Chapter 20 Goodbye Hagrid

Snape deducted points without batting an eyelid, ignored Harry's defiant look, turned around and left to continue teaching.

Wright watched this scene and could only pretend not to see it. Snape disliked Harry because of Harry's father.

Even if Wright told Harry the answer to the question in advance, there would be no possibility of change. After all, the root of the matter was not in asking the question and not being able to answer it.

Rather, the grudges and hatreds of the father's generation continued to the next generation. No matter how well Harry did, Snape would find fault with him.

Snape did not ask any more questions and began to teach the young wizards how to mix potions.

Because he didn't add any points, Wright made many mistakes when mixing potions. But Snape's attention was basically on Harry, and any mistakes that didn't make too much noise were basically ignored.

Snape stared at Harry expressionlessly like a poisonous snake staring at its prey, ready to rush over and spray venom if Harry made the slightest mistake.

If Neville hadn't accidentally burned through the crucible, causing Snape to pay more attention to other young wizards, Harry would probably have been caught and scolded by Snape during the entire Potions class.

"You passed, although just barely." Snape said to Wright expressionlessly after checking the yellow potion.

"Skill 'Potions': 1"

After hearing Snape's verdict and receiving the information from the tablet, Light was unable to react for a moment.

There were many mistakes in handling the raw materials. Wright had no hope and just wanted to get through the class.

Unexpectedly, when brewing the potion, the temperature was controlled very well, and a qualified product was barely prepared even though the raw materials were not handled well.

"Maybe it's because my black magic points are high enough, which has led to an improvement in my perception and control." Wright guessed.

In this potion class, most of the young wizards failed to make potions and were reprimanded by Snape. When the class was over, everyone had an expression of having survived a disaster.

"Oh my God, why would the school hire Snape as a professor? He's been swearing throughout the entire class." Ron was very angry and kept clenching his right fist.

Harry patted Ron's shoulder with a hint of gratitude. At the same time, he was scratching his head and couldn't figure out how he had offended Snape and why he had been targeting him.

"Harry, can't you read more books before class? Wouldn't it be enough if you just answer all the questions?" Hermione interrupted, exuding the aura of a top student.

"Hermione, not everyone can memorize the Potions book like you just a few days after school starts. And Snape doesn't seem to like Harry very much." Wright said meaningfully.

Hermione didn't say anything after hearing this. After all, Snape's behavior in class was definitely not the normal attitude of a teacher towards students.

Wright glanced at the still lost Harry and suddenly asked, "Do you want to talk to Hagrid? Maybe he knows why Snape doesn't seem to like you very much."

Harry, who was dejected, raised his head and said happily, "Great! I haven't seen Hagrid for a long time. Let's go find him now."

"Hagrid?" Ron and Hermione looked confused.

"It's the giant that took us to Hogwarts when we first got off the train," Light reminded.

"It's him! Then I want to go too." Ron raised his hand excitedly.

"Then I won't go. They are your friends." Hermione said hesitantly.

"Let's go together! Hagrid is a very nice person, and Hagrid will be very happy to see Harry making so many friends." Wright persuaded with a smile on his face.

"Yes! Let's go together!" Harry also agreed.

Under Wright's persuasion, Hermione also reluctantly went to find Hagrid.

"It's strange. I brought together the Iron Triangle, so why don't they give me mileage points? Are they not qualified? This is so strange!" Wright looked at the three people next to him and felt a little confused.

"Hagrid, we're here to play with you." Harry walked to a stone house with an oval roof, knocking on the door and shouting.

Not long after, the door of the stone house was opened, and a huge figure walked out of the house with a big dog.

"Harry, Wright, you're here! Come in quickly." Hagrid greeted them enthusiastically, soothing the big dog who was a little agitated when he saw the strangers.

Wright followed Hagrid into the house, which had only one room. The room was a bit shabby, without much decoration, just like a house where a hunter lived alone in winter.

"Please sit anywhere. You're welcome." Hagrid asked everyone to sit down, and then brought a plate of rock cakes to the table.

"Hagrid, let me introduce you. This is Ron, and this is Hermione." Harry waited for Hagrid to sit down before beginning to introduce them.

After everyone got to know each other, Harry and Ron began to talk to Hagrid about Snape, and then asked Hagrid why Snape deliberately made things difficult for Harry.

Hermione pretended not to care and also pricked up her ears to listen.

"Snape?...He used to be a Death Eater." Hagrid hesitated for a moment and said in his rough voice.

"Death Eaters?" Harry looked confused, while Ron and Hermione were so scared that they almost stood up.

"That's not surprising, but why didn't the Ministry of Magic arrest him?" Miss Know-it-all, who had an extremely rich knowledge reserve, asked curiously.

"I'm not too sure, it seems like Dumbledore is involved in this." Hagrid said vaguely.

"Wright, what are Death Eaters?" Harry poked Wright quietly and asked in confusion.

"They are the minions of the mysterious man. They follow the mysterious man's orders and do many bad things." Hermione answered before Wright could speak.

"Then why would Hogwarts recruit such a dangerous person as a professor? This is too dangerous." Ron said with great concern.

"It's okay, Dumbledore is here. And Snape is not a bad person, he's just not obviously good." Light defended Snape.

Harry touched his forehead: "You-Know-Who?"

"That's right, nothing will go wrong with Dumbledore here, don't worry!"

"Don't think about these unhappy things. Harry, eat your cake quickly." Seeing that Harry wanted to ask something, Hagrid changed the subject very abruptly.

Hagrid greeted them warmly. The unsuspecting members of the Iron Trio took a bite and almost had their teeth broken by the rock cake which was as hard as a rock.

Wright held the rock cake in his hand and greeted the big dog lying by the fireplace. He stroked the dog and fed it at the same time. The dog had very good teeth and ate the cake in no time.

When the four were about to go back, Hagrid enthusiastically offered them biscuits. Although the four declined, Hagrid still stuffed a lot of them into their pockets.

The four returned to the castle and separated at the stairs. Hermione went to the library, Harry and Ron went back to the dormitory. Wright made up an excuse, but in fact he was going to find the Room of Requirement.
