Genshin Impact: Liyue's Strongest Thousand Rock Army

Chapter 2: The Battlefield in the Wheat Field

On the dirt road beside the wheat field, Su Ping, who was wearing coarse linen clothes, looked back every few steps. Every time he did so, the girl would hide to the side, but her hiding was full of loopholes that anyone with a discerning eye could see.

"No need to hide, just come out." Su Ping closed his eyes slightly and stared at the girl.

"You can't see me, you can't see me." The girl covered her eyes and muttered to herself.

Su Ping folded his arms and said, "Then I'm leaving. You can hide slowly by yourself!"

"Hey, no, wait for me!" The girl with black hair shouted to catch up.

Su Ping laughed and said, "Why, you're not hiding anymore?"

"Hey, Xiao He won't hide anymore. Brother Su Ping, can you let me follow you?" The girl scratched her head, her smile as clear as a spring.

"No, I have to go home now, and you have to go back too."

"But before Dad left, he asked me to follow you more." Xiao He pinched his fingers and said aggrievedly.

"But you can't follow me all day long. Think about it, what do you call someone who stays with you every day besides your blood relatives?" Su Ping asked.

Xiao He thought for a moment and said, "Husband and wife."

"Yes, Xiao He, you see, your uncle is wrong. You should have your own ideas. If a person does not have his own ideas, he is just a walking corpse. You cannot be controlled by him. Go home quickly!" Su Ping said.

Xiao He was fooled by this and could only nod slightly and agree to go home, because she heard many adults also say that they should listen to Brother Su Ping.

After sending the girl away, Su Ping shook his head slightly. He glanced at the sun, which was almost noon, and prepared to go home.

Walking on the muddy road, Su Ping greeted the neighbors passing by from time to time. Most of the people in the village were farmers. There were no educated people and only a few could read.

Su Ping's mother, Li Ying, was one of those who could read a little, but due to geographical reasons, literacy was of little use.

While walking, Su Ping suddenly stopped and walked back because he saw a fat boy in his teens. Behind the fat boy were several strong teenagers.

That was a wealthy family in the village. The children of Chen Baiwang's family would take a group of lackeys out every day to show off in the village. Almost everyone disliked them, but they dared not say anything.

The reason why Su Ping turned around and left was that he didn't want to cause trouble. After all, if he walked with that kind of person, even if they just passed by each other, who knew if something would suddenly happen, so it was better to avoid him as soon as possible.

But the little fat guy seemed to have come with a purpose. He glanced at the skinny child walking away quickly on the muddy road and shouted loudly: "Isn't that Su the Prodigy? Why is he so scared when he sees me?!"

"Do you think I am much stronger than you?"

The lackeys nearby also laughed loudly, praising the fat man and praising him to the sky, while not forgetting to step on Su Ping to please their master.

But Su Ping did not look back, nor did he say a word in rebuttal. He just thought that they were just a few dogs barking. He had seen a lot of insults and contempt in this world, so he was not going to be led by a few children.

Seeing that he didn't come back to shout, one of them asked, "Mr. Chen, what should we do if this kid doesn't come back?"

"Are you stupid or foolish? If he doesn't come, we'll go to the front and block him. That's all you need to ask!" The little fat man jumped to the front and onto the back of a squatting boy.

The young man shuddered visibly, and then he carried the fat boy on his back and several others started chasing after him. Not far ahead, Su Ping noticed them coming and started running as well, jumping into the wheat field and running along the path between the fields.

If it was just his own business, then no matter what happened to him, people around him would not dare to help because of the money in Chen Baiwang's family. However, the wheat fields were related to the annual harvest and were the biggest source of income for most people in the village.

Whoever stepped on the wheat field was deliberately doing evil. Su Ping felt that this fat man with an empty head would definitely not care about these things, because the fat man probably thought that he was rich and willful, and the worst that could happen was that he would have to pay for the damage, which was not as important as being happy.

The fact was just as Su Ping guessed. Initially, the teenagers did not dare to move too quickly, but the fat boy's words ignited their fighting spirit. "Where's your mother? Go after her. If she breaks her, my father will pay for it!"

At the command, several strong young men jumped directly into the field, not caring about the wheat field. If the wheat was damaged, they would not have to pay for it. At most, they would be scolded. They were used to it.

Su Ping, who was running in the front, looked back and saw those young men stepping directly on the ground and circling around to surround him, so he quickened his pace and headed towards the world next to him.

Anyway, Chen Baiwang is a smart man. He will definitely pay compensation for his son stepping on other people's things. If he doesn't spend money to eliminate the disaster this time, his reputation in the village, which was not very good to begin with, will be completely ruined.

Thinking of this, Su Ping grabbed two stones while running away, holding one in each hand. The stones were about the size of a six-year-old child's palm.

At the next turning, a young man with quick legs had already stopped there, with his arms open and a playful look on his face.

Su Ping's childish face was as calm as water. He swung his right hand and the stone flew out, hitting the boy's eyes. He screamed in pain and covered his injured eye.

In the blink of an eye, Su Ping approached him, kicked his ankle, and then ran away, leaving the boy rolling into the ground.

