The cave was damp and cold, and the weak candlelight flickered, illuminating her pale face. Nas's breathing was rapid, and her face showed signs of pain.

"Gerlin, I... I can still hold on." Her voice was weak but firm.

"Shut up, Nas." Gerlin gritted his teeth, secretly anxious in his heart. Seeing her injuries were so serious, he could hardly hide his worries. "What you need is not courage, but someone who can heal you."

"But now... there is no one else." Nas's expression was a little helpless. She tried to move her body, but couldn't help groaning because of the pain.

"I will find a way," Garlin whispered, even though he knew that it was hopeless on his own. "We can't give up and let those dark forces consume us."

"But your ability..." Nas seemed to want to argue, but was interrupted by Gerlin.

"I know my limitations very well." He sighed, then clenched his fists, a glimmer of determination in his heart. "However, I also know that I can't let you suffer here now. I won't let you go on like this!"

"What... do you want to do?" Nas opened her eyes wide. In her heart, Gerlin had already shouldered too many responsibilities, and the scene in front of her made her heartbroken.

"Go find other help." Gerling smiled bitterly. "Even though we know that such a move may bring greater danger, we have no choice."

"The monsters outside the cave are still roaming around. It's dangerous for you to do this!" Nas seemed a little anxious. She wanted to grab his hand, but she couldn't move because of her injuries. "I... I can't lose you again."

"Lose?" Gellin pulled a bitter smile from the corner of his mouth. "I don't want to be bound by the word 'lose'. Maybe this is the fate we have to face. We have to fight together."

Nas was slightly stunned, realizing that their situation was already in deep trouble. No matter what, she couldn't let Gerlin take risks. "Wait a minute, Gerlin." She tried to calm herself down, "We need to act with a plan, not blindly."

"I understand." Gerlin thought quickly. The sound of dripping water coming from the dark space not far away made people nervous. "I will go out and investigate the situation first, and try not to alarm those monsters."

Nas closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm her turbulent mood. "If I really want to go out, I must be careful. The power of those dark creatures is very strong, and I feel extremely scared."

"Damn shadows." Gellin waved his hand in disdain. "We have to face them head on. Otherwise, how can we survive?"

"But your spell..." Nasi finally expressed her concerns, with deep anxiety in her eyes, "I don't want to see you get hurt."

"My magic is the only weapon I can rely on." Gerlin nodded slightly. "As you said, we must be cautious, but we cannot retreat."

He stood up and prepared to set off, silently reciting the spell he was about to cast, secretly praying for success. Looking back, he saw Nas's painful but determined eyes, and he probably understood something in his heart. He knew that this road was not easy to walk, but he had to find a way out, even if it meant going to the abyss.

"You must stay well, Nasi." He said softly, "I will return as soon as possible."

"If you don't come back..." Nasi forced a smile. Although there was uneasiness in her words, she tried her best not to collapse. "I will wait for you and never move again."

"I will be back." Gerlin walked out of the cave and gradually disappeared into the darkness. Nas silently watched his back, and an invisible power surged in her heart. Even though the current predicament was extremely severe, she still hoped that he could return safely.

The world outside the cave was a completely different scene. The cold air squeezed Gerling's heart and he felt a strange sense of oppression. It was quiet all around, with only the faint whispers from afar, which was creepy.

"Where are the monsters hiding?" he asked himself, and began to move cautiously in the shadows. Every step was filled with anxiety, but it also ignited the fire in his heart.

In a corner not far away, Gerlin suddenly heard a low roar. He looked out and saw several hideous creatures moving in the dark, their black scales flickering strangely under the candlelight, their eyes revealing cunning and ferocity.

"These are... the monsters that Nass mentioned." Gerlin clenched his fists, knowing that the situation was worse than he had imagined. He decided to deal with it carefully, not wanting to cause chaos.

He resisted the fear in his heart and prepared to cast a spell. The spell gathered at his fingertips, and he seemed to feel a strong force in the air. Grinning his teeth, relying on the courage in his heart, he released the spell in an instant and rushed towards the monster.

"Puff!" The magic cut through the air and hit the target directly. A flash of light illuminated the dark corner. Several monsters were frightened and fled in all directions. Gerlin took the opportunity to catch up quickly, fearing that they would escape.

"Nas's life cannot be left here!" He repeatedly urged himself in his heart that he must find a way to cure her as soon as possible. He began to explore the cave, trying to find anything useful to help Nas recover.

During the exploration, Gerling's thoughts were constantly awakened by Nas's face, which made him feel heartbroken. Her firm yet fragile expression was like a sword, piercing deep into his heart.
