[HP] Amy Lee sleepwalks through Hogwarts
Chapter 73 Gryffindor Sword
"What are you doing? Stop!" Tom was shouting loudly, but there was no way to stop Amy.
Amy just slowly dragged Ginny's soul out, and then slowly put it into Ginny's body.
At the same time, Harry took advantage of the basilisk to bite him again, put his sword into its mouth, and stabbed through its upper jaw with force. A stream of black blood flowed down the sword, and a fang pierced deeply into his arm.
Harry pulled out the sword from the upper jaw of the basilisk, and then pulled out the basilisk's fangs that were pierced into his flesh. He stumbled back, still kneeling in front of Ginny, trying to wake her up: "Ginny..."
But Ginny still didn't wake up, but her breathing became slightly easier.
Tom's shadow had become blurry again, but he said: "It's useless! You are just delaying time, she still won't wake up!"
So, Amy came up with the idea of the diary again. Pick up the old diary, grab a piece of paper, and tear it hard... After tearing it, it will become intact again.
It seems that this diary is under a spell. No matter how it is destroyed, it will be restored to its original state immediately.
Amy asked Harry: "Is there a way to destroy this diary? It seems to be cast with a strong spell. No matter how it is destroyed, it will eventually be restored."
It seemed that the question was in vain, and Harry shook his head as expected.
Amy thought for a while and whispered to herself: "Or...can we try to use some kind of medicine to corrode it?"
She could go take a look in the "hidden space" at this time, and maybe use her gold coins to buy some solution that could corrode the notebook.
Suddenly, Harry seemed to think of something. He looked at the bloody basilisk fang in his hand, snatched the diary from Amy's hand, and pierced the long fang into the center of the diary.
The diary was screaming and seemed to be struggling, with streams of black liquid pouring out from where the fangs were pierced.
Tom was also screaming loudly, struggling desperately, twisting, and waving his hands constantly. First a big hole appeared on his body, and finally it turned into pieces like a piece of paper and disappeared into the air. Harry's wand fell to the ground with a clatter.
Amy was stunned and didn't expect that the snake's venom was also corrosive. I didn't expect it to be so useful for Tom's diary.
Now, a hole has been burned through the diary by the basilisk's fangs, black smoke is still emitting, and black liquid is still flowing out.
Almost at the same time, Ginny opened her eyes suddenly and looked around in horror.
Amy quickly helped her up and said: "It's okay, Ginny!" and pointed at Harry: "He saved us!"
Ginny looked at the huge basilisk corpse not far away, and then at Harry covered in blood, the shocking wounds on his arms, and the diary.
Ginny burst into tears again: "I'm sorry, Harry! It was Tom Riddle who asked me to do that... I... originally wanted to tell you, but Percy was here too... I didn't dare to do it in front of him. I said...I wanted to tell Amy secretly, but...I suddenly didn’t know anything..."
"It's okay, Ginny!" Amy gently touched her hair and smiled at her: "Harry is not angry! I already know that it was Tom Riddle who controlled you! You didn't do those things. Yes, it was all done by Tom Riddle with your help! He is the bad guy!"
Harry also said: "It's okay, Ginny! Tom and his basilisk are finished! We should go out."
"But your injury..." Ginny looked at the wound that was bleeding black blood and was at a loss.
Harry had been poisoned by snake venom, his lips had turned black, his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier, and he could no longer stand up.
Amy said: "It doesn't matter! Maybe I can cure it!" Then she was about to start the "hiding space" and let Harry go in to heal.
But before she could do that, she heard the cry of the phoenix again, and it hovered and landed in front of Harry.
The phoenix in the middle stretched its head towards Harry's wound, and then large tears rolled out of its eyes and fell on Harry's wound. At a speed visible to the naked eye, the wound began to heal, and Harry's complexion completely recovered.
Harry let out a long breath: "Dumbledore said that the tears of the phoenix can heal wounds."
Amy thought it might be more than that. Phoenix's tears detoxified the snake's venom.
"I'm going to be kicked out..." Ginny continued to sob.
Amy also continued to comfort: "Didn't I tell you before? This is none of your business! We were both caught here, and it was Harry who saved us!"
After hearing this, Ginny cried and nodded.
Harry led them out of the gloomy hall and passed through a long tunnel, where they vaguely heard the sound of someone moving heavy objects.
"Ron!" Harry shouted over there: "Ginny is okay! I found her! And Amy!"
Then, they heard Ron cheering: "Ginny is okay? Is Ginny really okay?"
Anyway, he didn't have much time to care about Amy.
Harry led them forward and saw a place blocked by rubble. A gap had been dug out in the middle for only one person to crawl through. On the other side was Ron's anxious face.
"Ginny!" Ron stretched out his hand, motioning to take Ginny over there first.
Amy pushed Ginny forward, who was trying to shrink back, and helped her climb out of the gap.
Ron seemed to want to hug her, but Ginny cried and backed away, preventing Ron from getting close to her. So Ron could only say: "It's great that you're okay."
Immediately, the fiery red phoenix flew across the gap, startling Ron.
"Where did this bird come from?" Ron looked at this unusual bird in surprise.
"It belongs to Dumbledore!" Harry said while motioning Amy to go first: "It's a phoenix!"
After Amy passed by, Harry threw the sword and the Sorting Hat over together, and finally crawled out of the gap alone.
"You also found a sword?" Ron's eyes were filled with envy.
"We'll talk about this later!" Harry asked, "Where's Lockhart?"
Ron pointed in the direction behind him: "It's not safe here. I asked him to wait under the pipe."
"Lockhart?" Amy was particularly puzzled: "Why is he here? Is he here to help? What role can he play?"
Ron rubbed his hair speechlessly and said, "It really didn't help..."
They followed Fenghuang until they reached the pipe that went straight up and down. They guessed that this should be the cave under the sink in the women's restroom on the second floor.
"Hello! Who are you?" Lockhart still had that sparkling smile on his face, but his mind was obviously abnormal.
Amy couldn't help but complain: "Did you finally fall silly?"
"This..." Ron was even more embarrassed: "He took my wand away, and the spell bounced back on himself... He can't remember anything now."
"Oh!" Amy couldn't help but snorted at Lockhart: "It's your own fault!"
