Chapter 43: Duel with Quirrell

On Sunday night, the Room of Requirement changes to the library!

"It took me a whole day to read almost all the information in it! Many problems in the original work have also been explained!" Wright continued to read the research materials given by Snape.

"The data describes that bloody and cruel experiments were conducted on wizards, magical creatures and other life forms through black magic, alchemy, transfiguration and other aspects!"

"Thus, we can infer the connection between the soul and the body! The connection between magic and the body!"

Wright closed the information in his hand, checked the time, stood up and hid the information in the library that would answer any request!

Wright walked in the dark castle, thinking back to the information, and the doubts he had when reading the original book were finally answered!

"Why do Principal Deng and Professor Strange still firmly believe that Voldemort will return without knowing about the Horcruxes?"

"Because this information shows that Voldemort has been practicing some kind of dark magic related to immortality, and has achieved sufficient results!"

"It also explains why Principal Deng chose to protect the Death Eater, St. Petersburg, even though he had little contact with him!"

"Because Steffen provided accurate information about Voldemort, and most of the time he just cooperated with Voldemort in his research."

"This also explains why Principal Deng's attitude towards Severus is both trusting and distant. He can entrust his life to him, but he calls him by his last name 'Severus' in a distant way!"

"No wonder Voldemort still trusts Sirius, who has been with Principal Deng for more than ten years!"

Thinking of this, Wright's footsteps suddenly stopped! A more terrifying idea emerged in his mind!

"Perhaps Voldemort did not find a way to repair his soul from ancient dark magic! Instead, he did it through his own research!"

Just when Wright was thinking about whether Voldemort was also working part-time as an evil scientist, a promising career.

Wright seemed to sense something, and quickly hid to the side, then looked forward.

The illusory ripples gradually disappeared under the moonlight outside the window.

"Illusion?" Wright, who was quite knowledgeable about this magic, hesitated for a moment and guessed what it was.

"The 'Illusion Body Technique' requires the caster to constantly adjust to match the external environment, so once there is a particularly drastic change in light, adjustments will be required. An illusory ripple will appear!"

"Someone is planning to use the art of illusion to sneak out of the castle. Could it be him? This is when he is at his weakest. Let's follow him and kill him!" Wright took a deep breath, made up his mind, and slowly walked out of the castle.

Wright hid beside a pillar outside the castle, watching the figure in a hooded black robe stagger towards the Forbidden Forest after the illusion spell was removed!

"Sure enough, Quirrell's body can hardly support the casting of magic now."

Wright was not careless and followed Quirrell from a distance, tracking him only by the traces he left behind.

The illusion technique concealed Wright's figure as he rushed to the Forbidden Forest!

'Tracing Spell', a light appeared out of nowhere and shot to the place where Quirrell had just walked. At the same time, a series of illusory footprints extended to the Forbidden Forest.

"Huff, huff, huff..." His heavy breathing echoed in the woods, like a dying beast, foreshadowing his end.

As Wright watched Quirrell walking through the Forbidden Forest with ease, he knew that this guy was not here for the first time.

The Forbidden Forest is densely wooded and has a complex terrain! There are also strange animals blocking the way. If Wright hadn't learned the art of tracing to deal with this situation, Quirrell would have been out of luck.

Wright followed Quirrell deeper and deeper into the forbidden forest. The shadows of the trees in the forest intertwined, and under the moonlight, they looked like ghosts baring their fangs and claws. The howling coming from afar made people feel like they had entered a devil's cave.

"Oh my God! This guy Quirrell is so hard to chase, he never stops! If I keep chasing him like this, I may not have enough energy to fight!" Wright panted and held onto a tree.

"Yu!!!" The mournful wail echoed in the woods!

Wright, who was panting heavily, heard the scream and his face changed instantly. He ran towards the source of the sound frantically, while shouting in his heart: "I must catch up!"

When Wright arrived, it was all over!

The unicorn lay quietly on the ground, its body gleaming in the dark forest, with silver-blue bloodstains scattered around it. Quirrell was leaning over and sucking the unicorn's blood.

Wright arrived in a hurry and realized that he was late when he saw this, but he did not show up immediately and hid aside.

After drinking the blood, Qi Luo began to howl, as if he was excited and in pain!

Quirrell touched the silver-blue blood at the corner of his mouth, then slowly stood up. His pale face looked like a corpse under the moonlight.

Hiding in the dark, Wright took a deep breath and completely relieved the shortness of breath caused by the long journey.

He pointed the wand in his hand toward the sky, and a red light shot out from the tip. The sky over the Forbidden Forest was lit up by a red firework.

Quirrell immediately looked towards where Wright was hiding and raised his wand.

"Thunder Explosion!" Wright took the lead and attacked Quirrell.

"boom!"

The magic hit Quirrell accurately, and the flames caused by the violent explosion engulfed Quirrell's figure.

'Shattered into pieces', Light continued to attack without relaxing, only to see the magic penetrate the smoke and miss the target.

"Armor to protect yourself" and "Numerous obstacles" Upon seeing this, Wright immediately cast a spell to protect himself and looked around vigilantly.

The next second, a murderous voice came from Wright's right.

'Shattered to pieces', light shot out from the darkness and shattered the defenses set up by Light.

'Thunder Explosion', Wright ignored the magic blocked by the Armor Spell and continued to attack Quirrell.

The violent explosion directly blew away the defensive Quirrell.

"Shattered into pieces", "Thunderbolt", "Armor protection", "Numerous obstacles". Light took advantage of the victory and sent two extremely lethal magic spells towards Quirrell, and by the way, he cast two more defenses on himself.

Just as the magic was about to hit Quirrell, an orange light lit up on the wand in his hand and spread out like a spider web.

Wright was very familiar with this wave. He used it to put out fires when practicing Lihuo, but he never thought there was such a way to operate it.

The orange spider web entangled the magic that was about to hit, and the two magics were annihilated.

Before Wright could continue his attack, Quirrell's body suddenly twisted and disappeared.

Wright looked around warily, and only felt relieved when he received a message from the stone tablet.

"Complete the mileage 'Fight the Dark Lord', mileage point increased by 1."

Only the messy ground showed the rapid and dangerous battle that had just taken place.

Without reviewing the battle, Wright immediately ran towards the unicorn lying on the ground.

When Wright got closer, he saw that the unicorn, which was emitting a faint glow, was lying helplessly on the ground, with only very slight gasps, indicating that it was not completely dead yet.

The wound went through its abdomen, and there was also a tear that went all the way to its hind legs.
