Hogwarts Lion Girl
Chapter 151 Chubby
The thick fog covered the Quidditch World Cup camp like a huge, cold, wet towel.
Harry rubbed his eyes, trying hard to see clearly.
He and the Weasleys had just come across a desolate swamp and arrived at this magical place.
"Wow!" Ron exclaimed, "This is so cool!"
All kinds of tents were looming in the thick fog, like a group of strange giant mushrooms.
Some tents are simple and low-key, trying hard to imitate the Muggle style; others are extremely exaggerated, as if to pile up all the magical elements.
Harry noticed a tent that stood out. It was four stories high and had several small corner towers built next to it. It looked like a miniature castle.
Several peacocks were strolling leisurely at the entrance of the tent, their colorful tail feathers particularly dazzling in the mist.
"That should be some rich person's tent, right?" Harry guessed.
"Of course it is." Fred's voice came from the side. "I bet there must be countless gold galleons and delicious butter beer hidden in it!"
"Don't dream, Fred," George joked, "let's just think about how to get those limited edition Quidditch merchandise!"
Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were busy packing up their luggage. They were already used to their twin sons' mischief.
Hermione took out a map and studied the layout of the camp carefully. She didn't want to miss any exciting games and activities.
At this moment, a short, fat man with a red face ran past them breathlessly, shouting as he ran: "Pay attention! Don't litter! Also, don't use magic on Muggles! Remember, don't use magic on Muggles!"
Harry noticed that the man seemed confused and uneasy about everything around him, his eyes full of confusion and anxiety.
"Who's that?" Harry asked curiously.
"He should be the camp manager, a poor Muggle." Hermione explained in a low voice, "In order to prevent him from revealing the secrets of the wizarding world, his memory will be erased regularly."
Harry couldn't help but feel a little sympathy for the Muggle administrator. It was really unfair for him to be trapped in a world that he could not understand at all and to have to face all kinds of strange people and things.
Thick fog still lingered over the camp, adding a touch of mystery and unknown to this grand event.
Harry took a deep breath, his heart filled with anticipation and excitement.
……
Salina couldn't help but hesitate as she looked at the gray scene in front of her. After all, it was not like this when she watched the movie.
Naturally, she also got tickets, and more than one.
However, for the sake of friendship, she chose the earliest invitation.
Seeing that Salina had stopped, Cedric followed her gaze and found that she was staring at the foggy camp in a daze.
He gently called out Salina's name, and when she came back to her senses, he smiled and asked, "What are you looking at?"
Salina shook her head, indicating that she was just a little distracted.
Cedric smiled, pointed to a tent not far away, and said, "Our tent is over here."
Having said that, he walked over.
When he walked to Salina's side, Cedric naturally reached out and held Salina's hand.
Salina smiled and let Cedric lead her forward.
They made their way through the bustling crowd, their ears filled with the noise of various languages.
"Salina!"
The two looked in the direction of the voice and saw a familiar boy waving at them.
"Michael!" Salina responded with a smile.
"I saw your name among the performers of the opening song, and I didn't expect it was really you." Cedric said.
"That's right." Michael raised his eyebrows, looked at Salina with a hint of pride and said, "How is it? Are you looking forward to my performance?"
Salina looked at the two of them and felt that the atmosphere was a little strange, but she quickly put her doubts behind her and said to Michael with a smile: "Yes, keep going!"
Cedric frowned slightly and asked, "Don't you need to rehearse? Why are you still here?"
Michael shrugged, his tone nonchalant: "With my strength, this kind of training is a piece of cake. It's okay to go later."
There seemed to be a hint of provocation in his tone, which Cedric keenly caught. He put away his smile and said in a more serious tone: "It's better to be serious. After all, this is a world-class event."
Michael chuckled, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone: “You don’t have to worry about that.”
Although both of them spoke in a polite manner, Salina could feel a subtle smell of gunpowder between them. Every word seemed to carry a thorn, gently piercing the other person.
Fortunately, this atmosphere did not last long, and the band members came and took Michael away.
Michael looked quite unwilling when he left, but Cedric was smiling happily.
Just before Salina and Cedric were about to enter the tent, a sound like a water ball bursting suddenly came from not far away.
Soon afterwards, a violent scream was heard.
"Merlin's stinky socks! Kevin! Look what you have done!" A plump red-haired witch was busy cleaning the green slime that splashed on her body.
"I just want to turn it into a sausage!" The little boy named Kevin pouted in grievance, his big eyes filled with tears, "Dad said that as long as I point the magic wand and say 'fat,' it will turn into a sausage!"
"Oh, my little ancestor!" Kevin's mother was almost in tears, "Your father lied to you! And, even if it's true, you can't just cast magic on a slug!"
At this time, a tall wizard poked his head out of the tent. When he saw the scene in front of him, he couldn't help laughing.
"Dear, stop laughing and come and help!" The witch glared at him unhappily.
"Okay, okay." The wizard walked over with a smile, waved his wand, and the remaining mucus on the ground disappeared without a trace.
He picked up little Kevin and rubbed his nose affectionately, "Kevin, the wand is not a toy. Don't use it carelessly in the future. Do you understand?"
Little Kevin nodded, not quite understanding, "Then can I turn it into sausage?"
"Of course not!" the couple said in unison, then smiled at each other.
Cedric looked at Kevin's family's receding backs, smiled and shook his head: "What a naughty guy."
Salina also smiled and agreed, "Yeah, but it's pretty silly and cute."
Cedric blinked, turned to look at Salina, and asked, "Are you trying to say that the kid is a fool?"
Salina shook her head and explained, "No, I think he's cute."
Cedric hesitated for a moment and said, "Oh, I see... Actually, I was pretty silly and cute when I was a kid."
Salina opened her eyes slightly, "...Well, Cedric, I think this word is still not very good...Tell me, what happened when you were a child?"
Cedric held Salina's hand and said with a smile: "This is a long story. Let's go into the tent first."
Serena nodded and walked into the tent with Cedric.
