Chapter 35 Dragon Egg
"Let's go find Hagrid now!" Ron suggested immediately after he calmed down.
"No, Hagrid doesn't allow me to look into these things. And the professors don't want us to know so much!" Hermione immediately began to refute.
"Yes, and all we know is that Snape might attack the Philosopher's Stone. We don't know anything else." Harry agreed with Hermione.
"Maybe we don't have to go find Hagrid. He will come here himself." Wright raised his right hand and pointed to a tall figure in the library.
The three of them looked in the direction the finger was pointing and saw a tall giant walking around the library stealthily, as if he was looking for a book.
"Hagrid, what are you doing!" Hagrid, who was looking for a book, was startled by the sudden voice and almost dropped the book in his arms.
"Harry, and you too." Hagrid turned around and looked at Harry in front of him, and Wright and others who were waving at him in the reading area.
"So, why did you come to the library?" Ron asked curiously as soon as Hagrid sat down.
"I came here to find some information and want to understand something." Hagrid put the book in his arms on the table and said a little excitedly.
"What information are you looking for? Maybe I can help you!" Hermione said excitedly.
"Do you want to know how to hatch dragon eggs or feed and care for baby dragons?" Wright said, looking at the book Hagrid placed on the table.
"Of course I do. You know what? I dream of raising a dragon." Hagrid said a little excitedly when he heard what Wright said.
"So where do your dragon eggs or dragonlets come from?"
"Of course..., what dragon eggs, I don't quite understand what you are saying!" Hagrid stuttered.
"It turns out that I got a dragon egg..."
"Ah!!!" Harry and the other two couldn't help but exclaimed when they heard the news that Light had lied about.
"Calm down, the administrators are coming!" Wright reminded.
Harry and the other two apologized to Madam Pince who came over and watched her leave.
Hermione lowered her voice and asked Hagrid: "What do you mean? You hid a dragon egg and you want to hatch it."
"Hush! Don't tell anyone. If others find out, the child will be taken away. It's so small, just an egg."
"But if someone finds out you're hatching dragon eggs, you'll be thrown into Azkaban," Hermione said a little anxiously.
"No, we can't do this! We are best friends." Hagrid looked at Wright and the other three with tears in his eyes and begged.
"There's nothing we can do. Let's go over there tonight and see what's going on. See if we can think of a solution!" The Wrights discussed it and said to Hagrid.
"Really! I'll wait for you tonight, just come to my house." Hagrid almost jumped up with joy when he heard that, and invited the four to his house.
"Is this okay?" Hermione asked a little worriedly.
"It's okay, it's just an egg! What can happen!" Wright said casually.
The four of them finally waited until nightfall, sneaked out of the castle, and ran to Hagrid's residence.
The four of them followed the weed-covered path to Hagrid's residence.
Wright went forward and knocked on the door. Harry and the other two looked around like thieves.
"Who is it? You are here, come in!" Hagrid opened the door slightly, and opened it after seeing Wright and the other four.
As soon as he entered the door, Wright felt a wave of heat coming over him.
Harry and Ron frowned uncomfortably, and Hermione also looked as if she was suffocating.
"Why is it so hot!" Harry asked Hagrid. Ron, who was sweating profusely, agreed.
"Dragon eggs need to be hatched at a higher temperature, so there really are dragon eggs!" Hermione explained, and then said in disbelief.
"Hahaha! Yes! Here it is." Hagrid pointed his finger at the blazing stove, and a black egg was burning in the flames.
"Is this a dragon egg? Can I touch it?" Late asked Hagrid, moving closer to the stove with a purpose.
"Of course you can. But be careful of burns. The dragon eggs must be kept hot until they hatch." Hagrid scratched his head and said sullenly.
"Just give it a try!" Wright cast an armor spell on himself and reached out to the dragon egg in the fire. The shell of the dragon egg was not high and was only a little warm, probably because the heat was absorbed.
"What a pity, there are no mileage points," Wright secretly withdrew his hand with regret.
"Hagrid, can you tell me how you got this dragon egg?"
As Harry and the other two gathered around the stove to look at the dragon eggs, they heard Wright's question and looked up at Hagrid at the same time.
"Of course I won it! Just a while ago, I was playing cards with a stranger in a bar, and he lost it to me." Hagrid said very honestly and proudly.
"What are the characteristics of that person? Is he very interested in the three-headed dog you raise?" Wright asked meaningfully.
"It seems so, but everyone would be interested in it! That's a three-headed dog, who can see it often?" Hagrid looked confused.
"Then have you ever told me what Fluffy likes and what he fears?" Hermione also reacted.
"I had drunk a little wine at the time, and told him that Fluffy's favorite thing to do was to listen to music, and that he would fall asleep as long as he listened to this music." Hagrid's face began to panic, and he realized that he seemed to have exposed something.
"Who is that?" Harry asked nervously.
"I don't know who he is. I remember he was wearing a black robe and I couldn't see his face clearly. I vaguely remember his voice was hoarse, not like that of a normal person." Hagrid realized the seriousness of the problem.
"That must be Snape. We saw him limping before. He not only wants to harm Harry, but also wants to get the Philosopher's Stone." Ron was as excited as a detective who had found the truth.
"The Philosopher's Stone? How did you know?" Hagrid looked incredulous.
"You don't think you're good at keeping secrets!" Hermione complained.
"Listen, the matter of the Philosopher's Stone has nothing to do with you. Dumbledore will handle it." Hagrid said to the four people very seriously.
Wright nodded, indicating that these major issues would be handled by the professors and we don't need to worry.
"No, we've told Professor McGonagall before. They didn't believe it at all and were completely unprepared. Now Fluffy's weakness is known. The Philosopher's Stone is in danger." Harry persuaded anxiously.
"Then go find the headmaster, he will definitely be able to solve it." After thinking for a while, Hermione came up with the best solution.
This proposal was agreed by everyone except Wright.
"This is indeed the best solution, provided that there is no problem with the principal himself. I don't want to continue bargaining with old Deng." Wright sighed.
"I'd rather not go. I'm more attracted to the dragon eggs. You guys go!" Wright found a reason to refuse.
"No, let's go together!" Wright was dragged by three people to the principal's office.
