Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 24: Another Invitation and Runes

The next morning, George and Fred prepared to go to Hogsmeade to purchase goods. An unknown sponsor placed a large order with them.

The two walked through the stairs to the common room and found Aiden sleeping there.

"Look who we found." George looked at Fred and gave him a sly grin.

"Isn't this our dear brother, Aiden?" Fred also gave a knowing smile.

The two men took out their wands, conjured feathers, and approached Aiden with wicked smiles.

"Well, Lada, stop it, let me sleep for a while." Aiden muttered in his sleep.

At this time, the sky was gradually getting brighter, and the Gryffindor wizards came out one after another. They found that George and Fred were teasing Aiden, which aroused everyone's interest.

After being harassed repeatedly, Aiden finally woke up, opened his beautiful heterochromatic eyes, and found himself surrounded by a crowd. He was stunned for a moment.

"Cool, Aiden, you actually stayed out all night and stayed here in Gryffindor." George put his arm around Aiden's shoulder.

"That's so interesting. I'm going to do that next time." Fred took over the conversation.

"Everyone, this is our youngest brother, Aiden Prewett." George and Fred pulled Aiden up and introduced him to everyone.

"Good morning, everyone from Gryffindor." Aiden greeted them a little confused.

"Haha." "Good morning." "Hello." "Interesting, I want to go to Ravenclaw next time too."..... "He is so cute."... Everyone in Gryffindor responded.

'Wait, has something strange sneaked in? ' Aiden thought as he left the Gryffindor common room.

After returning to his dormitory and washing up, he went to the hall for dinner. His roommates excitedly asked Aiden about his experience in Gryffindor last night.

"Wait, you know it now?" Aiden was a little surprised.

"It's been rumored for a long time that a Ravenclaw went to spend the night in Gryffindor," Edmund said vaguely while eating bread.

"What do Gryffindor dormitories look like? I heard that the rooms in the tower are circular." Oliver also spoke up.

"I didn't go in. I just spent the night in the common room," Aiden said.

"That would be boring." Ethan came closer.

It turns out that in the 1990s when there was a lack of electronic entertainment, gossip was the best entertainment.

When Aiden heard the rumor again, the content had changed to that a young wizard in Ravenclaw could not bear the persecution of his roommate and was preparing to transfer to Gryffindor.

After the Transfiguration class in the morning, Professor McGonagall rarely changed her serious image, teased Aiden, and asked if he needed help in transferring Aiden to another hospital.

In the afternoon, Aiden decided to do something big. He found Draco walking on the street with two followers.

"Mr. Malfoy, you should know why I am here."

Aiden's vertical pupils exuded an irresistible majesty, and Draco and the other two were so frightened that they dared not say a word.

"You...what do you want to do, my father..." Draco's voice trembled a little.

"You have tarnished the art of wizarding dueling, Mr. Malfoy, and you have also blasphemed the honor of your family."

Aiden looked at the three men with disdain.

"You dragged me into this dispute just for the sake of pride, Malfoy. This is not the self-restraint that a noble should have, is it?

Now, not only did you do that, you also sabotaged the sacred wizard duel, so I am mentioning the duel to you here.

You can look for senior students as much as you want, as long as the purebloods are willing to lose face."

"Just wait, Slytherin won't be afraid of you." Crabbe and Goyle shouted.

Draco's face turned pale and he didn't say anything.

"Then, at eleven o'clock, the location will be in your Slytherin common room." Aiden left after leaving.

Granted, the purebloods were still weakened by the onslaught of the Dark Lord and Muggle wizards, but they were still a formidable force.

Their long history has allowed them to accumulate vast knowledge and secrets unknown to ordinary people, and Aiden really wants to get his hands on them.

Since Slytherin respects the strong, let's start with these little wizards.

"Ding, the Dark Lord's Path has been opened, rewards..."

"Shut up, you don't have that ability at all." Aiden rolled his eyes.

In the afternoon, Aiden went to the headmaster's office to receive the rune teaching that Dumbledore promised.

Arrived in front of the gargoyle stone beast door.

"Instructions." asked the stone beast.

"Licorice Wand, Chocolate Frog, Bibi Every Flavour Beans, Lemon Sherbet..."

"You are practicing your lines."

"The instructions are correct." The stone beast stood up and opened the door.

Aiden went through the spiral staircase and arrived at the principal's office, where he saw a bumblebee fishing on the desk.

Dumbledore stopped paddling when he saw Aiden coming and said seriously, "Good afternoon, Aiden. What can I do for you?"

"Come and learn the runes you promised. Don't tell me you are busy. I saw you slacking off." Aiden looked at Dumbledore.

"Oh~, okay, then let's hurry up." Dumbledore smiled.

Taking out Nico's book, Dumbledore spoke slowly, "Aiden, runes are not just a combination of letters. They are the language used by ancient wizards to communicate with heaven and earth and understand the universe."

He pointed to the first rune on the page and continued, "This rune represents 'flame'. It is the oldest known rune in existence. Flame symbolizes the starting point of civilization and can dispel darkness.

You see, this stroke represents the lighting of the flame, and this stroke represents the keeping of the flame burning.”

Aiden listened attentively, his fingers following Dumbledore's instructions, gently tracing the mysterious rune in the air.

As he moved, a subtle force seemed to flow through his fingertips. It was the magic of runes flowing quietly.

Aiden learned quickly and Dumbledore taught very attentively, and they soon completed today's study.

Aiden: 'Rune Mastery plus one'

After class, Dumbledore took out the pile of cockroaches and looked at Aiden eagerly, but was rejected by Aiden.

"By the way, Aiden, I have one last thing to tell you." Dumbledore looked at Aiden.

"What is it, Professor?" Aiden asked back.

"Be gentle at night."

"?" Aiden immediately understood what Dumbledore was referring to.

"Professor, it doesn't depend on me, it depends on how many people will come." Aiden shook his head.

"Besides, you are largely responsible for Slytherin's fall to this level."

"Yes, why did Slytherin, who once pursued glory, abandon his bottom line?" Dumbledore sighed.

"Then tell me how many people will come tonight." A sly look flashed in Aiden's eyes.

"Aren't you very confident? Just guess it yourself." Dumbledore kept the suspense.
