Hogwarts's Master of Mind
Chapter 161 Divination
The next day, Aiden got up very early because there was an important class today - divination class.
Edmund was half hanging on the bed. He had no classes in the morning, so Ethan and Aiden didn't wake him up.
The divination classroom was in the North Tower, which no one had been to in the past two years. Aiden and Ethan walked up.
Pushing open the door, everyone entered a rather peculiar room, with a dozen small round tables surrounded by armchairs with printed cushions.
All the curtains were drawn and the candles were covered with thick lampshades. In the darkness, many things seemed to be emitting a faint red light.
There was a huge stove in the middle, and in the middle of the stove was a large copper teapot that was heating up.
Around the walls were shelves filled with dusty feathers, a collection of crystal balls, and teacups.
The strong smell of incense rushed straight into Aiden's nostrils, causing the extremely uncomfortable dragon to frown.
"Is it possible that using incense to suffocate people can help wizards better connect to the collective subconscious ocean?" Aiden touched his chin and prepared to use this as a backup experiment.
"Welcome." A voice flashed out from the thick darkness.
"I wonder when I can see you in the physical world again." Sybill Trelawney stepped out from behind the crowd.
"Come on, sit down, children." Professor Trelawney wanted to greet everyone, but bumped into the table in front of her.
Ethan had begun to become somewhat suspicious of the bumbling professor.
He leaned close to Aiden's ear and said, "Is this professor really capable? Doesn't she teach prophecy? How come she can't even see her own disaster?"
"Maybe this is what it means when a doctor doesn't treat himself." Aiden acted mysteriously.
"Tsk." Ethan didn't fall for it.
"Welcome to the Divination class. I am your professor, Sybill Trelawney." Trelawney sat in front of the fireplace. "I don't often appear in the main building because I think the noise there may interfere with my 'third eye'."
No one responded to this strange declaration, so Trelawney continued,
"Since you have chosen divination, the most difficult subject of magic, I must warn you in advance. If you do not have the vision to see into the future, then I can only teach you very limited content based on books."
"Now, let's move towards the future together. This semester we will mainly study tea leaf divination. Please pick up your teacups."
During the class, Professor Trelawney tirelessly issued death prophecies to the students.
Then he used all kinds of psychological clichés to fool the little wizards, and Aiden also gained some knowledge from it.
After drinking the tea in the cup, the tea leaves will form a dragon head spitting fire, and its two cute little horns are very conspicuous.
"Oh, let me see your tea leaves." Professor Trelawney took Aiden's teacup.
"Ah." She threw the cup back on the table.
"It's 'unknown.'" Trelawney shivered on her hind legs.
"No, isn't this a dragon?" Aiden's forehead was filled with question marks.
"Unknown, the darkest signal in the wizarding world. It symbolizes death." Ethan read out the contents of the book.
Then he turned to Aiden and raised his eyebrows and said, "Haha, Aiden, you are finished."
Obviously, Ethan had doubts about this so-called unknown.
"After all, he is a kid from the world of science." Aiden gave Ethan a thumbs up.
After the divination class, everyone returned to the main tower. Since divination was the last class in the morning, everyone went straight to the cafeteria after class.
Edmund seemed to still be sleeping soundly in the dormitory, so Ethan brought him lunch and left first.
Aiden was left alone, dining at the long Ravenclaw table.
The little witches around looked at Aiden with pitiful eyes, as if he would shatter at any second.
"Oh, what a poor guy.", "His roommates were so scared that they ran away from him.", "Is this what beauty means by fate?", .....
As the discussion grew, the vein on Aiden's forehead also bulged.
"System," Aiden called in his mind.
"Scan completed, confirming that this prophecy has not been linked to the collective subconscious sea." The system's voice entered Aiden's ears.
"So she has the ability to connect to the collective unconscious ocean?" Aiden asked.
