, so it can still exist.

It sounds weird, but it's actually a very simple truth.

How many numbers are there between the two integers one and two?

Anyone who has learned a little bit knows the answer, there are infinite numbers.

1.1, 1.11, 1.111, can cycle infinitely, and in a finite size, there is also an infinite number.

The same is true for the demons here. In the finite existence of reality, there are indeed infinite demons. Therefore, "killing" in a mortal way is just a meaningless thing and a complete waste of time.

But a true Buddha is capable of dealing with such things as 'infinity'.

But I saw Dharma Prime reciting a verse in his mouth: "The demon world is captured, the demon palace is moved, the demons are frightened, and they all surrender -"

As the Buddha's voice resounded, in the boundless void, Dharma conchs exploded!

His body manifests like lightning, destroying the demonic net, untying all entanglements, breaking the evil net, eradicating all views, transcending the voice-hearers, and attaining the samadhi of emptiness, formlessness, and wishlessness. Well-established expedients reveal the Three Vehicles, where they are finally transformed and annihilated.

As the Buddha's voice trembled, indescribable mysterious fluctuations affected countless demons at a speed far exceeding the speed of light. In an instant, even 'infinity' was annihilated.

In fact, it is also a very simple reason.

If the boundless sea of demons in front of us is the infinite within the finite, then what is the weakness of this infinity?

It's very simple. There are infinite numbers between one and two. So what is the existence that is absolutely not included in this infinite number?

It's also a very clear answer.

It is a number less than one and greater than two.

If it is a number less than one or greater than two, it means that it transcends the infinity within the finite. If the number is greater than two, then this number "greater than two" is greater than every individual in the infinity within the finite.

It is a similar principle. Amitabha made a "subtraction" by transcending the infinite and the finite.

It sounds simple, but all the battles they do are set in the 'universe'.

The universe includes all time and space. There is no such thing as plurality in the universe. As long as there is time and space, that is the scope of the universe. And the bubble-like universe that ordinary people know, according to the world, should be called ' world'.

Use the universe as the background, not the universe as the battlefield.

Zhu Fengdan and the others fought against the infinite demons outside the world, using the universe as their battlefield.

But the battle between the first rank is completely different.

They looked down at the universe from high, using this universe as a canvas, on which they created their own 'battles' wantonly.

This kind of battle relies purely on logic and 'Tao'.

This kind of battle is not a 'fight' in the usual sense, but a competition for the 'interpretation' of the universe. Whoever has more 'interpretation power' can have a greater impact.

However, the last time they fought, Amitabha was slightly better.

But the next moment, a round ball appeared in front of Amitabha.

Not in front of the Dharma, but in front of the Buddha himself, in the center of the Buddha's kingdom in his palm, sitting under the Bodhi tree that is dozens of light years high.

"Ah, you won again and kicked me out of the real universe again. Are you happy?" The black ball, or... the devil, said to Amitabha in a slightly interesting voice.

Amitabha Buddha said nothing and turned a blind eye to the ball. All the other Bodhisattvas and Arhats around him sat up cross-legged and silently recited mantras. Sanskrit sounds suddenly burst out all around, and invisible pressure and Buddha's light began to gather, pressing on the demon. .

They took action directly.

As for arguing...that's not necessary.

In the past countless years, countless eloquent Zen masters have argued eloquently with demons, but the ending was simple.

The devil has never lost.

Because he always has countless quibbles. If he can't even quibble, then he will lie.

There is no point in arguing with the devil.

"Ah, this reaction again, so boring." The demon began to transform from a black ball, and gradually turned into a human form.

He transformed into a strange... humanoid being.

He has no hair, his body is covered with spikes and angular scales, he has curved double-jointed hind legs, a vine-like mist wraps around his body, and his hands have sharp claws.

The moment his form appeared, everyone around him noticed his presence. Those Bodhisattvas and Arhats instantly felt that the essence of the world suddenly pressed into their fragile hearts at a speed they did not expect.

Warmth and sharpness, deep essential chaos, some kind of terrible expansion!

Just showing a body, Amitabha's followers felt tremendous pressure.

This is not the evil intention of the demon, it is just the suppression of the personality.

Then, he turned into a demon and said to Amitabha: "How much did you consume this time?"

Faced with this problem, Amitabha suddenly spoke.

The appearance of this true Buddha is so huge and magnificent, but his true body is like an ordinary person. There is nothing special about him, he is just an ordinary old monk.

Amitabha Buddha said: "There are countless worlds in the Buddha's lands in the ten directions, but for the Buddha's land, only a few are consumed."

