Chapter 7 King's Station

Before the sun rose, Light in the orphanage had already gotten up, washed, packed his things, put on his small bag, and prepared to set off for Diagon Alley.

Wright took the bus, the subway, and passed through the Leaky Cauldron.

With the tap of the wand, an arch leading to Diagon Alley took shape before Wright's eyes.

When Wright came to Diagon Alley for the second time, he was not as shocked as when he first saw it, but he was also excited.

After walking and looking around along the way, we arrived at our destination, 'Gringotts'.

"Hello, I want to exchange for gold galleons."

Without Hagrid's help, Wright used a levitation spell to sit on a stool that was almost as high as himself, and then spoke to the goblin behind the counter.

The goblin narrowed his eyes. "Do you have any ID? If not, we won't exchange it."

Wright's heart trembled. The original book only said that pounds could be exchanged for gold galleons. He didn't expect there was such a requirement.

Then he calmed down and asked, "Can the loan agreement I signed before be used as proof?"

"Sure, as long as you can prove your identity."

Upon hearing this, Wright took out the loan agreement that he was going to use to repay the loan and handed it to the goblin.

Then he asked, "What is the current exchange rate for gold galleons?"

"9 pounds for 1 gold galleon," the goblin said as he checked the loan agreement.

Wright counted out nine hundred pounds and handed it to the goblin, saying softly, "Pay off the loan as well."

The goblin didn't say much, and quickly completed the business transaction, exchanging a bag of gold galleons and a repayment certificate for Wright.

After leaving Gringotts, Wright tossed the purse in his hand and smiled as he listened to the crisp sound.

Hogwarts provides food and accommodation, so it's basically free. It should be enough for next year's textbooks.

After hiding the purse, Wright left Diagon Alley directly to avoid spending the gold Galleons he had worked so hard to earn.

After walking out of the Leaky Cauldron, Wright took the remaining one hundred pounds and headed for his next destination, the supermarket.

Luggage, quills, ink, paper and pens and other daily necessities. These things are much cheaper to buy here in the Muggle world than in Diagon Alley, and it is also easier to get change.

God knows how these wizards calculated 1 gold Galleon = 17 silver Sickles = 493 bronze Knuts.

It was already evening when he returned to the orphanage after shopping. After washing and packing his things, Wright lay down on the bed, but his mind was sunk.

Looking at the towering stone tablet, the information appeared before my eyes.

Wright Ruggs (Zhou Yang)

Mileage points: 7

Magic power: 1 (normal adult wizards have a value of 5)

Magic: White Magic: 1 Transfiguration: 0

Skills: Potions: 0 Magizoology: 0

Milestone: ... (omitted)

Wright looked at the information in front of him and had the impulse to add points, but he wanted to understand the situation before adding points.

After all, the most destructive black magic has not yet been revealed. I probably need to find a book that specifically describes black magic and read it.

You can get it easily by going to the library at Hogwarts, so you don't have to worry about this at all.

After thinking for a long time and regaining his spirit, Wright was looking forward to tomorrow, September 1st.

The next morning, Mrs. Kurt watched Letter pulling his suitcase and saying goodbye to her, tears in her eyes, and she felt both happy and sad in her heart.

What makes us happy is that children have their own direction and belonging, but what makes us sad is that children leave us.

I used to worry about Wright's future, but now he is going to school and pursuing his own future.

"Wright, study hard. Don't worry about here, everything is fine." Mrs. Kurt smiled kindly.

Wright bowed to Mrs. Cotter and thanked her.

Mrs. Cote nodded gently and said, "Go quickly! Don't be late."

Light pulled his suitcase, waved to Mrs. Cote, and got on the bus to King's Station.

King's Cross Station was crowded with people, and there were some strangely dressed people hiding among them.

Wright was wearing a second-hand wizard robe, his wand hidden in his left hand, and he was dragging a suitcase with his right hand. A backpack was placed on the suitcase, and there was a one-way ticket in his trouser pocket.

Just then, Wright noticed a thin boy pushing a luggage cart not far ahead. There was a white owl in a cage looking around on the cart.

"Hi, Harry."

Harry seemed startled when he heard someone calling, and his body shook.

"Are you waiting for me? Why are you wandering around here?" Wright walked up quickly and asked.

"Yes, but I'm also looking for Platform 9 3/4, and it doesn't seem to be here!" Harry said a little embarrassedly.

Hearing this, Wright smiled and said, "That's great, I know where it is, follow me." Then Wright walked in front to lead the way.

The two walked forward for a while, and Wright stopped between the ninth and tenth platforms, pointed to a stone pillar at the junction and said:

"That's it. Nine and three-quarters station. It's right behind here. Just run into it."

Harry looked at the wall in amazement, then at Light.

Seeing Harry's hesitation, Wright explained:

"It's written in the textbook 'History of Magic' that this platform is under a Muggle Repelling Charm, a Confusion Charm, and an Obstruction Charm. You can't see it, so you have to bump into it, otherwise you can't get through."

Seeing that Harry was still hesitating, Light simply ran headfirst into the pillar, and in an instant, a completely different scene came into view.

The platform was quite crowded, with adults and children in black robes everywhere, cats running around underfoot, and the calls of owls and toads could be heard one after another.

A black and red steam train was parked next to the platform, with hot white steam emitting from the locomotive.

At the front was a sign that read: Hogwarts Express, and the aisle on the other side was marked with Platform Nine and Three Quarters.

After waiting for a while, Harry also appeared on the platform. He glanced around with surprise, and his eyes especially stopped on the train.

Seeing that Harry was still surprised, Wright walked over and patted him, saying:

"Come back to your senses! Get on the bus quickly and find a place to put your luggage and sit down." Then he walked towards the bus.

Harry finally reacted and followed Wright through the crowded crowd and found an empty carriage on the train.

The luggage of the two people added up to be quite a lot, and Wright had to use floating to put it away easily, otherwise it would have been very difficult.

"Wright, was that magic you just performed?"

Light nodded and said, "This is the levitation spell from the textbook. Do you want to learn it? I'll teach you!"

"Can you? Can you teach me?" Harry said excitedly.

Wright said nonchalantly, "It's okay. The first thing in the textbook is the levitation spell. Teaching you now is just a preview."

As he said this, he picked up his wand, took out a pack of tissues from his pocket with his left hand, pulled out a piece and spread it flat on the table.

Harry took out his wand and listened to Wright's explanation.
