Monster Integration

2457 Arashbaroa

After I cleared the three things out of the first room, I walked toward the second room, which is, unlike the second room, bigger and filled with a lot of things, especially the book, which I am dying to get my hands on.

I pulled the door made of energy and walked into the second room with the being following behind me.

This must be the office of the torturer; it has a desk, two chairs, and a sofa for the guests to sit. Aside from that, there are seven bookshelves and a painting of one of the most horrifying creatures I had ever seen.

It looked like a bird but had hundreds of wings; it also had a beak that looked squishy and a single huge eye on top of it, radiating the menace that shook my whole body and made me buckle up my knees in primal fear.

It sort of reminds me of the abomination that had brought the hidden being from the cosmos and who also wanted to take over my body due to my constitution.

"What is that thing?" I asked in a breathless voice before I could stop myself and looked at the being who was looking at the painting with a deep hatred.

"Arashbaroa; the abomination that had murdered our progenitor," It said with a greeted teeth and deep hatred in its eyes.

When I heard the word 'Abomination' I was quite shocked; with me reading lots of books, I know what they are. These beings are invaders of our universe, shockingly powerful that destroying the worlds is child play to them, and the titans are the only thing that could contend against them.

The Grimm race that plagues the millions of worlds is also their creation.

I looked away from the painting and began collecting things; within a few seconds, I had collected everything in the room except for the seven bookshelves and the painting of the abomination; only these two things were protected by the formation.

I have no interest in painting; I do not want even a shadow of the thing that has been responsible for the blight of my people for thousands of years.

I turned to the seven bookshelves, and they were the most filled bookshelves I have ever found in the ruin. Still, I could see that 10% of the books were missing; it is clear that it had taken the important books before leaving.

Thankfully, the dense formations are running on the bookshelf, and quickly copied them begin to solve the formation on the first bookshelf.

Hun!

About ten minutes later, a surprise couldn't help but appear on my face. At first sight, I had considered it an easy formation that I would be able to solve within an hour of outside time, but after working on it for half an hour, I noticed this formation is far from simple.

Someone had put quiet thoughts into designing these formations; they had put a very hidden trick inside it. It is a good thing; I had caught the trick; otherwise, it would have taken hours before I could be able to make sense of it.

As I had understood the problem, I began to look at the formation from a different angle, and surely, I found another two hidden tricks.

I continued a few more times through different methods but did not find any more of the tricks. Seeing that, I began to solve the formation, and I was quite fast. These tricks are also the keys; once you have found them.

Forty minutes later, I had solved the whole formation; it took me a total of one hour and twelve minutes to solve the formation.

Buzz!

I took out the air pen without wasting a second and began to draw out the formation. A minute later, the formation stuck on the bookshelf, and it opened.

I immediately went for the books and began to store them in spatial storage after flipping them for a second or two to read their subject. When I read it, it couldn't be horrified and surprised me at the same time.

Most of these on the first shelf are anatomy, physical anatomy, soul anatomy, and metaphysical anatomy. Half of them deal with the subject of dealing with maximum pain on different anatomies of different races.

Buzz!

While they may be about torture, I am sure I will be able to extract the knowledge I need through them.

After I finished unloading the first shelf, I moved toward the second shelf. This formation, too, was finished tricks, and since I knew they were there, I found them using different methods before I began solving them and finished them within an hour.

Like the books from the first shelf, I had stored books from the second shelf in spatial storage. I did not want it to know about the strangeness of my core; if it got curious, things might get very dangerous for me.

With the second shelf finished, I moved to the third; I even forgot there was a very powerful being behind me; the books were so amazing that I forgot everything other than the goal of taking them out of their shelves.

If I looked back, I would have seen the profound shock on its face seeing my speed of breaking the formation.

"Little human, do you have a penchant for torture?" asked the being behind me suddenly, just when I fished, taking all the books from the fifty bookshelves.

"No, of course not," I replied immediately but doubted myself immediately on my answer, seeing I nearly every Grimm Monster to death to harvest them and their bloodlines.

"If you don't like torture, then why are you so happy about getting books about the torture," It asked back, and this time there was a mild curiosity on its face which instantly made him look extremely cute.

"I have a celestial inheritance, my lord, and any type of information, especially on body and soul, is extremely important to me," I replied, and it seemed a little surprised hearing.

"No wonder you are looking at all these books like they are the biggest treasure in the world. You people love your books more than your children," It said while shaking his head with a smile.
