Naruto: I was reborn as Uchiha Sasuke

Chapter 3 Sorting out the relics

Uchiha Sasuke took extremely heavy steps, moving forward slowly and arduously. Each step seemed to carry a heavy weight, and he moved step by step towards the place where the Uchiha clan once lived.

In the gloomy sky, heavy clouds piled up layer by layer, like heavy and oppressive shackles, and the extremely dark color was almost suffocating. Sasuke's heart was like a surging and stormy ocean, and his thoughts were surging like the tide. He clenched his fists, his teeth chattered, and he said inwardly: "The Third Hokage is so hypocritical!"

He knew very well that the Third Hokage used the tragic experience of the Uchiha clan to win over an orphan like him, just to show his hypocritical kindness to other ninja clans and civilians. He also tried to use the method of boiling a frog in warm water to force him to accept the so-called will of fire. "Humph, I just hope that the Konoha high-level officials can be less greedy and ugly when buying the Uchiha family's assets!"

The closer they got to their former home, the more desolate and remote the surroundings seemed. Exactly the same as the description in the original novel, the Uchiha clan seemed to have been deliberately abandoned in the corner of Konoha Village, completely reduced to a desolate place forgotten by the world.

The houses that were once full of laughter and bustle are now closed, as if resolutely resisting the prying eyes of the outside world. The mottled marks on the walls are like deep scars carved by the years, silently telling the glory of the past and the misery of the present.

Sasuke finally stepped into this land that carried endless pain and heavy memories. He took a deep breath and tried his best to calm the strong emotions in his heart. According to his parents' careful teachings, he bent his body, like a cautious falcon, and began a long and meticulous search.

His eyes were as sharp as a hawk, and he would never miss any corner of the house where precious items and key clues might be left. In the dilapidated room, dust was flying in the air, floating like a lost elf.

The sun shines through the broken windows, casting golden beams of light, as if they are the only traces left by time. Sasuke's figure moves swiftly between the beams of light, sometimes squatting down to carefully check the tiny marks on the ground; sometimes reaching out to feel the unevenness of the wall, his eyes focused and sharp, as if he can see through all the secrets hidden in the depths of darkness.

In this way, he worked tirelessly for four whole days, searching relentlessly in one dilapidated house after another, not missing any tiny corner that might hold a secret.

During this long and arduous search, Sasuke's anger grew stronger and stronger. When he thought of his family, which had been passed down for thousands of years, being wiped out overnight, his eyes suddenly widened, and a chilling scarlet color instantly appeared, and his Jade Sharingan instantly opened.

These eyes seemed to be burning with the blazing fire of revenge, giving him a sharper and more incisive insight. But he also knew that the Sharingan consumed a huge amount of chakra, so he quickly closed his eyes, gently rubbed his brows, and forcibly closed the Sharingan, thinking to himself: "The Sharingan really consumes a lot of chakra. In the original work, only Itachi opened it at the age of 8, and most of the others were able to open it at the age of 12 or 13. I can't think about it anymore. I'll take a break and continue searching."

Four days of unremitting efforts finally yielded a rich harvest. He bent down and carefully searched, and found 30,000 taels of silver, a box of extremely sharp, cold-gleaming shurikens, two boxes of well-made kunai, a box of powerful, terrifying detonating talismans, many precious books, five mysterious sealing scrolls, and some priceless fire escape scrolls (including Fire escape: Phoenix Fire Technique and Fire escape: Dragon Fire Technique).

However, he knew very well that this place had obviously been plundered and cleaned up by Konoha's Anbu or Root in advance. Sasuke carefully collected the valuables that could be sold in the past four days (refrigerators, televisions, calligraphy and paintings), quickly formed seals with both hands, and carefully sealed them in the sealing scroll.

On the fifth day, Sasuke came to Nanga Shrine. This is the spiritual sustenance of the family and the supreme symbol of the Uchiha clan. He stepped into this ancient and mysterious shrine and gently fanned the stale and decayed smell that came to his face, as if time had stopped here for a long time.

In an inconspicuous corner, he squatted down, looked carefully, and found a book about the Will of Fire and precious books that recorded the long history of the ninja world. He secretly speculated that this book about the Will of Fire might have been placed here by Uchiha Itachi.

Sasuke longed to understand the specifics of the Will of Fire. After all, the original work had very little description of it, and it could be summed up in empty words like dedication and sacrifice. However, he unexpectedly discovered that there was Uchiha Shisui's training experience (covering illusions and instant body movements). It seems that Uchiha Itachi wanted him to understand the Will of Fire while becoming stronger, so as to avoid going down the wrong path that Itachi believed.

Sasuke couldn't help but sneer, his mouth corners raised, revealing a hint of disdain and ridicule: "Haha, Uchiha Itachi is so stupid, he has been completely brainwashed by the so-called Will of Fire. The original work also said that the rest of the Uchiha clan is short-sighted and other ridiculous words. Konoha has been corrupted to such an extent, but he still insists on protecting Konoha and the Land of Fire. I can only say that Uchiha Itachi is indeed an outstanding ninja, and his ability is indeed admirable, but I absolutely do not agree with what he did."

He carefully held the remaining books tightly in his arms and kept them, preparing to study them carefully in the future, because he knew that these precious books were the key to understanding the history of the ninja world.

At this moment, standing in the center of the Nanga Shrine, Sasuke held his head high, his eyes as firm as a rock, and secretly vowed: "No matter how many difficulties and obstacles there are on the road ahead, no matter what kind of hardships and setbacks I encounter, I must make the truth of the destruction of my family known to the world, and make those conspirators pay an extremely painful price for their heinous crimes!"

For example, in the future, Sasuke is likely to encounter many obstacles from other forces, such as the covetous covetousness of the Akatsuki organization, or the insidious and cunning secret calculations of other ninja villages. However, with his unswerving belief and constantly improving strength, he successfully broke through difficulties and turned danger into safety time and time again.

Sasuke knows very well that this road is full of endless unknowns and deadly dangers, but he is fearless and never backs down. The road ahead is still long, and Sasuke's journey of revenge has just begun.
