Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 87 Penalties and Hearings

Dumbledore was followed by Professor McGonagall, and they took Aiden to Snape's office.

"You were almost seen by Muggles. Do you know what the consequences would be if Muggles saw us? Our world would be exposed."

Snape's roar came from the general office.

"I promise you, if you were Slytherin students and I had the power to decide whether you stayed or went, you would have been sent home tonight."

"I'm afraid not. Professor McGonagall is the head of Gryffindor, isn't she?" Dumbledore pushed the door open.

"Principal, these two children..." Teacher Si was about to complain.

"Professor, they violated the school rules, and the performance of that car is absolutely up to standard, and our world is safe, right?" Aiden interrupted him.

"Ravenclaw interrupted the professor, deduct ten points." Snape directly chose to deduct points

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall were ashamed, but fortunately school had not started yet.

"Also, Aiden Prewett, what are you doing here? Do you think Potions is too easy?" Snape gave Aiden a death stare.

"Well, that car was built by this kid, and now the car seems to be having a temper tantrum. We'll need him to get it back later." Dumbledore spread his hands to indicate that he was the only one who could do it.

Professor McGonagall looked at Aiden as if he were a monster.

"Hmph." Snape stopped talking, turned and left the office.

"Professor, are you going to expel us?" Ron said dejectedly.

"Not today, Mr. Weasley, but..."

Then, Professor McGonagall severely criticized the two of them and punished them with detention for an entire semester.

"Professor, the semester hadn't started yet when we drove away, so Gryffindor shouldn't have been penalized for us, right?"

Before leaving, Harry looked at McGonagall anxiously. Professor McGonagall glared at him sternly, with the corners of her mouth slightly curled up.

"Well, Mr. Prewett, it's our turn now, Professor McGonagall will take you into the Forbidden Forest to deal with the car.

And I have to go to the Ministry of Magic."

Dumbledore winked at Aiden and turned away.

"Let's go, Mr. Prewett." Professor McGonagall said seriously.

But this seriousness disappeared after leaving the castle, and she asked with a little curiosity,

"Mr. Prewett, may I ask how you were able to give that car its own mind?"

"Professor, haven't you already given your transformed creations independent thinking?" Aiden was a little confused.

"Yes, but the mind transfer achieved by Transfiguration is only temporary," Professor McGonagall explained.

"Well, I'll explain it to you in detail when we catch the car," Aiden suggested.

"Ok."

The two men entered the forbidden forest while discussing.

In the Forbidden Forest, a mad Ford Anglia was violently ramming into a tree.

The runes engraved on the car body were emitting a little fluorescence, and with the blessing of magic, the car was not deformed by the impact.

When the car saw Aiden appear, it stopped running wildly and gradually calmed down.

Aiden raised his right hand, and a long staff appeared.

"Nice staff, Aiden," Professor McGonagall praised.

"Thank you, Professor."

"Quickly imprison him."

As the magic was released, the Ford Anglia stopped where it was.

"Professor, let me show you."

Aiden touched it gently with his long staff, and the memory of Arthur and his children playing together slowly emerged on the body of the car.

"This is the memory of old Mr. Weasley."

"Yes, professor, in my uncle's and my research, after a creature's memory is extracted, its own memory will not disappear.

So we stored happy memories in the car body and injected magic into it to nourish it, and finally the car gave birth to thoughts. "

"Yes, our thoughts are made up of memories..." Professor McGonagall fell into deep thought.

"So, professor, how do you give creatures thoughts during transformation?" Aiden asked.

“Ah, of course we naturally mobilize the power of our minds during the transformation process.

Transfiguration is closer to the soul than any other magic, and the ability to change freely is itself a reflection of the human soul."

"Indeed, thank you for your teachings," Aiden said.

"Okay, let's leave the car here for now. Someone will come and take it away tomorrow."

Professor McGonagall reinforced the spell that imprisoned the car.

The two left the Forbidden Forest.

The next day, Dumbledore took Aiden to the familiar old place - the Wizengamot.

This is both the Ministry of Magic's parliament and the Ministry of Magic's court.

Today's hearing will be held in the Wizengamot.

The difference from the last time I came here is that the masters were not invited to participate.

The panel was composed of officials from the Ministry of Magic, but unfortunately, Fudge was incompetent and did not have the ability to control everyone.

Otherwise, what awaits Aiden today is a penalty notice rather than a simple hearing.

Cornelius Fudge sat in the middle, dressed in a robe, surrounded by the council.

Arthur was already sitting in the middle, giving Aiden an awkward smile.

Mrs. Molly glared at the two of them, while Malfoy sat in the audience with a smug smile on his face.

After Aiden took his seat, Fudge banged the hammer.

"Well, we are gathered here today for the hearing on the misuse of Muggle objects by Mr. Arthur Weasley and Mr. Aiden Prewett."

Dolores Umbridge then tactfully handed Fudge a glass of water.

Then she spoke for him in a sweet tone, "Well, let's start the meeting."

Umbridge looked at Arthur and asked him.

"First, Mr. Weasley, do you admit to misusing a Muggle object?"

Umbridge gave Lucius a 'sweet' smile.

"No, have you forgotten that the Hogwarts Express is also a Muggle item?

So when we made the law we excluded magically modified Muggle vehicles from Muggle items.

So technically my car isn't a Muggle item."

Arthur was at ease and not afraid of Umbridge at all.

"Oh, that means you deliberately left loopholes in the legislation." Umbridge continued.

"How is that possible? I was only responsible for submitting the draft. Wasn't it the Ministry of Magic that reviewed and approved it? And it also has Minister Fudge's signature on it."

Arthur calmly dragged Fudge into the water.

"Well, Assistant Umbridge, please do not mention irrelevant matters in the court." Fudge's eyes were evasive.

"Oh, your will, Minister."

Umbridge saw that Arthur was really difficult to deal with, so she changed her mind and set her sights on another person.

"Oh, look at this handsome little face, you must be the rising star in the wizarding world, Mr. Aiden Prewett."

There was a glimmer of malice in Umbridge's eyes, and then she smiled sweetly.

But how could this be hidden from a Sequence 6 hypnotist?

"Mr. Prewett, there are rumors that you were also involved in the modification of this car. May I ask if you have violated the Ministry of Magic's ban on casting spells?"

"Of course not, ma'am. If you don't believe me, you can test my wand. The longest retroactive effect of the Flashback Charm is three months."

As he spoke, Aiden raised his wand and looked at everyone with a harmless expression.

"Are you sure? If you lie, you will be severely punished, and I will also ask the Ministry of Magic to take away the Prewett Mansion."

"Tsk, this woman." Aiden was a little impatient.

Then Aiden glanced at her gently, and an invisible force brushed over Umbridge.

"First, torture him with instruments of torture, and then take away his property. Prewitt's assets are so tempting."

Umbridge revealed her inner darkness to everyone.

Aiden immediately pretended to be pitiful and used his ability to magnify the sympathy of those around him.

"Uncle, I'm so scared. She's going to torture me and confiscate my home. Will I have to beg on the street?"

Arthur reacted and immediately cooperated with Aiden.

"No kid, we will continue to raise you and we will protect you."

Arthur pulled Aiden into his arms, patting his back gently while looking around with an accusing look.

"Oh, so pitiful.", "There's no need to target orphans and widows.", "Weasley has gotten into such a mess, doesn't Malfoy want to let them go?"......

In an instant, the direction of public opinion began to change, and reporters from the Daily Prophet captured the scene.

The jury also began to lean towards it.
