Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 191 Prefect's Bathroom

Cedric looked at Salina in confusion, his handsome eyebrows slightly frowned. He leaned down slightly so that only Salina could hear his voice: "Did they just talk about the Dark Mark and Death Eaters?"

Salina did not answer his question directly. She stretched out her hands and placed them on Cedric's chest, gently pushing him back to his original position. She said in a casual tone: "Listen, I think we'd better forget what we just heard."

Cedric wanted to say something, but when he saw the look in Salina's eyes, he shut his mouth obediently: "But... oh okay, I'll listen to you."

Salina smiled again. She tilted her head and asked, "You should have been carrying the amulet I gave you, right?"

Cedric didn't say anything. He unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt and took out a black leather rope. At the end of the rope was a round silver pendant carved with a griffin. The pendant was now against Cedric's chest, still with a little warmth from his body temperature.

"Of course!" Cedric showed the pendant to Salina, "I promised you that I wouldn't take it off when I take a bath."

Salina nodded with satisfaction. She took Cedric's arm and said softly, "I'm a little cold. Let's go back quickly."

Cedric patted the back of Salina's hand gently and said softly, "I was negligent. Let's go."

……

As soon as Salina and Cedric turned the corner of the corridor, they heard a fierce argument.

They slowed down and took a closer look at the two parties in the argument: Ron and Hermione were standing face to face, both of them looking very excited.

Ron's face flushed, and there was a hint of sarcasm in his tone: "So you secretly found someone else to dance with, and left Harry and me aside?"

Hermione's eyes were red. She stamped her feet vigorously and said in a crying voice, "Shouldn't this be your fault? You always treat me as a backup and never take me to heart!"

She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. "If you really wanted to, you should have invited me a long time ago, instead of waiting until the last minute and having no other choice before thinking of me!"

Hermione's voice became louder and louder, and she couldn't help but burst into tears.

Ron stared at Hermione blankly, seemingly unaware of his mistake, and said stubbornly, "I really don't understand you girls..."

After saying that, he slumped his shoulders in disappointment and turned away.

Looking at Ron's receding back, Hermione could no longer control her emotions. She took off her high heels and threw them in Ron's direction.

The high heels hit the wall heavily, making a dull "bang" sound.

Hermione slid down to the ground weakly, buried her face in her arms, and cried sadly.

Salina gently pulled Cedric's sleeve and signaled him with her eyes not to go over.

Cedric nodded knowingly, and the two of them turned around and walked in another direction.

They walked slowly down the corridor, stepping lightly so Hermione wouldn't hear them.

As they walked through the flower-covered corridor, they saw Ginny and Neville walking towards them hand in hand, talking and laughing; and at the corner leading to the balcony, Harry and Cho were gazing at each other lovingly, whispering something shyly.

Salina and Cedric smiled at each other and continued walking forward with brisk steps.

However, when they were saying goodbye at the stairs, they noticed that Hagrid was sitting alone and dejected on an empty chair in the corner of the hall, and his whole body exuded the feeling of heartbreak.

It seems that everyone has left behind impressive memories tonight, some of which are sweet while others are bitter.

……

After that, Cedric tried his best to crack the secret of the golden egg, but after a few days, he still had no clue.

Distressed, he thought of Salina and decided to ask her for help.

He found Salina and told her the problem of the golden egg.

Salina hesitated for a moment, then decided to give a hint and said, "Maybe you can try wearing it when you take a bath."

Cedric was stunned for a moment, then nodded: "I have indeed never tried this..."

He paused, then suddenly asked, "Can you go with me?"

Salina was stunned at first, then she understood what Cedric meant, and her pretty face flushed instantly: "You want me to go into the bathroom with you?"

She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "How can that be possible? Girls are not allowed to enter the boys' bathroom at will."

Cedric smiled and said, "The prefects have their own private bathroom, no one else will notice."

After hearing this, Salina felt a little relieved, but she was still a little hesitant.

Seeing this, Cedric assured again: "Come with me. We are just studying the secret of the golden egg together. We won't do anything else."

Salina paused, blushed and agreed.

So that afternoon, Salina lowered her steps and tiptoed behind Cedric, her heart pounding with nervousness.

They walked through the noisy corridors and arrived at the prefects' bathroom on the sixth floor.

Cedric recited the code word with ease, and the portrait of Boris the Confused moved aside, revealing an entrance to the bathroom.

Salina took a deep breath and followed Cedric inside.

What comes into view is a spacious and luxurious space, with soft light pouring down from the huge chandelier above, illuminating the entire bathroom.

The floor was paved with shiny white marble, and in the center was a huge white marble bathtub, with glittering golden faucets adorning the edges.

Bubble baths of various colors and scents are neatly arranged on the shelf next to the bathtub, and the air is filled with a faint fragrance.

Salina said to Cedric, "Perhaps you can try opening it in the water? Maybe you can get some clues underwater."

After hearing this, Cedric thought that Salina's suggestion made sense, so he started to unbutton his shirt without hesitation.

Seeing this, Salina's pretty face turned red immediately. She turned away in panic, not daring to look at Cedric again.

She had her back to Cedric, her heart beating fast, and could only hear the rustling sound of clothes being taken off behind her.

Just then, a strange whimpering sound came from not far away.

Salina and Cedric were both startled and looked in the direction of the sound in confusion, only to see a ghost girl in school uniform and thick glasses floating in the air, staring at Cedric with burning eyes.

This ghost girl is none other than the bathroom’s resident, Moaning Myrtle.

"Oh, look who this is," Myrtle screamed exaggeratedly, covering her mouth with her hands in a pretentious manner, but her eyes behind the thick lenses never left Cedric, "What a nice figure!"

This made both Serena and Cedric blush.
