After that, the Central Plains was in chaos again. Xuanzong was obsessed with ghosts and actually sleepwalked in the Moon Palace and molested Fairy Chang'e, causing heaven to be shaken. The Jade Emperor sent Qinglong, who had long resented the Tang Dynasty, to be reincarnated as Anlu Mountain, bewitched Xuanzong and launched a rebellion, triggering the collapse of the world and the dispute between the Yue and Tang Dynasties.

No. 15 [Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Heaven’s Law Is Clear]

Although Confucianism is an orthodox religion for adults, it is less sophisticated than Taoism, and even more deficient than Buddhism. Confucianism only controls the orthodoxy of the Central Plains and the destiny of the sect, but does not have the foundation to establish a religion. The rivers and mountains given to Confucius by Hongjun are also full of cause and effect because of the karma of suppressing the great catastrophe of the founding of the emperor. Today Confucianism is discussed together with Taoism and Buddhism. Hongjun guided Confucius eastward, intending to entrust Confucius with the Chaos Bell of the Land of Sunrise as the foundation of the religion.

Confucius traveled eastward and met Yi Zangnuozun in Japan. Yi Zangnuo was respected as a disciple of Yangmei Great Immortal, and lived in seclusion for thousands of years. His cultivation was already unfathomable, and Confucius was deeply envious of him. He did not know that besides the Six Saints, there were other Hunyuan Golden Immortals in the ancient times.

After Nuo Zun's junior brother Hai Chao Lao Lao helped himself to the unification of the government, he also secluded himself in Gaotianyuan to practice, and made friends with the Dragon King of the world, hoping to establish the Yin and Yang Sect to control Japan's destiny. Hai Chao has long coveted the 24-grade Qingwei White Lotus in Master Yang Mei's hands. After this treasure was passed to the hands of senior brother Yi Zang Nozun, Hai Chao begged for it several times and wanted to be the master of the White Lotus and establish a religion. Nozun was entangled to the point of helplessness and agreed. When the tide gathers, the dragon kings from all over the world will definitely give it to each other after establishing a religion.

They knew that the Qingwei White Lotus was the incarnation of heavenly principles, so it had an indulgent nature. It fell into the hands of Confucius and recognized it as his master. Both Confucius and Nuo Zun were surprised. This incident angered Hai Tide. After Hai Chao established the religion, he saw that Bai Lian had become a magic weapon of Confucius, so he decided that his senior brother had broken the contract. The Dragon King of the Four Seas originally wanted to lead his group of scales into the Haichao Sect and gain a place to stand on his own, but the Yin and Yang Sect lost its foundation and all resented Confucius.

Old Man Haichao deceived Confucius because of his shallow cultivation, summoned the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas, and intercepted Confucius on his way back. He wanted to submerge Confucius with the water of the four seas and recapture the Qingwei White Lotus. Yi Zangnuo suddenly appeared and helped Confucius turn the danger into safety and peel off the dragon king's scales with his spear. Hai Chao was furious, broke with his senior brother, and vowed to take back the magic weapon that established the religion.

At this time, Tieguai Li, a disciple of Taishang Laojun, also enlightened seven people including Zhongli of Han Dynasty, Zhang Guolao, Han Xiangzi, Lu Dongbin, He Xiangu, Lan Caihe and Cao Guojiu to ascend to the throne and became the Eight Immortals. The Eight Immortals then went to heaven for the feast of immortality, and met with their master, the moral sage, in Penglai Pavilion. This incident attracted countless Taoists, Tutuos and Confucian scholars from the Central Plains to come to pay homage and listen to the saint's words.

After completing the Eight Immortals study, he and his followers crossed the East China Sea and returned to Kyushu. During this period, Tieguai Li suggested that the Eight Immortals should not cross by boat, but each return with a magic weapon, which attracted the Eight Immortals to cross the sea and show their magical powers. The Dragon King of the East China Sea learned that while I had returned to Daluotian, he sent his son and grandson out to sea to rob the Eight Immortals and seize the Eight Immortals' magic weapon. The black, yellow and white cloud board given by the saint was used to deal with Confucius. The Eight Immortals were furious, so they sank Mount Tai into the East China Sea, almost filling up the sea, and the Shui people suffered. There is a poem that says:

Penglai Eight Immortals Pavilion,

The East China Sea shows its might and virtue.

The Dragon King took advantage of the robbery and threatened him,

Daizong Shen Daze.

Confucius invited the three saints Tathagata of the West, Xuanmen Laojun and Yi Zangnuozun to come to mediate, severely punished the Dragon King, and imprisoned the old man Haichao in Laozi's picture of the universe.