"For the Buddha Land, it is said that the consumption is very small, but what about those people? Every time you suppress me, a lot of people must die. Although it is nothing to the entire Xitian, aren't their individuals important? I, the Buddha, are compassionate , is Mercy here?" the demon asked with a smile.

He was always good at doing this kind of thing.

Amitabha shook his head and responded: "They all died for the sake of all sentient beings."

"For all sentient beings? Or for your Buddhism?" The demon curiously poked his head over and asked, almost leaning against Amitabha.

"Isn't Buddhism one of the sentient beings? Not to mention, besides Buddhism, there are countless living beings who will be poisoned by you." Amitabha asked in return.

"But I don't like killing. If I were allowed to come out, I don't know how many people would die in the past countless years. Everyone knows that he transformed into the demon of freedom is a kind and easy-to-talk person. I only give them choices and never kill anyone. Man." The demon's body turned and his voice changed.

She transformed into a beautiful and delicate girl and sat beside the Buddha.

This scene looks very harmonious.

Bodhi tree, old monk, Buddha light, scriptures, and a beautiful girl sitting next to her with her legs exposed, her expression shy but full of curiosity.

Unfortunately, those who know the inside story will only shudder.

"The choice given by the devil will eventually pay a price." Amitabha said as he looked at the girl.

"I have never charged any price. The so-called price is just the internal fighting among mortals." The demon shook his calves, pouted, and said dissatisfied.

In fact, this is also true.

The demon never charges any price, and she doesn't need those meager things. The admiration of mortals, their precious things, and even their lives and souls are all meaningless to the demon.

The meaning of their existence is just to provide the devil with an interesting story that is no longer boring. The same is true for the existence of this world.

Those so-called costs and so-called tragedies are just the result of the internal fighting among mortals. The price is collected by others, and the lives are killed by others. In most cases, the demon does not like killing.

"It's clear who the source is. The sacrifices made to stop you are far better than the chaos in the world after you are released." Amitabha said.

"Oh, really, you all have a point no matter what, so you are right. By the way, I am going to eat. Do you want to eat with me?" Tianmo said as he yawned and lay down bored.

Amitabha said nothing.

So the devil prepared to eat it himself.

She twisted her fingertips, and a huge world appeared in the void.

Amitabha frowned slightly, but made no actual action.

Because it makes no sense.

This world quickly occupies the sky at this moment, but it is not enough to cover the Buddha Kingdom in the Palm, not even one percent.

But it was grand enough, the edge of the world shimmered in the sky, and the red stars became brighter and brighter on the horizon.

This is a world on the verge of destruction.

There are countless lives that are gradually being annihilated, wailing quietly, bright stars exploding, and visible and invisible electromagnetic waves scattered in the dim space.

This cry may have started from ancient times, or it may have been brewing and accumulated for some coincidence. In the end, the energy waves are smoothed out, and all you can see is a pile of monotonous colors.

This is the beginning and the end of a world, and all of this is embodied in the sky above the Buddha Kingdom in the palm of Amitabha Buddha, occupying one percent of the sky in the entire Buddha Kingdom.

In a world where hundreds of millions of stars are heading for destruction, naturally, the creatures inside will also fall into death.

"Look, they died on their own, and it has nothing to do with me." The demon said easily.

The other Bodhisattvas and Arhats around looked indignant, but no one came out to stop him.

Because it's too late, the world can't be saved.

The world hanging in the sky has long been demonized and degenerated under the watchful eyes of the devil, heading towards internal strife and destruction.

A fourth-grade world spans hundreds of thousands of light-years in length and breadth, with hundreds of millions of star systems. The number of mortals in it is unknown... but there is no doubt that the unity is headed for destruction.

The demon watched the self-development of mortals with great interest.

She never killed, mortals just killed each other.

She just... gave him a push and said a few words.

Then, the demon's palm gently clenched into a fist.

The small part of the world shown quickly shrunk and turned into an existence similar to a 'starry sky ball', suspended in the hands of the demon.

When the world is floating in the void, it will usually be smaller than the actual size inside, but it will not be this small.

However, with the power of the demon, the world of hundreds of thousands of light years can be compressed into a small ball.

Those delicate little hands that looked weak and weak held the world lightly at their fingertips.

Then, like eating jelly beans, she swallowed the world whole and took a small bite.

There was a click.

The extremely thick barriers of the world were chewed up like the icing on a candied haws.

Amitabha looked at this scene and said, "Does this mean anything to you?"

"It doesn't make any sense to me." Tianmo said.

It's really pointless, eating ten more will just give you a taste.

"But... it means a lot to him." The demon said, and a figure made of pure demonic energy appeared next to him.

Looks a lot like... Li Qi.
