Hogwarts's Master of Mind

Chapter 12 Towers and Discoveries

Aiden's first meeting with the Savior was hasty. In the penultimate week of July, Aiden went to Hogsmeade, entered Hogwarts through the secret passage of the Duke of Bee, and prepared to go to Hagrid's Hut.

"I'm the only one who has entered the secret passage before entering school." Aiden thought as he came out of the secret passage.

"You look so familiar with the place, it doesn't seem like this is your first time at Hogwarts, Aiden." Dumbledore's voice came from beside Aiden.

"For people like us, keeping secrets in our minds doesn't seem so safe, right, professor?" Aiden laughed.

"I won't pry into other people's secrets easily." Dumbledore refused Aiden's attempt to drag him into the water.

“But the curiosity of young people will.”

Aiden didn't want to talk to Dumbledore any more, so he changed the subject.

"Okay, professor, I'm going to go find your dear gamekeeper. Have you forgotten the task you assigned to me?"

"Yes, you have seen the child, how did you feel?" Dumbledore accompanied Aiden to Hagrid's hut.

"The magic in him is complex, but what is certain is that he is kind. Even when he is the angriest, he still radiates compassion and tolerance." Aiden recalled what he had seen in the reptile house before.

"He's not the kind of person who would break his soul easily," Aiden concluded.

As they talked, they arrived at Hagrid's hut and Dumbledore knocked on the door.

There was a crash from inside the house, and the door opened, revealing a half-giant, perhaps 11.5 feet tall, wearing an oversized moleskin coat.

"Good morning, Mr. Dumbledore."

"Good morning, Hagrid. This gentleman is Aiden. He has not yet started school. I want you to pick up Harry next week and guide him to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies. You should also bring Mr. Aiden with you."

"Okay, Professor."

Aiden and Hagrid greeted each other and got to know each other. Hagrid enthusiastically took out some rock cake and asked Aiden to taste it, but Aiden refused.

After the greetings, Aiden returned to the Burrow. Madam Molly was already preparing to take the twins and Ron to Diagon Alley to buy school supplies.

"Aiden, we are about to set off for Diagon Alley, you can come with us." Mrs. Molly invited Aiden.

"Sorry, aunt. Dumbledore arranged for Hagrid and I to pick up Harry for school. I will go to Diagon Alley to buy them at the end of July." Aiden responded.

"Harry, is that Harry Potter? This is amazing." Ron exclaimed in admiration.

"Humph, that fellow Dumbledore is really getting old and confused. We can obviously take you there, and yet he even requires little wizards to help. He is using child labor." Mrs. Molly said indignantly.

At this time, Aiden saw the mouse in Ron's arms. It was Bill's pet. Bill gave it to Percy, and Percy gave it to Ron.

He squinted his eyes and looked for a while, his pupils erect like a big cat hunting. After a while, he thought of something and looked away.

The Weasleys went to Diagon Alley first, leaving Aiden alone.

At number four, Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey, Mr. Dursley had a bad week. The letter that fell from the sky brought fear to the Dursleys.

"P-Peggy," Vernon gasped.

Dudley tried to grab the letter to read it, but Vernon held it high to prevent him from grabbing it. Peggy grabbed the letter and read a line of words that almost made her faint.

"Fenon, oh my god, Fenon"

"Fernon," said Peggy in a trembling voice, "look at the address—how could they know he slept there? Don't you think they're watching this room all the time?"

"Watching—watching—possibly following us," muttered Vernon.

"What should we do, Vernon? Should we write back? Tell them we don't want to—"

"No," he finally said. "We won't write back. If they don't get an answer... yes, that's great... we don't have to do anything..."

"But--"

"Peggy, we can't let it stay in this house! Didn't we swear to drive away the dangerous hostility when we adopted him?"

"Right - let's get out of here, walk far away, so they can't find us, let's do it."

Fenong pulled out a tuft of his beard and said as calmly as possible, "I order you to pack your things and prepare to leave in five minutes. We must leave here, and you are only allowed to take a few clothes with you. Don't negotiate with me!"

The Dursleys took Harry and drove away from Privet Drive. They traveled a long distance and fled to a tower on an island reef, which they thought was the farthest place they could hide.

As the night progressed, the storm became more violent. Harry couldn't sleep, he felt shivering, looking at Dudley's watch, Harry drew a cake on the ground for himself, ready to celebrate his birthday at twelve o'clock.

At the door of the tower, Aiden and Hagrid stood outside.

"It's terrible weather, but it's very English," Aiden joked.

Hagrid did not respond, his attention completely focused on his upcoming reunion with Harry. He raised his hand and knocked on the door.

After waiting for a long time and no one opened the door, Hagrid lost his patience and used the physical version of the Alaho Hole, successfully destroying the door of the lighthouse.

Entering the tower, the Dursleys looked at Hagrid in horror. Aiden stood beside Hagrid, squinting his eyes at the Dursleys.

"I'm so sorry." Hagrid spoke first.

"Can't you give us a cup of tea? We must have had a hard journey." Aiden said with a smile.

Aiden used his ability to check the Dursleys' emotions and thoughts: fear, panic, protection, love...

"Wait, what do I see? Protection and love, interesting." Aiden continued to look at the Dursley family like a cat that had found a ball of wool.

"I order you to leave immediately, sir! You are trespassing." Although Fenong was very scared, he still spoke while holding the gun.

"Shut up, Dursley, you old scoundrel." Hagrid bent the barrel of the gun, and Vernon accidentally fired the gun in fear.

Aiden then used soothing magic on the Dursleys to calm their fears.

Everything went as expected. Hagrid gave Harry a cake and greeted him.

Aiden took out a mechanical watch he bought at Sainsbury's and gave it to Harry.

"It's you, the one in the reptile house last time."

"We meet again. Hi, my name is Aiden and I'm your future classmate."

Aiden looked at Harry and found that a strange wave was emanating from Hagrid, slowly brushing over Harry and staying on Harry.

Aiden seemed to be somewhat familiar with this power. After recalling it for a while, he suddenly remembered, "This is not......"

"Ding, yes, this is the ocean of collective subconsciousness." The system bubbled.

"So the essence of prophecy magic is just a replica of the writer's ability?"

"Ding, similar but different process."

"I see, this is really interesting."

This observation aroused Aiden's interest and made him want to mess with the prophecy.

"Tsk, you bastard who's typing."

While Aiden was talking to the system, Hagrid had already briefed Harry on the situation, and naturally added some external plug-ins for Dudley.

Ignoring the Dursleys' noise, Hagrid took Aiden and Harry out of the tower.
