Learn magic in Harry Potter

Chapter 300 Before the Dance

When Light left the dormitory with Harry and Ron and came to the Gryffindor common room.

He was very keen to notice Ginny who was chatting with Hermione.

So, Wright looked at the two people who were still grinning like idiots:

"Harry, go find Ginny now and ask her to be your dance partner!"

Harry, who was under the influence of the Happy Charm, walked forward with a smile on his face without any hesitation:

"Ginny, are you free?"

"If possible, I would like to invite you to be my dance partner!"

Harry's bold invitation frightened not only Ginny but also Hermione.

After a long pause, Ginny looked at Harry, who was smiling, and blushed as she stammered:

"I'm...sorry...! I...I...can't. I already promised Neville."

"He invited me because Hermione turned him down."

"I was thinking... anyway... anyway, if I don't agree to him, no one will invite me..."

"I'm sorry to bother you!"

Harry didn't wait for her to finish explaining and walked away happily, ignoring Ginny's expression that looked like she was about to cry.

Seeing Harry running back with a smile on his face, Wright couldn't help but sigh and thought to himself:

"It seems that my godson has not been able to show up so quickly yet!"

"Wright, Wright! What about me, what about me!"

Just as he sighed, Ron saw Harry returning in failure.

I didn't feel frustrated but extremely excited, with an expression on my face that said "I'm ready, I'm ready."

Light glanced at Hermione, who was comforting Ginny, and shook his head.

Then he pointed to Parvati and Lavender who had just walked in from behind the portrait and said:

"Then it's decided to be you, Ron! Come on!"

Hearing the order, Ron walked over excitedly, stopped the two girls, and went straight to the point:

"Parvati, are you free?"

"Would you like to go to the Yule Ball with me, if you please?"

The two girls were startled at first, and then Parvati laughed like a barbell.

Just when Ron thought he was going to fail and was about to run away.

Parvati slowly stopped laughing, her face started to turn red, and she said shyly:

"Yes, we can go to the dance!"

At Wright's signal, Harry came over with a smile on his face and said to Lavender:

"Lavender, will you be free then?"

"I also want to invite you to the Christmas ball!"

Lavender was stunned at first, but instead of answering, she also laughed like a barbell.

Parvati, who had promised Ron, took over the words of Lavender who was laughing happily:

"Harry, I'm sorry you're so late. She has already promised Seamus."

"But it's not impossible..."

Harry was originally planning to thank her and leave, but after hearing what she said, he stopped where he was.

"Maybe my twin sister can be one too. Her name is Padma."

"She is in Ravenclaw now. If you want, I can go ask her."

"Okay, that's great. Please let us know as soon as you have any news, okay?"

After they all agreed, they ran back to Wright with smiles on their faces and held their heads high with pride.

After seeing that they had completed their tasks, Light simply snapped his fingers to eliminate the magic cast on the two of them.

When the effect wore off, Harry and Ron's faces flushed as they recalled what they had just done.

The two of them suddenly began to tremble all over, not sure whether they were shy or embarrassed.

However, Wright, the instigator, ignored Harry and Ron and just left without being involved in any cause and effect.

With only a few days left until Christmas, the atmosphere in the school is becoming increasingly lively.

Almost all students above the fourth grade chose to stay in school because they could not refuse the Christmas dance.

With the students' eager anticipation, the Christmas holiday finally arrived as scheduled.

Although professors assign a lot of holiday homework to fourth-year students.

But these operations were completely unable to dispel the cheerful atmosphere that permeated the entire castle.

During this alternative Christmas holiday, the entire castle was filled with people because the students did not go back for vacation.

They gathered in groups of three or four, chatting and laughing happily, and not many people paid attention to the homework at all.

However, in the first one or two days after the holiday, there are always students who suddenly grow full of feathers, like a big canary.

After the initial commotion, the Gryffindor students quickly found the culprits, the Weasley twins.

However, under the brainwashing of George and Fred, the little lions also joined in the prank.

Soon, all the students in the castle understood one thing.

Not only should you not eat food from strangers, but you should also remember not to eat food handed to you by people you know.

As the weather grew colder, heavy snow fell like goose feathers on the castle and the open space.

The Beauxbatons Academy carriage is now parked outside, covered in snow.

Now it looks like a big pumpkin covered with hoarfrost, standing out on the snow.

A thick layer of ice also formed on the side of the Durmstrang Academy's ship, making it extremely smooth.

Life during the holidays is relaxed and interesting. Every day when I wake up, I just need to read a book or play wizard chess, and the day will pass by quickly.

Ron, who was copying homework under Wright's supervision, suddenly looked up at Hermione and asked nervously:

"Hermione, who are you going to the ball with?"

Wright, who had finished his homework early, just glanced at the pair of bickering lovers and continued reading.

Hermione, who was reading a book, heard Ron's question, looked up at Ron, and said with a very serious expression:

"Ron, I didn't want to tell you because you would have laughed at me."

"Hermione..."

Ron looked at Hermione's serious face, frowned suddenly, and said in a strange tone: "Your teeth..."

"It seems to be different. I just noticed that they are now aligned."

Hermione smiled happily after hearing Ron's question: "Did you notice?"

"For this ball, I went to Madam Pomfrey to learn some magic to shrink teeth."

"Although if that happens, my parents, who are dentists, won't be happy."

"But I did it anyway, just for this dance."

Seeing Hermione's high spirits, Ron said "Oh" casually and stopped talking.

He continued to copy homework, and looked very unhappy.

Wright, who had been gossiping silently, shook his head when he saw this scene, thinking to himself:

"A girl has a crush on a boy, but is dating another boy."

"And the boy idolizes the boy who dates the girl."

“Isn’t this another way of burning winter?”