'Individual name: Sybill Trelawney, race: human, special occupation: prophet, her great-great-grandmother is the great prophet, Cassandra Trelawney, who has the ability to freely connect to the collective subconscious sea. As her great-great-granddaughter, this ability is weakened.'
'So? ' Aiden waited for the conclusion.
'It's just an old TV with a broken antenna.' System Review
.......
As the most beautiful rose in Ravenclaw, Aiden has a lot of traffic. This ordinary thing was discussed from Tuesday to Friday.
In the Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall taught the young wizards the knowledge of Animagus.
In order to attract the attention of the little wizards, she even performed the cat-transforming skill.
However, her transformation did not attract much attention, which made her a little upset. (Maomao is angry)
Professor McGonagall looked at the regretful eyes of the little witches, and her eyelids twitched slightly on her serious face.
"Another one?" Professor McGonagall couldn't help but raised her eyebrows.
"Yes, Professor, she is such a beauty." The little witch from Ravenclaw replied.
"Listen, kids, I want to emphasize to you once again that prophecy itself is not a rigorous discipline."
Professor McGonagall seemed very angry at Professor Trelawney's behavior.
"So, I hope you won't let some nonsense affect your mood and cause you to fall behind in other subjects."
Harry on the side ignored Professor McGonagall's advice and looked at Aiden with sympathy.
Aiden didn't know how to reply to him, so he could only give him an awkward smile.
After class, Ron took Harry and Hermione to find Aiden.
"So, now that you are all entangled in bad luck, maybe you need to huddle together for warmth." Ron started to speak with intermittent wit.
"Really, Brother Ronnie? Why don't we write a letter for help and ask Aunt Molly what she thinks." Aiden said in a sarcastic tone.
"Huh↘↗" Harry and Hermione shuddered after hearing this.
"Okay, Ron, don't be so superstitious. Professor McGonagall also said that prophecy is not a reliable subject." Hermione advised.
"Oh, really? Professor Trelawney said you don't have the talent. You're not used to being the best and don't want to admit that you're not good at this."
Ron stepped on the landmine accurately, and Hermione hit Ron's leg hard, then turned around and left.
Ron was accurately kicked in the calf and immediately jumped around on the spot, holding his leg.
"Oh, I really don't know how these two people ended up together." Aiden sighed silently in his heart.
He and Harry looked at each other and saw helplessness in each other's eyes.
Harry spread his hands, and so did Aiden. The two of them walked away arm in arm, leaving Ron behind.
"Hey, you two wait for me." Ron's voice echoed in the corridor behind.
Because a certain dragon was in a playful mood, it followed Harry into the Gryffindor common room.
Harry didn't react and took Aiden all the way to his dormitory.
"Wow, you guys actually sleep in a five-person dormitory." Aiden exclaimed.
"Aiden? Oh, by the way, it was you who was pulled just now." Harry slapped his forehead.
Then there was a noise outside and Harry's other roommates came in.
The door was opened, and several eyes looked at each other and stood there in a daze.
"Oh, hello, I'm..."
As Aiden prepared to introduce himself, Dean Thomas recognized him.
"I know, you are Ron's brother, the Rose of Ravenclaw."
"You don't have to say the second half of the sentence, and who gave me this damn name?" A black line fell on Aiden's forehead.
"I heard that it's an organization that has become famous in the school recently. It's called the Mutual Aid Society. I heard that the founder is Slytherin." Seamus came over and said mysteriously.
"Would you like some snacks, Aiden? I still have some voice-changing candies left over from last time." Neville took out some snacks to treat Aiden.
"Oh, this is fun, let me try it." Aiden grabbed one and put it in his mouth.
"Cry." A long eagle cry came from Aiden's mouth.
Soon, this dream walker became one with everyone present.
"How about letting Aiden replace Ron and be our roommate?" Seamus suggested on the spur of the moment.
Coincidentally, Ron pushed the door open at this moment and heard Seamus's NTR speech.
"You... have gone too far." Ron's wails echoed in the Gryffindor tower.
