"We have to go in and take a look," Lin Nan said, "but be careful, there may be traps."

Peter fixed the door with spider silk, and Lin Nan activated the laser cutter of the armor and carefully cut the door lock. The door slowly opened, and they entered a dim basement, surrounded by a strange atmosphere.

"My name is Kanos," the man smiled, "I am the ruler of this city and your enemy."

"Kanos?" Peter frowned. "How did you do all this?"

"This is all thanks to your previous time travel," Kanos said coldly, "You disrupted the timeline and provided me with an opportunity. Now, the world will be destroyed because of your mistake."

"We won't let you succeed!" Lin Nan said firmly.

"Then let me see your strength," Kanos had just finished speaking when the entire basement began to vibrate violently. Various devices made harsh noises, and energy fluctuations became increasingly intense.

Lin Nan and Peter quickly entered combat status, while Kanos controlled the device in his hand, releasing powerful energy fluctuations, and the entire basement was shrouded in a blue light.

"We have to destroy his device!" Lin Nan shouted, "Peter, cover me!"

Peter acted quickly, wrapping the spider silk around Kanos's arm to try to stop him, while Lin Nan rushed to the circular device in the center and launched a fierce attack using the armor's energy cannon.

Kanos sneered, easily broke free from Peter's spider silk, and waved his hand back, knocking Peter back with a powerful energy wave. Seeing this, Lin Nan suddenly increased the intensity of his attack, but found that the device's defense was unusually strong.

"We can't go on like this," Peter struggled to stand up, "We need a new strategy."

"We have to find the weakness of the device," Lin Nan said calmly, "and try to destroy it from the inside."
