The researcher stood beside Lin Nan and began to check his physical condition, mumbling something. Lin Nan could feel that the other party seemed to be recording his physical changes, and these data would most likely be input into a certain system.

After the researcher finished the inspection, he seemed quite satisfied with Lin Nan's condition, and then turned to a terminal device in the corner of the room. While the researcher was concentrating on the terminal device, Lin Nan silently used that strength to try to loosen the restraints on his wrists and ankles. He felt the restraints on his wrists begin to loosen slightly, and although the movement was slow, he knew that he was gradually regaining control.

"Just a little more..." Lin Nan muttered to himself. Sweat began to form on his forehead. The power in his body seemed a little unstable, as if it might get out of control at any time. But he had no way out and had to keep trying.

The researcher seemed to have noticed something. He turned his head and glanced at Lin Nan. He quickly relaxed all his movements and continued to pretend to be unconscious. But his heart was beating violently, and it felt like every second was an eternity.

The researcher stared at him for a while, seemingly finding nothing unusual, and then turned back to operate the terminal. Lin Nan breathed a sigh of relief and continued to carefully try to break free.

Finally, his wrist slid out of the restraint, and although the movement was slight, it was enough to give him a glimmer of hope. He did not act immediately, but waited patiently until the researcher was completely immersed in the data analysis.

Just as the researcher's attention was completely attracted by the screen, Lin Nan exerted force suddenly and successfully freed his other hand. He quickly and silently sat up from the bed and almost instinctively rushed towards the researcher.

The researcher had no time to react at all. Lin Nan's claws had already grabbed his neck tightly and pressed him against the wall. The researcher's eyes widened, his face full of fear and astonishment. He struggled to say something, but no sound came out.

"I'll only ask once, where is my genetic data?" Lin Nan asked in a low voice, with endless chill in his voice. He knew that his current state was very dangerous, but he had to find the answer as soon as possible.

The researcher breathed hard, the fear in his eyes growing deeper and deeper. He barely raised his hand and pointed at the terminal device, obviously frightened out of his wits by Lin Nan's threat.

Lin Nan pushed him away and walked towards the terminal. He quickly operated the terminal and searched for his genetic data. His and Lin Yuan's names soon appeared on the screen, along with a complex string of genetic codes and experimental records.

"That's it..." Lin Nan stared at the screen, his hands quickly operating to copy the data to a portable device. He knew that this data might be the key to uncovering the truth and his only hope of returning to normal.

But just as he finished transmitting the last piece of data, an alarm suddenly sounded outside the room. Knowing that his actions had been exposed, he quickly unplugged the device, stuffed it into his clothes, and prepared for the upcoming battle.

There were chaotic footsteps outside the door, and it was obvious that the security guards were rushing in. Lin Nan took a deep breath, feeling the restless power in his body. He knew that the next battle would be another severe test for him.

"I can't be caught, I must find Lin Yuan..." He muttered to himself, tightly gripping the device in his hand, ready to fight to the death.

The door was slammed open, and several fully armed security guards rushed in, pointing their weapons at Lin Nan. Without any hesitation, Lin Nan quickly pounced on the nearest enemy, his claws slashing across the opponent's throat like a sharp blade, blood splattering everywhere.

His body became more flexible as he moved at high speed, and that strength seemed to be released in some way during the battle. Every attack was carried out with incomparable precision and power, and the enemy fell in a pool of blood before he could react.

But Lin Nan knew that the more this power was released, the more his sanity would be in jeopardy. He could feel the wild impulse deep in his heart growing stronger and stronger, as if it was going to completely devour his consciousness.

"Hold on, Lin Nan," he said to himself, trying to stay calm. He couldn't let this force take over him completely, he had to stay rational in order to continue to complete his mission.

As the last security guard fell to the ground, Lin Nan quickly glanced around and confirmed that there were no other threats. He turned and left the room, moving quickly towards the exit of the base. He knew that he could not delay any longer and had to leave here as soon as possible and find a place where he could analyze the genetic data.

Lin Nan's body still felt pain during the rapid movement, but he had no time to stop and rest. He knew that this escape was just the beginning, and greater dangers were waiting for him ahead. But no matter how many difficulties there were ahead, he would not give up.

"Lin Yuan, I will find you," he said with a firm determination in his eyes. The restless power in his body seemed to be calmed down a little at this moment, as if responding to his will.

Lin Nan quickly walked through the corridor of the base, his rapid breathing and heavy footsteps echoing in his ears.
