Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 96: Petrification, Rumors

"Okay, Mr. Filch. There's a rough result," said Aiden.

Filch swallowed nervously, waiting for the final verdict.

"I'm going to give you an idea, but because you are the first generation, the success rate may be very low."

Aiden's eyes were solemn, and his pair of heterochromatic pupils pierced directly into people's hearts.

But in Filch's eyes, Aiden's eyes and delicate face made him look like an angel sent by God to save people from suffering.

"Oh, Mr. Prewett, I would, I would give anything."

Filch's eyes were bloodshot.

"Okay, I need you to learn meditation as much as possible from now on. At the same time, I also need you to try to keep your state in a stable range.

Once I find a way to enhance the mental priority of ordinary people, we will start the experiment." Aiden said.

"Your will." Filch bent down to Aiden.

Aiden and Filch then left the Room of Requirement.

......

Soon, Halloween arrived.

Harry, Hermione and Ron were invited to attend the 500th anniversary of Sir Nick's death.

The decoration inside the venue was tattered and the tables were covered with smelly food.

"Oh, this is too bad." Ron sighed as he looked at the venue.

"I guess only these rotten foods can make ghosts feel." Hermione said.

On the other side, Aiden was attending the school's Halloween party.

"This is the best Halloween dinner ever," Edmund exclaimed.

The table was filled with densely packed food.

In the middle of the hall, a large group of skeletons were singing and dancing happily.

"Principal Dumbledore actually invited the Skeleton Dance Troupe." Ethan exclaimed.

"Those who didn't come will probably regret it."

Aiden looked at the empty seat at the Gryffindor table, raised a glass of iced lemonade and drank it.

Finally, the dinner came to an end with the bow of the Skeleton Dance Troupe.

Everyone left the venue happily.

At this moment, at the corner of the corridor, Harry and his friends found bloody words.

"The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the Heir, beware." Hermione read the words on the wall.

"It's blood." Ron smelled blood.

"Oh, and Filch's cat." Harry walked over and took down the petrified Mrs. Norris.

Coincidentally, the crowd that had just left the show also came into the corridor.

Everyone looked at Harry holding the petrified cat and was stunned for a moment.

Colin took out his camera and wanted to take a picture of his idol, but Aiden grabbed his camera.

"Hates of the heir, beware, you're next, Mudblood." Malfoy taunted Hermione.

Aiden glanced at him, and the Slytherin stopped whispering as if he had been choked.

"What are you doing here? Get out of the way." Filch squeezed in.

"Potter, you are..."

Then Filch saw his petrified cat.

"Loris, no, who made you like this?"

Then Filch looked at Harry with envy.

"It's you. I want you to pay for Norris's life." Filch rushed towards Harry angrily.

"Filch, calm down." Aiden used soothing words on Filch.

"Okay, Argus, let's find a secluded place first." Dumbledore appeared.

He dismissed the little wizards around.

"Ah, I knew it, it's a pity I wasn't there. Then why don't you go to my office?" Lockhart began his performance.

The professors around him glanced at him with contempt, and then everyone came to Lockhart's office.

"Ah, the petrification curse, maybe I just know how to remove the curse for her." Lockhart patted his chest.

"But I still don't know how she was petrified," Dumbledore said softly.

"It's him, Potter." Filch was about to go up and catch Harry again.

"Tell me what you think, Aiden." Dumbledore quietly diverted everyone's attention.

"This is a powerful dark magic. In my opinion, Mr. Potter's magical attainments have not yet reached this level."

Aiden deliberately called Harry's full name, mixing his ability into his voice to make himself more convincing.

"Oh, I don't think so. Mr. Potter and his friends were not present while we were enjoying the dinner."

Snape walked out and slowly approached Harry.

"Perhaps we should revoke his status as a Quidditch player so that he can reflect on himself."

"Oh, don't worry about that, Dean Snape." Professor McGonagall emphasized the last two words.

"Okay, Argus, we'll take care of Madam Norris. Pomona has planted a batch of mandrakes, and we'll be able to unpetrify her when they're mature."

Dumbledore made the final decision and ended the conversation.

The next day, the rumor that Harry had killed Mrs. Norris spread throughout Hogwarts.

On this day, a group of people were taking a History of Magic class.

When Binns closed the textbook and was about to announce the end of the get out of class, Hermione raised her hand.

"Professor, can you tell us about the Chamber of Secrets at Hogwarts?"

The other noisy little wizards also quieted down and prepared to listen to Professor Binns' story.

"Oh, Chamber of Secrets, a familiar word. It seems that it was opened fifty years ago."

Professor Binns looked around at the young wizards, the light reflected from his glasses covering his eyes.

Then he began to tell the story, his deep voice seemed to penetrate time.

“Hogwarts was founded by four great wizards of the time.

They are Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin."

"Among them, the three founders believed that students could be admitted without distinction, but Salazar Slytherin hoped to further screen the students who came in. He believed that only those who were born in wizard families were qualified to learn magic."

"Thus, he was unable to convince the others and decided to leave the school. According to legend, before he left, he built a secret room in the castle."

"He sealed this secret room before he left, and it will remain until his true heir returns to the school, and the heir will open the secret room."

"Then the heir will be able to weed out the young wizards that Slytherin believes are unworthy of studying in this school."

When Professor Binz said the last sentence, he deliberately raised his voice and frightened all the little wizards.

"Haha, look at you guys. This secret room is just a legend, and no one has ever actually seen it."

After saying that, Professor Binns walked out of the classroom with a big laugh.

Only a bunch of frightened little wizards were left looking at each other.

"This old man is quite interesting."

A voice came from behind Harry and Ron, startling the two men who had calmed down again.

"Oh, my dear brother, you know, scaring people can also kill them." Ron waved his fist.

"No, I just passed by the door and thought there was a story to tell, so I slipped in. I walked up to you guys and sat down openly."

A hypnotist used psychological invisibility, but he muttered that he was above board.