When the Eight Immortals were crossing the sea, there was a Confucian scholar named Zhu Xi who was accompanying them. He was clean and honest by nature, and people at the time called him an upright official. He was also born to love lotus. That day, he divined with a Taoist priest and learned that a white lotus would appear in the East China Sea, so he came to watch the Eight Immortals crossing the sea. When Confucius, the leader of Confucianism, appeared, Zhu Xi sacrificed his life to retrieve the magic weapon, the black-yellow and white cloud tablet, performed great merits in front of the leaders of the Confucian religion, and held the sacred tooth-hut to pay homage to Confucius. Confucius admired it and displayed 24 delicate white lotuses in front of the gods. The fragrance was overflowing, no less than the Western Golden Lotus of Merit. Zhu Xi looked at the white lotus from a distance without playing with it, and then he understood the natural principles within it. This is because Zhu Zi saw the white lotus and understood the principles of heaven.

Confucius then used Qingwei White Lotus as the foundation of his religion. Because he inspired Zhu Zi to understand the principles of heaven and used Zhu Zi to educate all people, he became a saint through his own merits. He was the first teacher of Confucius. Confucius reinterpreted the Four Books to clarify the opposition between the way of heaven and the principles of heaven, and asked Zhu Zi to mention "preserve the principles of heaven and destroy human desires", which means that everyone in the world needs to preserve the principles of heaven in their bodies in order to preserve spiritual wisdom and consciousness, and also to eliminate great desires. Don't be restrained by the laws of nature and do whatever you want. Since then Neo-Confucianism was first established, and there is a poem praising it:

Zhu Zi only loved the lotus,

Sacrifice yourself in front of Xuanban.

I'm so lucky to see the Holy Face,

Existing reason and extinguishing desire to speak.

The Confucian leader became a saint, and all the six saints in the heavens were shocked. Among them, Yuanshi Tianzun was the most angry. Nowadays, Taoism lags behind Buddhism, and new Confucian sages have emerged, becoming a major enemy. Taoism has become the last of the three religions. The leader of the Tongtian cult thought he could make a comeback through Confucianism, but unexpectedly he became Confucius. And because Kong Sheng was the lowest in cultivation and because he once asked Li Dan, he was the humblest among the seven saints.

Since her journey to the west, Nuwa took the opportunity to eliminate the demon sect and regain control of it. She wanted to subdue Kunpeng and spread the religion to the outside world, focusing on the immortal people of Shouhua Kingdom. Kunpeng knew that it was difficult to defeat the saint Wahuang, but he did not want to lose his supreme position in the Shouhua Kingdom, so he led the Nether Sect southward, pretending that he wanted to have good relations with the Minghe Sect, so that the demons under the Minghe Sect could control Shouhua's luck, while he himself Return to Beihai Demon Master Palace and stay behind closed doors.

Minghe was extremely grateful to Kunpeng and thought he had another place to preach. Unexpectedly, the Holy Emperor Wa was furious and came to Nanming in person. He killed most of the demon generals of the Nether Sect. Minghe was defeated and was captured by Nuwa instead. All the past events were revealed. Say Nuwa. Nuwa knew that this was Kunpeng's plan, so she collapsed Bei Ming Tiangui Mountain, trapping Beiming Kunpeng like a cage. Kunpeng was afraid of the power of the saint and did not dare to appear in the wilderness again.

After both the demon sect and the Netherworld sect of Shouhua Kingdom were destroyed, Zhunti immediately introduced three great masters to introduce Buddhism. After that, all the countries in Nanming believed in Buddhism, with Siam being the most prosperous. When Patriarch Minghe learned about Shouhua, almost all of his Shura disciples were killed or injured. Brahma and Lust, among the four major disciples under him, were also taken advantage of by Buddhism. Styx regarded Demon Master Kunpeng and Western Buddhism as mortal enemies and vowed to eliminate them. But because the underworld is guarded by the three religions, they dare not act rashly.

Minghe knew that Yuanshi Tianzun was also very dissatisfied with Buddhism and regarded Buddhism as a heretic, so he intended to unite with them. However, because of his low status and low status, he did not have hope in this matter. Unexpectedly, not long after Yuanshi and his senior brother Laozi, Erqing personally met with Minghe in the sea of ​​blood. Because the karma in the world was too heavy, the Emperor's Catastrophe could no longer be suppressed and was about to appear in the world. Therefore, Erqing intended to use the power of the Nether Sect to help the true master. Unify the human world and destroy the destiny of Buddhism and Confucianism.

At this time, Buddhism is really different from what it used to be. It is completely different from the time when it was a god. Because of its widespread spread, there are believers in Tiandu, Siam, Japan, the Central Plains, and the snowy Mount Everest. Therefore, great Zen masters have come to realize the Buddha and strive to interpret the Buddha's meaning, and great talents have emerged in large numbers. There is a poem praising this grand occasion:

Wedding ceremony, burning incense and reciting mantras, sitting in lotus position and reciting Shurangama.

All dharmas return to the ancestral power of bliss, and the Buddhas of the three generations protect the wonderful source.

Since Confucius became a saint, the Way of Heaven has gradually distanced itself from Confucianism, but because Zhu Xi fully understood the principles of Heaven, he was not tolerated by the Way of Heaven. The leader of Tongtian was afraid of offending Hongjun, being expelled from his holy position by heaven, and demoted to reincarnation, so he also began to draw a clear line with Confucius. However, Kong Sheng tried to use the help of the previous Heaven to unify Jiejiao and Confucianism, improve the cultivation of Confucian scholars, and gain the luck of Jiejiao.

