Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 18: Rada speaks and the Transfiguration Class.

Last night's rain covered Hogwarts with a layer of fog. The sunlight shining through the mist produced a Tyndall effect, adding a touch of fantasy to Hogwarts in the early morning.

Aiden got up early, the excitement of arriving at Hogwarts seemed to have exhausted his roommates, who were all still in a sweet dream.

Rada noticed Aiden's movement and ran over, stretching beside Aiden.

Outside the window, the sun gently caresses the earth with its warm but not dazzling light. The air is filled with a faint warmth, making people feel comfortable and peaceful, as if the whole world is wrapped in a layer of soft golden gauze, neither too warm nor too warm.

It was a rare good day in England, and there were still two hours before the morning Transfiguration class, so Aiden decided to go out for a walk with the cat.

Strolling beside the Black Lake, the breeze blowing through the woods brought fresh air. Lada was playing happily on the grass, and Aiden was leaning under a tree reading a book.

The lake, the cat and the little wizard reading a book formed a beautiful scene, but the thing that spoiled the scenery was that although Aiden seemed to be reading a book, he was actually chatting with the system.

"System, how did Professor McGonagall discover that I cast a spell last night?"

"Ding, wizards themselves do not generate magic power. They use the magic power of the world. It is not surprising that adult wizards' senses are immersed in the flow of magic power for many years, so it is not surprising that they have certain abilities."

"So, will wizards develop organs that store magic power?"

"Ding, yes. Actually, the magicization of a single organ in the body is a sign of a wizard's adulthood. This process is completed through systematic learning of knowledge and spellcasting skills. They switch from using the magic power of the world to cast spells with their own magic power combined with the magic power of the world. This process reduces the power of the spell and requires the cooperation of a wand, but it greatly increases the safety of the wizard's spellcasting."

"Ding! When wizards have accumulated a huge amount of knowledge and spellcasting experience, their magical organs will increase and form a set of interconnected systems. This is also a sign that they have become masters in their corresponding fields."

"What about me? Taking a magic potion to gain extraordinary powers also counts as organ magicization?"

"Ding, the process is similar, but the host first completed the magicization of the organs through a shortcut, and then taught himself magic to make up for the knowledge. The only thing he lacks now is spellcasting experience."

Just as Aiden was concentrating on talking to the system, Rada, who had had enough fun, ran back. Seeing Aiden in a daze, a human-like teasing appeared on the cat's face.

"Hey, shit shoveler, I've had enough fun, it's time to go home, stop staring blankly, you're just not doing anything important all day long."

Aiden, who was distracted, was startled when he heard the long-lost Chinese language and looked down at Rada.

"Good fellow, Lada, you can speak now? You smell like Dongbei Dazi, you really are from that place."

Aiden picked up Lada helplessly and smoothed her fur.

"Of course not. It's a purebred Northeastern leopard cat that speaks both Chinese and English." Rada yawned.

"Okay, you're awesome." Aiden carried Rada and walked back to the castle.

When he returned to the dormitory, several roommates had also gotten up. Aiden distributed the breakfast he brought back and the copied class schedule to them.

"Godfather." *3

"Stop messing around, hurry up, don't be late for class."

After eating and drinking, the four of them walked through the corridor and came to the stairs. There were a total of 142 staircases in Hogwarts, some of which were spacious and clean.

Some were narrow and wobbly, some would lead to a different place on a certain Friday, and some had disappearing staircases that forced you to jump to get up.

After a lot of trouble, Aiden finally arrived at the Transfiguration classroom. There were not many little wizards in the classroom, but there was a tabby cat sitting on the podium in the middle of the classroom.

After exchanging a glance with the tabby cat, Aiden hurriedly pulled his roommate to find a place to sit down.

"Aiden, why are you in such a hurry? Professor McGonagall hasn't arrived yet."

Oliver, who knew very little about the wizarding world, did not understand at the moment that the word danger was already looming over his head.

Aiden looked at Edmund, then glanced at the tabby cat, and Edmund quickly understood.

"Okay, prepare for the class first, or you might fall behind in class." Edmund came out to smooth things over.

So a few of them took out their books, and other little wizards also entered the classroom one after another. As the class time was getting closer, Ron and Harry were going to be late, and Aiden mourned for them in his heart.

Finally, Harry and Ron broke into the classroom, and Professor McGonagall demonstrated her Animagus skills to everyone and launched a map-changing threat.

"A keen observation, Mr. Prewett." She then gave everyone a lecture: "Transfiguration is arguably one of the most complex and dangerous spells you will learn at Hogwarts."

"Anyone who wants to mess up my class can get out right now and never come back."

Then she turned the table into a pig and back again. Everyone was amazed by her unique skills and wanted to try it.

After explaining a long paragraph of theory, Professor McGonagall gave each person a match and said, "Your task today is to turn this match into a needle."

When Aiden got the match, he looked at it and turned it into a needle without even using his wand.

"Excellent wandless spellcasting, Mr. Prewett. I will give Ravenclaw ten points, but since you have made so much progress ahead of the others, there will be no chance next time."

Sure enough, Professor McGonagall was very fair, and Aiden Lu's move also aroused the interest of other young wizards.

Seamus of Gryffindor waved his wand vigorously, successfully causing an explosion, which also blackened Neville's face.

Professor McGonagall had no choice but to go over and help clean up. As Professor McGonagall left, Edmund, Ethan, and Oliver gathered around.

"How did you do it?" Oliver asked on behalf of the other two.

"Faith, my friend, believing is your magic." Aiden made a bad joke, but unfortunately no one followed it.

"Ding, ha." A certain gem smiled without saying anything.

"Oh, this is too difficult. Matches are made of wood and needles are made of metal. How can these two things be transformed into each other?" Obviously, Oliver, who came from the scientific world, thought this was unscientific.

"Then look at me."

Aiden looked into Oliver's eyes, stretched out his right hand and snapped his fingers, giving Oliver a hint.

“Trying now,” Aiden said.

Oliver waved his wand, and the heads of the matches turned silver and pointed.

"Wow, how did you do this? It wasn't possible just now." Oliver came to his senses and immediately rejected the suggestion.

It's really unnatural to modify common sense. Aiden thought, and then answered Oliver's question.

"I just asked you to temporarily forget the texture of the match and the needle and believe that they are the same kind of things."

Edmund and Ethan on the side also wanted to try it, and Aiden gave them each a hint.

Soon, the matches between the two also changed.

"Well, look at that, Miss Granger's matches have changed, too."

Professor McGonagall finally found someone to show her off and held up Hermione's matches for everyone to see.

"Five points to Gryffindor." Professor McGonagall gave the points generously.

Unfortunately, Professor McGonagall did not return to see Aiden and his group, causing Ravenclaw to lose the opportunity to gain extra points.
