Chapter 440 [Please support the original version on Tomato Novel, thank you for reading] You can lie

Unlike the students who secretly competed with each other on the Quidditch pitch, Harry quietly wrote "I must not lie" over and over again.

Licolis really felt that Potter had a good character background, and he could still endure this kind of mental and physical torture.

The two parties on the Quidditch pitch had long dispersed, and Lycoris stood on the road between the Defense Against the Dark Arts office and Hogwarts, preparing for a "chance encounter."

Harry held his schoolbag with his good hand and started running after he was sure that the woman couldn't see him.

"boom!"

Harry felt like he had bumped into someone, and his schoolbag was thrown aside, with the books inside scattered all over the floor.

"I'm sorry!" Harry apologized, covering his chest. When he looked up, he saw a familiar person. Why was she here?

"I said Potter, why don't you look at the road?" Lycoris was prepared but still hit her. Fortunately, she used her arm to offset part of the impact.

She was knocked back a few steps and her back hit the wall.

Lycoris looked at Potter sitting on the ground and reached out to pull him.

Harry was not left-handed, so he stretched out his right hand.

From the first day he was punished by Dolores Umbridge, he had been careful not to let anyone see the wound on the back of his right hand.

"Potter, what's wrong with your hand?" Lycoris looked down at the back of Potter's hand and asked in confusion, "Is it hurt?"

"I'm fine!" Harry answered quickly and urgently.

Then he seemed to realize that his tone of voice was a bit wrong, and shook his head, "I'm fine."

Harry didn't want anyone to see the wound on the back of his hand, and he certainly didn't want the girl in front of him to know.

"You have something to do, let me take a look." Lycoris watched him put his right hand behind his back and tapped his left index finger in the direction where Potter was avoiding, "I saw bleeding - if you don't want to tell me, don't tell me. Okay, then I'll tell Madam Pomfrey."

Three, two, one.

After the girl in front of him said, "It's okay if you don't want to tell me," Harry breathed a sigh of relief.

He felt that he had brushed her off, but Licoris' next words made him think again.

She was going to tell Madam Pomfrey? no!

Harry didn't want to make a big deal out of it because he felt it was between him and that annoying guy Dolores Umbridge.

Seeing Lycoris turning around and walking away, Harry called her, "Please wait!"

Licoris had just finished counting when Potter stopped her.

"Let's talk somewhere else." Harry offered to change places, and then bent down to pick up something.

Licoris also bent down to pick it up for him, and Harry took what Licoris was holding and stuffed it into his bag.

Hallway corner.

There was no one around and no ghosts.

"Why are you here? It's so late, didn't you go back to the common room?" Harry was at a loss for words. He didn't know how to talk about what happened on the back of his hand.

"Did you forget something?" Licoris asked back. When those confused green eyes looked over, she continued, "I am the prefect, and the prefect has to patrol at night."

"Sorry, I forgot." Harry felt that he had been confused recently because of the pressure from Dolores Umbridge and the unfinished homework.

"Draco was supposed to be on night patrol today," Lycoris explained, "but he had already had a hard time appointing Chasers for Slytherin today, so I took over for him."

"It's a good thing it's not the Malfoy Night Patrol..." Harry blurted out.

If it was him he bumped into...

"I mean, did you also decide to be the Chaser? What a coincidence?" Harry found that he had forgotten again that Lycoris was Malfoy's girlfriend.

"Well, Marcus Flint has graduated, so we need a new Chaser." Licoris changed the subject smoothly, "What's wrong with your hand?"

"Professor Umbridge punishes me by using a weird quill to draw my blood..." Harry said it accidentally, "I..."

Seeing Lycoris' concerned eyes, Harry simply said everything.

"...She is a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor assigned by the Ministry of Magic, so she cannot treat students like this. This is corporal punishment! In the Muggle world, she must be arrested!" Lycoris said in a bad tone, motioning for Potter to roll up his sleeves.

Harry was comforted. At this moment, he didn't need pity, but needed someone to help him scold her.

"If you don't want to find Madam Pomfrey, I can prepare some potions for you," Licolis took the initiative. "This involves dark magic items. I can't eliminate them, but it should be fine to relieve the pain."

"Thank you, Lycoris." Harry thanked him sincerely.

"Actually, you can lie." Lycoris looked into his eyes and suddenly said this.

Harry didn't understand, "What?"

"You can lie," Lycoris repeated. "Lying can solve some of life's problems."