Although Minghe was overjoyed at the union of the two Qing Dynasties, he was still doubtful that Yuanshi Tianzun could help him with all his resources. In order to have a backup plan, he met the Confucian saint Confucius and exchanged the guardian beasts Hanuman and Pixiu. But Confucius had little to say about the great calamity of Emperor Kaihuang.

The flower fields on the other side of the Forget River in the underworld have stood for hundreds of millions of years, and each plant has accumulated the memories of countless dead souls. If it is guided, it will surely serve as a springboard for the invasion of the Six Paths of Reincarnation. Determined to avenge his shame, Minghe condensed his grievances at the Naihe Bridge and gathered the memories of all sentient beings in the past to become the flower master on the other side, occupying four of the six reincarnations. The Taoist Fengdu Emperor also received the second Qingming Order, and did not take action against the Nether Sect, and wanted to delay the Buddhist Ksitigarbha envoy. He also did not respond. Styx controlled the reincarnations of four living beings and gathered a huge tribe, all of whom were followers of the Nether Sect. Styx quickly invaded the Tiandu Kingdom, the heartland of Buddhism, and massacred all the people with his Asura tribe and his mixed blood. This is the method of destroying the River Styx.

The Nether Sect led the barbarians to massacre Tiandu because of its teachings, which offset the previous merits of opening Hengshui to save the people of Tiandu. From then on, Tiandu became the land of Netherworld Cult, with the smell of sea of ​​blood and putrid smell all year round. However, Buddhism has not suffered any serious damage, and the light of Buddha continues to shine in places such as Siam and the Snowy Land.

But Styx did not give up. He gathered the only remaining witch tribe in the north of the Central Plains - the Zhurong tribe witch tribe, and taught the teachings of the underworld to these cruel creatures who were born with no spiritual intelligence. Styx takes Mahakala as the main god of the Zhurong tribe, and takes the name "Mengwu" from the ancient shaman secret text with the word "Sky Fire" to establish the Mengwu tribe, claiming to be after Chiyou and the Jiuli tribe. He also allowed the Asuras and the Sky Poison mixed-blood people to intermarry with the Mongolian people, so that the Mongolian people gradually gained spiritual energy.

Due to the arrival of the Great Catastrophe of the Founding of the Emperor, the Styx River helped the Mongols to sweep overseas and unify the North Pole. At the time of breaking the North Ming Dynasty, Kunpeng released the Tianze Water in Tiangui Mountain and froze it for thousands of miles, trying to kill the descendants of the Fire Ancestral Witch in the ice and snow. Little did they know that the Mongol people were a mixture of countless ethnic groups and were extremely cold-resistant. With the help of the demon Lord Mahakala, Kunpeng was besieged.

Because of Kunpeng's reputation as a demon master, the demon monks from the North Sea came to help in the battle, but Mengwu was still unable to break through the formation of demons. Kunpeng saw that Ming He was almost mad, and knew that he could not escape death. However, Ming He also had Yuantu and Abi swords in his hands. Killings were not related to cause and effect. Therefore, Kunpeng did not want to let his death be in vain during the Great Tribulation of the Emperor, so he joined his close friend Renjiao. In a dream, Master Nan Hua asked for help. In the name of the demon master of the demon sect, he ordered all the demons in his sect to respect the Empress Nuwa, and the demon sect belonged to the Supreme Emperor Wa.

Zhuang Zhou, a real man from Nanhua, used his own dream as Kunpeng's refuge, and personally went to the palace of Wa as a disciple of Taishang Laojun to ask the saint to come out. However, Nuwa still ignored Kunpeng because of his previous mistakes. At this time, Kunpeng's descendants moved back to Beiming from the South China Sea. Minghe ordered Meng Wutian Khan to bend his bow and shoot into the sky, killing all the fairy birds one by one to show his military power. Kunpeng was heartbroken.

Kunpeng knew that his time was short and he had no saint to protect him. He regretted that he had stolen books and escaped from the Taitian Court, and then established his own sect to fight against the master of the demon sect. Kunpeng voluntarily left Zhuang Zhou's dreamland and faced the Ancestor Styx. The battle between the two shocked the Mengwu witch clan and many demon monks under their disciples. In the end, Kunpeng was defeated, but Minghe relied on the two swords of Yuantu and Abi to avoid causing trouble. However, the demons in the North Sea committed suicide one after another due to Kunpeng's death, and fell into reincarnation. In the end, the Styx was implicated in the cause and effect. The other monks followed Kunpeng's decree and called themselves Nuwa disciples. They respected the Holy Emperor Wa and unified the demon sect.

When Kunpeng was defeated by Styx, Master Nanhua opened his dream and introduced a trace of the soul of the Master of Demons into it. From then on, Kunpeng always existed in the form of a soul in the dream of his best friend Zhuang Zhou. The demon master Kunpeng died at this point. There is a poem saying:

Swinging in the sky to embrace the bright moon, the supreme master of all demons is Beiming.
