Ultraman Blaze

Chapter 13: The future is full of expectations (remake)

Tang Bohu's words worked very well. After spending the first day at the training base relatively easily, what awaited Hanyu Xiangyu and the others would be a nightmare-like devilish life.

The next day, just after five o'clock, Tang Bohu gave them a sudden and unexpected blow.

Suddenly, the entire training base was awakened by the sirens and heard the call to assemble in a trance.

So they quickly put on their clothes and rushed to the open space in front of the base.

This is a 1000-meter circular track. On the track, a group of TPC members in uniforms are standing with their hands behind their backs. In front of this group of TPC members, still stands the man with his own aura - Tang Bohu.

After everyone staggered together in front of him, Tang Bohu twisted his slightly sore neck, revealing a pair of unusually cunning eyes in the unclear early morning night.

After taking a look at the team, Tang Bohu asked with a wicked smile, "How was it? Did you all sleep well last night?"

No one in the team answered him. Some were rubbing their eyes, some were yawning, and they looked lazy and sleepy.

"It seems that you have just woken up and haven't adjusted yet." Tang Bohu thought for a moment and continued, "How about this, I specially prepared a rich breakfast for each of you."

Everyone's eyes lit up, and just when they thought something good was going to happen, after Tang Bohu said the next sentence, everyone's faces instantly darkened again.

"If you want to have breakfast, everyone, run 20 laps right now. You can eat when you finish running."

……

In the days that followed, five-kilometer cross-country running with weights, wrestling in the mud, carrying logs in the mud, precision shooting training, high-altitude skydiving... became the daily tasks of reserve team members such as Hanyu Xiangyu.

Under Tang Bohu's high-intensity devil training, some people couldn't hold on and left this place one after another.

Unconsciously, the number of reserve players has been reduced from 76 to less than 20 now, and only three months have passed.

That day, afternoon.

The red sunset and the shadow of the mountain quietly formed a beautiful landscape.

Xiangyu Hanyu, who had just finished a 20-kilometer weighted cross-country run, sat breathlessly on the side of the track to rest. More than three months of high-intensity training had worn away Xiangyu's handsome appearance, but had brought about some visible changes in him: the wet camouflage short-sleeves that clung to his body set off his well-proportioned figure, the curvy lines on his arms, and bean-sized beads of sweat floating on his slightly oily face.

Compared to three months ago, he is now much stronger and his physical condition has reached the standards of a soldier, but this is far from enough for Xiangyu.

Thinking, Xiangyu looked down at the smart watch on his right wrist. He skipped the heart rate and other body data detected on the watch and looked directly at the ranking list.

The eye-catching four characters of Hanyu Xiangyu ranked him in eighth place.

Here is his overall ranking.

As a former TPC member, Hanyu Xiangyu ranked only eighth in the overall ranking in this team of only eighteen people, and this is his highest ranking ever.

This ranking is based on each person's scores in the comprehensive training at the end of the month. According to Tang Bohu, at the end of each month, they will conduct a comprehensive test, and the last two people ranked will be eliminated until the last two people remain.

This training base is just one of the many training bases of the TPC Asia branch, and Tang Bohu is responsible for only two people's qualifying spots.

Hanyu Xiangyu took a look at the rankings. The top two people now are a man named Gu Yihui and another man named Luo Bingyang. Both of them look very outstanding.

Hanyu Xiangyu knew that Luo Bingyang was originally an instructor of a shooting club and had excellent shooting talent; as for the man named Gu Yihui, Hanyu Xiangyu was not very clear.

Because he is usually not very active, speaks very little, and doesn't communicate much with people in the team... If he was not ranked first, maybe he wouldn't even remember that there is such a person.

But then again, this guy's fighting skills and physical qualities can be said to be almost perfect among everyone.

There was no sign of imperfection in his cold, taciturn eyes. If there was any, it was probably just that he didn't like to talk.

Ever since the rankings were announced in the first month, this guy has been at the top of the list, leaving Luo Bingyang far behind.

Sometimes the teammates would talk about him when he was not around, and they always felt that he was like a superman, making people envy him.

Xiangyu always felt that such a hexagonal man must be carrying some unknown secret.

Fortunately, these were just Xiangyu's brief guesses when he had nothing to do.

Seeing that it would be the end of the month in a week, he would have to go through another comprehensive training and then re-rank… He didn’t know how many months he could last in his current state…

Hanyu Xiangyu was staring with his head down, totally unaware that a man was approaching. When he noticed, the man had already sat down next to him and handed Xiangyu a bottle of soda water.

The man who handed over the water was Tang Bohu. He sat next to Xiangyu, and took off the sternness of the deputy instructor on weekdays. Like a warm comrade, he smiled and asked softly: "What's wrong, are you worried about something?"

"Yeah." Hanyu Xiangyu nodded. He took the soda water handed to him by Tang Bohu, his eyes filled with complexities. He said, "I'm worried whether I can successfully advance."

"Harmful."

Tang Bohu smiled lightly, glanced at Hanyu Xiangyu, and said, "You are already a veteran member of TPC, why are you still worrying about these things?"

"Come to think of it, you are still my senior." Tang Bohu sighed, "Oh, to be able to work in the Far East Base, you must be quite someone."

Hanyu Xiangyu smiled slightly and said modestly: "No, it's just luck."

One of the reasons why Hanyu Xiangyu was transferred to work at the Far East Headquarters Base was indeed luck.

When he was an intern, he accidentally saved a person. It was not until he was transferred to the Far East headquarters that he found out that the person he saved was actually TPC's director, Soichi Sawai.

Probably because of this reason, he was transferred to the Far East headquarters.

After a moment of silence, Tang Bohu patted Hanyu Xiangyu on the shoulder and looked at the sunset with narrowed eyes: "Until things are over, everything is still unknown."

After that, he stood up and left.

Hanyu Xiangyu's mind was filled with Tang Bohu's words. He stared at the sunset with a complicated gaze, gradually becoming fascinated: "Until things are over, everything is still unknown..."
