Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 45 The Beginning of the Challenge

Aiden knew that these guys were ready to commit suicide, so he quickly pulled away.

"Oh, I suddenly remembered that I still have alchemical experiments to do. You guys get busy. Bye~"

Aiden chased away Harry who was still clinging to his legs, and stood up and left.

The weather was very hot and humid. Ron lazily lay on the ground and said

"Bye, Aiden. And Harry, relax a bit. Hermione is right, as long as Dumbledore is near the stone, we'll be safe."

Besides, we have no evidence that Snape has found a way to get past Fluffy. Last time, Fluffy nearly tore his leg off, and I don’t think he’ll take that risk again in the near future.”

After listening to Ron's speech, Hermione nodded.

The owl flew over the three of them and headed for Hagrid's hut. Harry looked at the owl and an idea crossed his mind.

"Hagrid! I get it."

Harry got up and ran to Hagrid's hut, with Hermione and Ron hurrying after him.

The three men learned from Hagrid that the man in black learned the weakness of the three-headed dog from Hagrid.

"I knew that Snape wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone and restore his master Voldemort to health"

Harry, who came out of Hagrid's hut, connected the whole thing together, forming a logical closed loop.

"Then what should I do?" Ron was at a loss.

"We have all overlooked one thing. Who is the wizard that Voldemort fears the most?"

Hermione's mind worked quickly and she came up with a solution.

"Dumbledore." *2

The three hurried to Professor McGonagall's office, explained Snape's trick to her, and tried to find Dumbledore.

"Dumbledore was owled away by the Ministry of Magic, and I don't know how you found out about the Philosopher's Stone.

But it is well protected, it is not something you should worry about, go back to the dormitory."

Professor McGonagall looked at the three of them sternly and sent them away. Not getting a response, the three of them walked out dejectedly.

"So, you're going to stand by and watch until then, Mr. Prewett."

Professor McGonagall lowered her head to mark the test papers, and in the meantime pointed out that Aiden was hiding under the Disillusionment Curse.

"Haha, professor, you are really mean-spirited. Aren't you worried that something might happen to them?"

Aiden smiled and stepped out from the shadows.

"If something happens, who can hurt them under our care, with just a remnant soul and a self-righteous servant?"

Professor McGonagall's speech was so domineering that Aiden couldn't help but applaud her.

On the other side, the trio who came to the corridor conspired loudly with Snape, and the person involved heard it directly.

"Good afternoon." Snape said in a deep voice, "How can three Gryffindor young people like you be willing to stay in the house when the weather outside is so nice?"

After saying that, he forced a weird, awkward smile.

"We just—"

Hermione stumbled over her words, but Snape interrupted her.

"Be careful. I personally guarantee that if you wander around at night again, you will be expelled."

After saying this, he threw away his robe, walked with the wind, and disappeared into the corridor.

"What should we do?" Ron asked.

"Under the trapdoor, tonight," Harry replied.

Back to Aiden, saying goodbye to Professor McGonagall, Aiden walked out of the classroom with an expression of having eaten all he could.

He put on the Disillusionment Charm and prepared to go to the cafeteria to enjoy his lunch.

When passing by a professor's office, the door suddenly opened, a gust of cold wind blew in, and Aiden was grabbed by the arm and forcibly pulled out of the Disillusionment Charm.

Aiden was grabbed by a big hand and the door closed with a bang.

At the same time, Aiden was also pressed against the wall. It was a wall-dong, a wall-dong of extremely high purity.

"Again?" Aiden rolled his eyes.

"Our dear Ravenclaw genius seems to have forgotten the ban on casting spells in the corridor." Teacher St. came up and spoke.

"Look at what you said. How could that be? I'm a good student who follows the rules." Aiden avoided the question.

"That's enough. I don't have time to listen to your clever tricks."

Snape took out his magic spell and cast it, sealing the entire office with a silent spell.

"Listen, keep a close eye on your empty-headed cousin and that arrogant bastard, and don't let them get into danger." Snape stared at Aiden's eyes viciously.

"Professor, the prophecy that has been made is difficult to resist. The more we struggle, the more likely we are to become part of the prophecy."

Aiden said something that had no beginning or end.

"Then smash this damn prophecy. Why must it be her?"

Professor Snape's words seemed to be grammatically incorrect, but...it also seemed not to be.

Seeing Snape lost in thought, Aiden bowed slightly and left the office.

At night, Aiden held Rada in his arms and stayed in the Gryffindor common room.

Harry and the other two sneaked down the stairs and were stopped by Neville. Hermione took decisive action and cast a petrifying spell on Neville.

Neville fell straight to the ground, and Aiden appeared.

"poor child."

Aiden carried Neville to the sofa and conjured a blanket to cover him.

He put down Lada in his arms and said, "Lada, help me watch him."

"Oh, everyone is in the Gryffindor common room, what's there to see?" Rada said dissatisfiedly.

"I'll treat you to a nice dinner later," Aiden tempted.

"Good." Lada (˙?˙?)

Arriving at the corridor on the third floor, Fluffy had already woken up, and no screams were heard from under the floor door. It seemed that Harry and the others had entered the third level.

Lu Wei looked at Aiden fiercely, thinking, 'I let the last few thieves run away, and now a weak one has come. I should leave his body behind so that I can ask the master for the reward later.'

So, Lu Wei pounced towards Aiden viciously.

Aiden stood there as if he was frightened. Lu Wei bit through Aiden, and Aiden slowly turned into a silver-white butterfly and flew away.

Then, Aiden appeared behind the three-headed dog, "shocked", "confused", and "fainted".

After a series of combos, Lou Williams fell into a baby-like sleep.

Aiden stood there and stroked his chin.

"That doesn't make sense. Old Bee isn't here?"

Aiden was somewhat surprised and used his ability to scan the surroundings again, but indeed he did not find any strong mental fluctuations.

"Are they so relaxed? Aren't they afraid that Quirrell will use a killing curse to take Harry away?"

Aiden felt a little bit unbelievable and hurried to follow.

After Aiden jumped into the partition door, a figure in a gray robe took off his invisibility cloak.

"Wow, luckily Harry didn't take this thing away, otherwise it would take a lot of effort to avoid that kid's mind detection."

Then he swung his wand, and two silver lights appeared in the air.

"Minerva, please come to the corridor on the third floor."

"Severus, please go and inform Poppy to prepare for treatment."
