Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 157 Jealousy
Oliver noticed Percy standing beside him, his eyes flickered slightly, as if a little surprised, but he soon returned to his usual cheerfulness, with a meaningful smile on the corner of his mouth.
"Hey, Percy, what a coincidence, you're here too." Oliver was the first to greet him, his tone relaxed and natural.
Percy nodded slightly and responded politely, "Yeah, I just came to check on Serena and make sure she's okay."
Oliver's eyes swept over the delicate bouquet of daisies on the bedside table, and the smile on his lips deepened a little.
"Daisy? It suits you well, Percy." He said with a teasing tone, as if the simple flower like daisy was a perfect match for Percy's meticulous personality.
Percy frowned slightly, his eyes falling on the bouquet of fragrant lilies with a hint of disapproval.
"Give the sick lilies, Oliver. Don't you know anything about the language of flowers?"
Just when the atmosphere was a little awkward, a burst of laughter suddenly rang out in the corridor...
The laughter outside the ward door interrupted the conversation between Percy and Oliver. Then, the door was pushed open, and Fred and George, the funny brothers, rushed into the ward like a whirlwind, with bright smiles on their faces and all kinds of strange gadgets in their hands.
Fred was holding a glowing ball with strange patterns painted on it; George was holding a pile of colorful boxes, and it was unknown what was in the boxes, which made creaking sounds from time to time.
Fred walked quickly to Salina's bed and said excitedly, "Hey, Salina, you're finally awake! Look what fun things we brought you!"
As he spoke, he threw the glowing ball in his hand into the air. The ball drew a bright line of light in the air and then fell steadily back into his hand.
George also walked to the bedside, put the pile of boxes in his hand on the bedside table, and said with a smile: "It is guaranteed to make your recovery process less boring."
Harry arrived a little later. He walked into the ward and saw that it was full of people, including Percy and Oliver. This surprised him and his originally relaxed mood became a little uneasy.
He stood awkwardly at the door, not knowing what to do, with a look of embarrassment on his face.
"Harry, you're here." Salina's gentle voice broke the lively atmosphere in the ward. Everyone turned to look at the door and then noticed Harry's arrival.
Salina's greeting made Harry's originally nervous mood relax a little. He took a deep breath, walked to the bed with steady steps, and looked at Salina with sincere and grateful eyes.
Harry: "I just wanted to come and thank Serena..."
A thin figure sneaked in quietly, making almost no sound.
It's Colin, who always likes to carry his camera and record every detail of life.
When he saw the lively and warm scene in the ward, his eyes lit up and an expression of excitement appeared on his face.
He carefully raised the camera and adjusted the focus, trying to capture the beauty of this moment in the lens.
"Everyone, don't move. Keep this position," Colin said softly in a low voice, "Let me take a picture to record this moment."
The door of the ward was gently pushed open again, and a figure leaned in.
It was Michael. He saw laughter in the ward and Salina was surrounded by her friends with a happy smile on her face.
He took a deep breath, walked into the ward with light steps, and went to Salina's bedside.
His eyes fell gently on Salina, and an indescribable emotion surged in his heart.
Michael said affectionately, "Selena, I wrote a song for you."
He gently put down the violin, opened the case, took out the violin, slowly lifted it up and placed it on his shoulder.
He decided to use music and notes to express his feelings and blessings at the moment.
As each person arrived, the atmosphere in the ward began to become a little tense.
Each boy tried to attract Serena's attention in his own way, and before they knew it, they began to become jealous of each other.
Percy: "Salina, I'm always here if you need help."
Wood: "When you recover, we can go for an outing together and relax."
Fred and George began to push each other around, trying to show off their gadgets.
Harry: "I...I just wanted to say thank you."
Colin: "Wait, let me take a picture first."
Michael played the violin nearby, trying to convey his emotions through melody.
Cedric was the last to arrive. He pushed open the door of the ward and saw that it was bustling inside. Everyone was talking and laughing, and there were people surrounding Salina's bed.
With a warm smile on his face, he walked lightly through the crowd and came to Salina's bed.
Cedric gently placed the fruit basket in his hand on the bedside table and said softly, "Salina, I'm glad to hear that you're awake."
He noticed that Salina looked much better, and he felt very relieved.
"I brought some delicious food. You must be hungry." Cedric said as he took out a bright red apple from the fruit basket.
Seeing this, the guys in the room, who had their own thoughts, all focused their attention on Cedric.
They watched as Cedric easily gained Salina's attention and gritted their teeth in their hearts.
Percy pushed his glasses and thought to himself: This guy only knows how to play these little tricks.
Fred and George looked at each other, feeling annoyed: Damn it, he got there first again!
Even Michael, who was usually calm, couldn't help but tighten his grip on the bow, feeling mixed emotions.
I thought to myself: This guy is so cunning!
The enthusiasm and care of these boys stirred ripples in Salina's heart. She felt embarrassed and deeply moved.
She raised her eyes and looked around at the faces around her, each of which was filled with concern and worry for her.
She raised the corners of her mouth slightly and revealed a faint smile, trying to express her gratitude in this way, and at the same time, hoping to ease the overly warm atmosphere in the ward.
She stretched out a hand and gently pressed it down, signaling everyone to be quiet.
Thank you, everyone," Selina's voice was soft but clear, "I really appreciate everything you have done for me."
Her eyes scanned each boy, finally stopping at Cedric, "But now, I really need to rest."
As Salina finished her words, the noise in the ward gradually subsided, as if an invisible hand had gently pressed the pause button.
The boys looked at each other and realized that their behavior just now was a bit too much. What Serena needed most now was rest, not their jealousy.
Although they all have love for Salina in their hearts and are secretly competing with each other, at this moment, they are willing to give up everything for Salina's health and happiness.