The fat man who was being carried on his back cursed, "You useless people! We feed you well and you can't even catch a six-year-old snotty kid!"

"If I don't go my way this time, you will have to bear the consequences. Just go home and farm!"

Upon hearing this, the young men were shocked and had to quicken their pace and run for their lives. As a result, the villagers nearby, who already had gloomy faces, almost burst into anger with their eyes.

I don't know which peasant woman yelled, "These little brats are really annoying. How can we tolerate them? If we don't beat them up, how can we be worthy of the land?"

A hoarse male voice sounded: "But that fat kid is Chen Baiwang's son. He dotes on him so much. What can we do?"

"Why don't you just not hit him? Hit the one who stepped on the ground. Could it be that he was the one who messed it up?"

"That's right."

"Get your weapons, don't let these loser kids run away!"

There always needs to be someone to take the lead in everything. A bunch of angry villagers were just looking for a place to vent their anger, and now someone just gave them a pillow when they were about to doze off. They didn't care about anything else, as long as they didn't hurt the fat guy, they would beat up the others first.

Behind them, the peasant woman who had just been lighting the fire was laughing secretly with her hands covering her mouth. She was a middle-aged woman with a lot of white hair on her temples, but she looked quite kind.

The one who asked the question just now was the man in her family, a burly and sturdy man. The two of them looked at each other and smiled.

"Wife, this trick is quite useful."

"Who says it's not true? Do you think the method Su Ping proposed is useful?"

"The child prodigy said that, no wonder."

"By the way, you can chase him too. I'll go call Su Ping's parents over, otherwise it will be troublesome later."

"Okay, I'll go right away." The man carried a hoe on his shoulder and ran away as fast as the wind.

The woman reminded him, "Be gentle with your hands, don't get hurt!"

"I know!" Without looking back, the man waved his hand and ran towards the place where the villagers were shouting and beating.

If Su Ping were here at this moment, he would definitely recognize that the couple singing the same tune were Aunt Zhang, who had delivered him at home, and her husband Uncle Zhang.

"You little bastard, you keep getting naughty. If you come to step on my land, I will beat you to death!"

"You idiots, don't even think about going home for dinner today!"

"You guys, remember this beating and behave yourself from now on, or else, hmph!"

Curses, the sound of whipping flesh, and wailing mixed together and could be heard from far away. Su Ping stood at the edge of the wheat field, his hands on his legs, breathing heavily, sweat pouring down his body, as if he had just been pulled out of the water.

After a moment's pause, he was about to turn around and leave when he heard someone shouting, "Su Ping, you still want to run!"

The fat boy was on the boy's back, pointing at the young child. The fat on his face was so crowded that it looked like a lump of rotten meat was shaking.

The physical functions of a teenager are definitely much stronger than those of a child a few years older. What's more, this teenager is quite outstanding. Even if he is carrying a fat boy on his back, he is just breathing slightly.

Su Ping's eyes narrowed slightly, and he glanced at the crowd in the wheat field. Before he could get close, he stepped back step by step and said weakly, "You, what do you want to do?"

"Hehe, what do I want to do? Of course I want to talk to you about life. Aren't you a child prodigy? How about you guess what I'm thinking now?" The little fat man grinned slyly, his sharp little eyes looking a little wretched.

Su Ping kept walking, pretending to be mysterious, pinching his fingers and smacking his lips: "You want to recognize me as your godfather!"

"Fuck you! My family is rich, there's no need for me to recognize a poor guy like you as my father!" The little fat man started speaking with foul language, which was very disgusting.

Su Ping took a deep breath, beat his chest and stamped his feet, saying: "You rebellious son, if you don't want to bow, then don't bow. Why hurt others with your words? It's simply disrespectful. I think you are definitely not your father's biological son!"

"You are not your father's biological son, but I am his biological son!" The little fat man glared and shouted anxiously.

Su Ping asked again: "Do you have any evidence?"

"I, I..." The little fat man lowered his head, thinking about what evidence he could produce, but it seemed that he really couldn't produce any.

He was distressed and looked up to ask back, but he found that there were many more figures in front of him, some holding hoes, some carrying sickles, and some pulling shoulder poles, all looking at the fat man and the boy carrying him on his back.

The villagers formed a circle, each of them still had some anger on their faces. After all, they had disliked the little fat man for a long time, and a beating could not make up for it. Moreover, they were not beating the real person, but those lackeys.

Seeing so many people, the little fat boy was a little panicked, but in front of outsiders, he wanted to pretend to be a superior person, so he shouted angrily: "Get out of the way, I want to talk to the child prodigy, don't block the way!"

Whoosh!

A stone flew from nowhere and scraped the little fat man's face, but it left no trace, it just scared him.

"Who, who ordered the sneak attack on me? Get out!"

The little fat man looked around, but no villager turned back to check, because no matter who it was, they were all wondering why it didn't hit him, why it just happened to pass by?

At the back of the crowd, Su Ping patted the dust off his hands, lowered his head, and prepared to leave with a sinister smile on his face.

At the same time, a rough big hand fell on his head...
