A dazzling light emanated from the device, and a powerful energy wave swept through the entire laboratory. Lin Nan and the female Lin Nan felt an irresistible force pulling them, and their bodies seemed to be torn apart and passed through the cracks of time and space.

When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in a completely different world.

The sky here is bright blue, the sun is shining, and there is a bustling city scene around them. The towering buildings and bustling crowds make them feel as if they have returned to the modern world.

"Where is this?" asked the female Lin Nan in a low voice, with a hint of confusion and expectation in her eyes.

The two decided to continue exploring in this strange city, looking for a way to return to the original timeline. They walked through the bustling streets and entered a high-tech research center. This place was full of the atmosphere of modern technology, and Lin Nan felt a glimmer of hope.

"We may be able to find more energy cores here." Lin Nan said, with a hint of determination in his eyes.

Female Lin Nan nodded, "Yes, we must find them as soon as possible."

"We need to find more energy, preferably with a stable supply." Female Lin Nan stared at the campfire and said softly.

"It's not easy to find energy in this desert." Lin Nan sighed, but his eyes remained firm, "But we can't give up."

Female Lin Nan nodded, a hint of determination flashing in her eyes. "I believe we can find a way out. Do you remember the ancient energy technology mentioned in the book?"

"You mean the technology that can extract energy from the desert?" Lin Nan recalled the books they found in the underground laboratory. "That's just a theory. We don't have enough equipment to realize it."

"But this may be our only chance." Female Lin Nan said firmly, "We can give it a try, maybe there will be unexpected gains."

"Okay, we can try." Lin Nan nodded. He knew that although the hope was slim, it was better than sitting and waiting for death.

The two decided to start exploring the desert around the oasis the next day to look for possible energy clues. The night in the desert was extremely cold, and the two huddled together by the campfire to keep warm. Lin Nan closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep, but his mind was in a mess, and he was worried about the next journey.

The morning sun shines through the leaves of the oasis and onto the ground. Lin Nan and his daughter Lin Nan get up early and start their exploration. They walk out along the edge of the oasis, trying to find some clues. In this vast desert, any small discovery could be the key to their survival.

The desert was full of unknown dangers. The scorching sun burned their bodies and sweat kept rolling down their foreheads. Lin Nan and his daughter Lin Nan trudged between the sand dunes, and their steps became heavier.

"Lin Nan, there is something there!" Female Lin Nan suddenly pointed to a sand dune in the distance, with a hint of surprise in her eyes.

Lin Nan looked in the direction she pointed, and sure enough, at the end of the sand dune, there was a huge rock standing there abruptly, and there seemed to be some traces of ancient carvings on the rock.

The two continued to study the symbols and finally found a hidden button on the back of the rock. Lin Nan gently pressed the button, and the rock made a low roar, then slowly moved, revealing a passage leading underground.

"What is this?" asked Lin Nan in surprise, with a hint of uneasiness in her eyes.

"It might be some ancient underground facility. Let's go in and take a look." Lin Nan said. He and female Lin Nan walked down the passage carefully.

At the end of the underground passage was a spacious stone chamber, in which were placed some ancient devices and equipment, and the walls were covered with old drawings and books. Lin Nan and his daughter Lin Nan walked into the stone chamber and found that it contained a lot of information about energy technology.

"These materials seem to be very valuable." Lin Nan said, he carefully looked through the drawings and books, trying to find some useful information.

Lin Nan found an old generator in a corner of the stone chamber. It looked like it had not been used for many years, but it still maintained its complete structure. "Lin Nan, this generator may still be usable."
