Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 22 Duel Invitation and Roleplay

Ever since Harry stood out in the flying class, the grudge between him and Draco seemed to be getting deeper and deeper, but young Harry did not regret it. On the contrary, he was proud because he defeated Slytherin for Gryffindor.

Draco, feeling humiliated, had been thinking of ways to take revenge on Harry. One day, Draco was strolling with two followers, walking with a breeze and looking very impressive. Unfortunately, in the corridor, he saw the guy he hated the most, Harry.

Draco looked at Potter's disgusting expression and immediately came up with an idea.

"Good luck Potter, I wasn't expelled last time. It's a pity that I didn't see you take the train back to your Muggle world."

"You were lucky that you didn't break your neck last time. How dare you, little Death Eater, talk nonsense here? Do you want a beating?"

Potter fell into the trap and said what Draco wanted to hear most.

"I'm always happy to help!" Draco said, "Wizards duel tonight at twelve o'clock, would you like to join us?"

"Yes." Ron agreed on Harry's behalf. "I'll be his substitute. Who's your substitute?"

Draco thought for a moment and said, "Crabbe is my replacement. See you in the souvenir room, which is often unlocked."

"Wait, in order to prevent you Slytherins from cheating, we need a referee."

After years of being influenced by Aiden, Ron finally learned his lesson and put forward new requirements. (Aiden was relieved.)

"Okay, then how about letting Aiden from Ravenclaw be the referee? You guys are very familiar with him, right?" Draco smiled wickedly.

"You said it, don't go back on your word," Harry added hastily.

"It's a deal." *4

After Draco left, Ron and Harry looked at each other in silence.

"What is a wizard's duel and what are substitutes?" asked Harry.

"Oh, the so-called substitute is the person who takes over after you die. Usually, only real wizard duels will result in death. As for you and Malfoy, you will probably fight with your fists. Besides, there is Aiden, who is the best little wizard I have ever seen."

Ron answered Harry nonchalantly, and a voice came from the side

"excuse me."

The two looked up and saw that it was Hermione.

"Can't we even have a quiet dinner?" said Ron.

Hermione ignored him and said to Harry: "I just heard you and Malfoy talking..."

"I wish you hadn't heard that," Ron muttered.

"You can't do this. Night outings are against school rules and you will lose a lot of points." Hermione said anxiously.

"It's none of my business," said Harry.

"Goodbye," said Ron.

In the evening, Ron and Harry were waiting for Aiden in the corridor leading to the library. They knew that Aiden, who had eaten and drunk his fill, would definitely come here.

"Ah, there he comes," Ron said to Harry.

The two of them hurriedly surrounded him.

"Aiden,......."

Seeing his dear cousin and his completely unguarded brain, Aiden knew his thoughts and what had happened without even using Legilimency.

"Ok, I get it. You want me to be the referee. What's the price, Ron?"

Aiden looked at Ron and Harry, his pair of beautiful heterochromatic eyes reaching people's hearts.

"I'll treat you to some dessert from Bee Duke. George and Fred have started a purchasing agency business." Rich man Harry spoke decisively.

Aiden looked at the two and smiled, "Okay."

"Yeah." *2 After getting Aiden's promise, the two ran away quickly and went back to prepare for the duel.

"Aiden, you can't..."

Hermione came out from behind a pillar, and it seemed that she had been keeping an eye on the two of them.

"Oh, Hermione, long time no see. We haven't had a chat like this for a long time since the Sorting." Aiden interrupted.

"Aiden, you know that's not the point. You can't follow them and break school rules." Hermione said.

"Hermione, sometimes I don't think you're a Gryffindor. You care too much about the so-called school rules. I guess you have a hard time in Gryffindor, don't you?"

Aiden looked at Hermione and hinted. Hermione felt that Aiden's gaze was very scorching, so she relaxed her guard and began to talk to Aiden.

"Yes, I clearly followed the school rules and I was clearly doing this for their own good, but Parvati and Lavender both distanced themselves from me, and the other girls stopped talking to me."

Aiden started walking and waved to Hermione, who followed him.

"But Hermione, you also know how unpleasant it feels to be preached to. Have your parents ever preached to you since you were a child? How do you feel about it yourself?" Aiden used his ability to make his voice softer.

"My parents did that for my own good," Hermione said stubbornly.

"But we are still young, and it is our privilege to make some harmless mistakes," Aiden said with a smile.

"Will their breaking of school rules hurt others, or cause damage to Hogwarts?"

"No." Hermione's voice sounded a little depressed.

"Then try to tolerate them, let them make mistakes as much as they want, and they will naturally turn back when they hit a wall. Also, leaving room for each other is the way to make friends." Aiden led Hermione and they arrived at the gate of Gryffindor unknowingly.

"I'll try, and you really act like an old man." Hermione stuck out her tongue at Aiden and gave the command to enter the common room.

(=w=), Aiden looked at Hermione kindly as she left, and was delighted to see his role-playing progress increase.

"Young kids are always full of troubles, aren't they, Aiden?"

A voice came from behind Aiden.

"But don't count on young people to resolve the problem on their own. The experience of our predecessors can help us avoid many detours, Professor Dumbledore."

Aiden knew who was coming without even turning his head.

"It's a beautiful night, would you like to take a walk together?" Dumbledore invited.

"I can't ask for it."

As night falls, Hogwarts Castle loses the hustle and bustle of the day and is covered with a veil of tranquility and mystery. The moonlight shines through the tall pointed windows and sprinkles on the winding stone corridors, forming mottled light and shadows.

An old man and a child were walking in the castle.

"Aiden, you may have noticed that Harry has had a rough life and he will have to bear a great burden in the future. This is all my fault. Can you please help me take care of Harry?"

"Professor, there is no need for that. Harry is my good friend. If the time comes, I will not stand by and watch him die. Not to mention that my silly cousin has taken the initiative to get involved."

"Then I feel much more relieved." Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief.

"So, Professor, what's the price?"

"? Didn't you just say he was your good friend?"

"He is him, and you are you. You are the Chief Magician of the Wizengamot. You wouldn't want to take advantage of a little wizard like me for free, would you?" Aiden said with a sly smile.

"Well, how could that be? I heard from Flitwick that you were going to create your own spell. Did you run into trouble with runes? How about I teach you runes?"

"No problem. Harry is my beloved friend. I will take good care of him."

"Ding, huh"

"System, shut up."
